Only Apple knows the answer to whether or not there is a verified problem and if so when will a fix be released. As is their custom, Apple does not talk about these things and the rules of these communities prohibit speculation about future udates or upgrades. It is probably safe to say if a fix is deemed necessary it will be called OS X 10.8.6.

We need the Request Restart ability when scheduling a single reoccurring job in Redwood. Most of our jobs are scheduled in CHAINs which offers the Final Status Handler on Step level, and the schedule is "paused" when a job in the CHAIN has failed ( the next instance does not populate until the OP MSG has been Replied to) , and once the OPERATOR message is replied to, the CHAIN can resume running again ( desired ) . But we need this same ability when scheduling a single job not in a CHAIN. In our testing, we set up a job with Request Restart chosen on the Error , Killed and Unknown selections on the Restart Behavior Tab. But we found when a job is scheduled say once a day at 8AM, and when it fails, an OPERATOR msg appears allowing a Restart choice ( desired), but the next day's schedule also populates ( undesired) and we do NOT want the schedule to continue on yet because we need a chance to fix the error before the next insance runs for business reasons. So how can you get the schedule of a single reoccurring job with Restart ability in Redwood to pause when it has failed...?

Hello Fran,
You can wrap the job chain in a master job chain in the first step and set the final status handler there.
You can also set the Restart Behavior to 'Stop Submit Frame', in that case you will have to resubmit the job once you are finished troubleshooting.

thanks for your help. Your hint didn't solve my problem but pointed me in the right direction.
When I wanted to activate my new phone from backup I realized, I didn't knew the password. It was noted on a paper at home. So I activated the phone free cause I couldn't await coming home ... a new toy!
Due to GameCenter I have two apple-ids and unfortunately I took the wrong for the activation.
Back home I've reset the phone and activated it from backup. The iWork apps disappeared and now are linked to the other apple-id.
I was able to re-install the apps from AppStore for free. But I don't think I can transfer the apps to the other id.

How do you get GB to play from playhead position (not restart from start)

I've recorded a song and want to hear it from where the playhead stopped when I pressed the spacebar. I press the spacebar again and instead of continuing on from where it stopped the playhead goes back to the start of the song. How do you get the playhead to just continue on from the position where it stopped?

There are two ways to do this.
1. If you have it, use iMovie HD6. You can put all of your movies into one project, and add chapter markers at the beginning of each movie. This will allow you to play your movies straight through or select the individual movies, like a scene selection.
2. You can use iDVD instead. Check out this post by Old Toad on how to use this method.

How do you get 4.3.3 to download

I have tried at least 20 times to get the download to complete. How do you get the stupid thing to completely download?

I'm having the same problem. Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 with Norton 360 v5.0.2.1 Tried disabling the Smart Firewall, Anti-Virus Auto-Protect, SONAR etc. -- same results. iTunes says it's downloading, gets to the end, then says it failed because of a network timeout. I have not been having any kind of Internet connection problems.
I ran the iTunes diagnostics -- the only thing wrong was that iTunesHelper wasn't running. I enabled that, and rebooted -- still no difference. Except now the diagnostics show no problem at all.
I have a 3GS, but I don't think that even matters, because iTunes won't even finish the download, never mind starting to install it on the phone. Never had a problem downloading previous updates with the same configuration/software installed -- even with all the Norton stuff activated.
Anyone?

How do you get music files to play on iTunes 10.5?

Every time I click on the song it shows that it's going to start playing but it doesn't actually start. It shows that the song is at 0 seconds but the play button is on.
I have a macbook pro. Latest software.

I have obviously tried that, and it still won't play. According to the top, it's playing, but the status bar of the song that shows where in the song it's up to isn't moving and the song isn't actually playing. The volume is turned all the way up, so I'd hear if something started to play.

How do you get music off of your shuffle?

I recently had to get a new hard drive for my ibook after it died. B/c it happened so suddenly, I was not able to back up anything including my music. I am now trying to restore my music, but the music on my shuffle is not showing up except for the itunes purchased music. I can still play the music on my shuffle, but itunes doesn't see it. Also, my ipod is not showing in the itunes menu and every time I connect my iPod I get a message that saysmy iPod is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPod and sync with this library? Obviously I don't want to do this b/c I would lose my music. How do I keep my music?

Are you talking about text message or email?
The only way to get a text message back is to restore from a backup that included that message.
For email I would check your trash folder on your PC.

You'll need to burn the songs to audio CD, then rip into a format that your PDA will play. There is no iTunes player available for PDAs, so you'll need to 'jump through hoops' to get it to work. THe GOOD thing is, you'll have a backup made of your iTunes purchases!
