How do you get PSE12 to stop opening the keyword menu at the top of the screen

How do you get PSE12 to stop opening the keyword menu at the top of the screen when you want to isolate tagged photos?????????????
it takes up 1/4 of the screen. This is so stupid. PSE10 had it done right, just a click box and boom all the photos tagged would be there!
This makes NO sense the way it is done now.
How do you turn it off, please . I am ready to send this back to amazon and go back to 10.

I right click on an index key word and open Properties. There is only one topic associated with this key word. I click on the Advanced tab, select the custom window that I created. Click OK, compile, etc.
When I try to access this topic from the index, it still opens in the default pane. When I access it from the TOC, it opens in the custom window. How can I get the topic to open in the custom window from the index?

Hello,
The link might not work in Preview (When the option to open link in new tab is checked) however it will work if you do a File>Preview page/site in Browser.
Muse Preview has only one tab and cannot open another tab/window which is why this functionality does not work in Muse Preview. but works in preview in Browser and in published site.

I need to find out how to create a button that when pressed will bring up a menu with other buttons on it. I am doing this for a school assignment. Basicly, i select "Shoes" and that brings up a menu where i can chose from a bunch of different shoes. Please help!!

you can then add a listener to your main button the causes that movieclip to be added to the stage (eg, by using addChild).

Your fan(s) will run at high speed (i.e., loudly) while video is playing, and you can't get around that.
If your fans are not slowing down within 2-4 minutes after CPU- and/or GPU-intensive usage ends, and the application that was showing the video is still running, Quit that application. (In fact, if you're accustomed to Windows, you may not realize that simply closing a Mac application's window does not quit the application. You still need to use the Quit command in the application-name menu. There will always be a bright dot beside or below the application icon in your Dock for each application that is open.) Quit the ones you aren't using, and see whether that allows the fans to slow down without restarting the machine. If that doesn't do the trick, reset the SMC:

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

You can configure iTunes to sync only a subset of your music. Create a playlist in iTunes of the music you want on the iPod, and change the iPod sync settings. More info is here.

It is showing in downloads that it is there but when I double click on it nothing happens. Nothing at all! It shows the file size and when I look in Spotlight it comes up as the tophit and when I click on it it opens the Adobe Reader icon and shows the file size and I double click and NOTHING happens. I saw in some other posts to use review by Apple. I don't even know where Review is located. I downloaded 10.8.3 last night as it told me to UPDATE. I had 10.8.2. Thanks so much for your reply. The photo part is rather self-explanatory. as long as your photos are in the right format and with the right naming convention they should import right over. The video may be a bit more tricky. So you may want to do some more research and make sure your camera records a format the iPad will import and whether or not you need an app such as iMovie

When I click the home button, it takes me to my home page AND opens a blank tab. How can I get it to stop opening the new tab!

Something I have noticed with the iPad that it is possible for webpages to run as if they are in their own app.
For example, the BBC iplayer (www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer). Open this site in safari, add an icon for it to your home screen, then when you use this icon to open the iplayer it opens as if it is an app, it doesn't have the address bar or back and forward buttons etc. Also when you double click the home button the iplayer icon shows up with the rest of the apps (usually you just get safari there) and if you open safari and look at the pages you have open it doesn't show there. It really does look as though it is an app, although what I'm guessing is happening is that it is open in a new instance of safari.
My question is, does anyone know how to get a site to do this? I'm assuming there are some meta tags in the HTML but I can't find any references to this being possible let alone how to do it.
Would really like to get this working on some of my sites so if anyone has any ideas would be much appreciated

The site doesn't do it. Safari does it. All you have on your Home screen is the iPad equivalent of a webloc, a small text snippet containing the URL for whatever page you saved.
