  • How do you get your songs from WMP to ITunes?

All my songs are stored in windows media player library. When i installed itunes several of the songs went to itunes automatically but loads more didnt. I have tried manually to do it but it still wont work. I know someone said that if they are protected they wont go to itunes, so to get mp3 songs which helps. Alot of my songs are already mp3. Please can someone help?
    Thanks

First the songs you are trying to add to itunes and are not adding to itunes, do you get any error message when you try or sdoes nothing at all happen?
The songs that do not add check and see what format there in like WMA or MP3. If there protected WMA files, you will have to burn the songs to a audio CD in WIndows Media PLayer, then put that burned CD back into the PC and Import/rip the CD using itunes. WHen doing this make sure itunes is set to import in MP3 format

can anyone tell me how to get your songs from your ipod to your computer?

Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Other free programs are Pod Player, SharePod and Floola.
If it's a Mac, try Senuti or Music Rescue.

  • How do you redownload purchased songs from iTunes?

iTunes Match has completely bollocked up my iTunes linrary.  Many of the albums have double entries—one that is in iCloud to be downloaded (a little cloud with a downward pointing arrow) and a duplicate that is on my computer but not in iCloud (a little cloud with an 'x' in it.)  I've found that the only way to 'fix' this and not have every song play twice is to delete the one that isn't in iCloud.  To delete the one in iCloud would prevent it from appearing on my other devices.
iI have hundreds of songs im my library, so this has been an enormous task. There are several albums that I've purchased in the iTunes Store that have either missing songs or duplicates.  I decided that, rather than futz around with them, I'd delete the entire album from both my library and iCloud and the redownload the purchased album.
I've tried to follow the instructions provided by Apple.  I go to the iTunes store and click on purchased items, it displays the albums I've purchased.  However, in one case, when I click on download all songs, it only download 3 out of a dozen.  How do I get the entire album to download?

  • How do you get a song from your library to to be a ringtone on your i phone

how do i get asong mron my music libraryto be a ring tone on my i phone4s

I dont' have the shuffle plugged in right now.  I was just trying to delete specific songs from a playlist by highlighting them then pressing the delete key.
What are the checkmarks in front of the songs for ?  I've tried removing them before delete but that doesnt work either.   Oh I did try the shift and delete but that just erased the song name.

  • How do you remove purchased songs from the iCloud?

There are a bunch of songs that I have bought over the years that I have no intention of listening to again. Since I have signed up for iTunes Match, they now all appear again on all my devices that I use the iCloud on... Apple says that I can simply go into my "purchased" list on iTunes and hide them, but that does not work as they still show up... what am I doing wrong, or how do I really accomplish this? Is there some second step I need to take in order to complete the process?
I have seen suggestions of starting a second library, but is that really necessary? I just want to hide some of the songs I don't want anymore so I don't have to scroll past all of it all the time anymore.

Once you have a secure backup of your Song files you can simply delete a Song, selecting the option to remove from iCloud.
It is worth turning off all other libraries and devices associated with the same Apple Id / iTunes Match service first.
Once the deletion request is confirmed, 'Update iTunes Match', close your local library - allow 20 - 30 mins for synchronisation across the Apple infrastructure, restart the library and confirm that the Songs have really gone - once confirmed you can start the other libraries and iDevices - the deletions will be applied to all.
A second library is an easy way to store all your 'deleted from iCloud' Songs but it is not necessary.

  • How can I get my songs from my old itunes to my new one?

I've recently changed computers. I installed iTunes on my new laptop and I plugged my iPod into it, the songs I bought from iTunes were transferred but the others originally from CDs were not transferred. I don't know how to fix this and I have over a thousand songs so don't really want to install the all manually again.
    Thank you,
    Cherry.

  • How do you get voice memos from iphone onto itunes with MANUAL sync?

Ok, the iphone voice record function... I can't get the voice memos onto itunes or my computer. I don't use the autosync function, I like to manage my music and such manually.
I cannot find a way to manually access the voice memos on my iphone through itunes. Many of them are too large to email so I'm stuck.
The only option seems to be auto-sync, and if I do turn on the sync function at this point, itunes will completely erase my iphone and the voice memos I've recorded on it. Kind of defeats the purpose.
    Any tips?
I've looked at a lot of posts and haven't found anything to help here. Just a bunch of posts complaining about how bad the voice recorder feature is integrated into the new iphone 3.0 software.
    i'm using a 32gb 3gs.

Sorry for bumping an old topic, but I'm not quite sure if there is a solution to this.
I have the same desire as OP, but yet I do not see my voice memos automatically syncing when I have manual sync selected. I also do not see a playlist folder or anything that indicates voice memos have transferred. Am I missing something? Is there no way to get voice memos onto the computer without having to autosync it?
If someone can provide more details on how to do this, that'd be great. But it seems at this point that I cannot get voice memos onto my computer through iTunes with manual sync on.

  • I asked " how do I get my songs from my itunes library to my ipod?" and you said to sync to ipod.  Now, I did see that on the left hand side, but now it's gone.  What do I do? I tried "file" and sync, but it did not do anything.

I asked, "how do I get my songs from my itunes library to my ipod?" and you said to sync it to the ipod.  I saw that at one time on the left side, but it's not there anymore.  I tried clicking on "file" and then on sync, but it didn't work.  The word was lighter than the others, so I figured I would not be able to click on it.

If the iPod is no longer recognized in iTunes click here.  iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

    Hey kbert73
I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.
