How do you get rid of a locked .apvault sitting on an OS10.3.9 iMac?

My vault is on an external drive.
Thinking that I should backup the vault, I transferred a copy to my iMac running 10.3.9.
The folder is now locked and won't let me get rid of it.
When I select "Get Info", the "Locked" check box is greyed out.
Any solution?

Further down in the 'Get Info' dialog, is the 'Ownership and Permissions' section also greyed out? If not, then try changing the permissions there.
If that doesn't work, you can use the Terminal app and Unix to set the permissions recursively throught the Aperture library. If you need to do that, I'll tell you how.

Lock symbol is rotation lock : depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can lock rotation either by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. Sorry, that isn't the only purpose of the Master Password feature, "locking" your Saved Password dialog from being viewed.

This issue can be caused by a plugin or an extension that is not compatible with Firefox 3.6 and isn't working properly anymore.

My project's start time is 8-bars before any material, or tempos, or anything...
Can't move the start time back to ")" (zero)    STUCK!! at -8
The song now has 20 seconds of dead air time in a pre-roll.
None of these worked or revealed anything...
-tried making a new copy of song
-looked into every track's file information looking for a spurious entry
-tried deleting the time/space

The text in FCP has no black background. You put it on top of whatever you want and the background is transparent.

I added a program that somehow put the search engine "searchqu" on my computer. How do you get rid of it? I looked up in the web engines and it is not listed. A blog board I read says it is coming through google chrome that it has to be uninstalled... any ideas?

Searchqu gets installed if you don't opt-out of the installation when you install a 'free' app from bandoo.com which provides free emoticons.
If you have this app on your system now, uninstall it first, otherwise searchqu will reappear again after you complete the following steps.

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
What are you clicking on..."Delete" or "Delete and Close Gap"?
"Delete and Close Gap" may not work if there is content directly above or below the place where you want to delete and close gap.
In that case, you use the mouse cursor to close the gap. Also please read some situations where Delete and Close Gap fails.
