How do you get Mail to automatically show attached photos as thumbnails

In previous Mail versions photos imported into outgoing messages could be viewed either as thumbnails or attached files. Since installing Lion I can't find this option. Grateful for any clues!

The default SWF video player widget inserted into a PDF does not support looping playback, and there's no way to change that from inside InDesign - you need to change the widget.
We have a free replacement version that natively supports looping, and can be used in Acrobat 9+ and InDesign CS5+. To install it, extract the VideoPlayer.swf file to the following location(s), keeping the existing ones as a backup:
For Acrobat, put it in Program Files(x86)/Adobe/Acrobat x/Acrobat/Multimedia Skins/Players
For InDesign, put it in Program Files(x86)/Adobe/Adobe InDesign CSx/Presets/multimedia
where 'x' is your installed version number.
Place your video as before and export to PDF, and the widget will be used instead of the default non-looping version. It has a bunch of other advanced features you can control inside Acrobat using scripts, once the PDF has been exported.

Iphone 3GS- How do you get the pictures to show up larger when someone calls? I know this seems trivial but I have difficulty seeing, so one of the reasons I actually purchased this phone was for this feature. When the photos do come up they come up in the top right corner in small boxes / windows. I already google'd this topic and they suggested importing the photos - to itunes and than directly on to the iphone, I did this and it didn't work. Additionally I took a few test photos from the iphone and tried setting them to contacts. This didnt work either. I looked in settings and could not find anything that discussed this issue. Although I do believe I have seen iphones that ring with large pictures. Am i Crazy?

You aren't crazy.
Adding the photo to contacts on the computer gets you the smaller pix when people call.
Assign the photo on the phone itself and you get full-size pix.
Additionally I took a few test photos from the iphone and tried setting them to contacts. This didnt work either.
So, that certainly should work. Try it again? Try it with a brand new contact, maybe it is not overwriting a previously existing picture.
I suppose there is a small possibility that Apple thought this differing behavior was a bug instead of a feature and "fixed" it with a recent update, but I doubt it.

Go to Window menu > Graphics (in pse 11 former "content") and select By event > Christmas

Thanks Diggie, your response was very close. I clicked on the email several times. It came up and gave me the option to Send. I clicked Send and my recipients received the email.
I did not have to delete and reinstall my email account.

By using an external editor. Preview is already on your Mac. It's called 'Flip Horizontal'
In order of price here are some other suggestions:
Seashore (free)
The Gimp (free)
Graphic Coverter ($45 approx)
Acorn ($50 approx)
Pixelmator ($50 approx)
Photoshop Elements ($75 approx)
There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

figured it out...i created a shortcut and used that - that won't work because
for some reason when I created the short cut the application path did not update
so now just using the icon in the application folder.

Welcome to Numbers discussions.
In a pie chart you'll see the percent sign, %, not in bar charts. If you want it to read 50% you may want to put in a text box then to that add 50%, that's what I do. If there's a better way I hope someone else will jump in here.

when i click on bookmarks/show boommarks, they show until i click on one of them ../. then i have to re-do it all over again. how do i get the bookmarks to always show along the left side of the screen, for example.

Sadly to say, not possible with Safari.
The workarouns is to have them showing in a separate Safari window.

How do you get multiple plots to show up on the same graph?

I am trying to get multiple (20) plots to show up on the same XY
graph. My data set is a 2D array, which exits a for loop.
The ultimate goal is to have one plot show up after each iteration of
the for loop. I can only get all 20 to show up at once, not one
at a time. Any suggestions?

How do you get iPhoto to stop autocropping/zooming photos within a frame?

I have hundreds of odd shaped images and I don't want to have to manually "fit to frame" hundreds and hundreds of images?
Can I turn off the autocropping or zooming function so Apple uses my actual picture dimensions? Or at least is there a way to batch "fit to frame"? Thanks for any help! Scrapbook we must deal with issue all the time.

If you're referring to iPhoto books and photos in the frames on the page there is a Fit Photo to Frame Size option. Command (right)-click on the photo on the book page and select Fit Photo to Frame Size from the Contextual menu:

I didn't set anything - it just happened. I think it only works for IMAP accounts. If yours is IMAP, the only thing I can think of is to delete the account and set it up again

I have searched this forum, read the articles here and on Google and I still can't figure this out. Perhaps what I'm wanting isn't possible.
All I want to do is watch my CBS show from www.cbs.com on Apple Tv via my iMac. The Apple TV moniker is next to the volume in iTunes, and I can play music through Apple Tv via I-tunes and have it play on my TV. Thus, I know it is connected and working. I thought I could do a mirror screen like I do with the iPad, but for the life of me I can't find anyone who has covered the subject online.
Can someone tell me, step-by-step, how to show video from my iMac onto my Apple TV. Thanks so much!

If the specs you included about your iMac model are correct, it will not support AirPlay mirroring. See About AirPlay Mirroring in OS X - Apple Support for more about this, including the list of supported models & required OS X versions.
