How do you get rid of scan lines found on the iphone screen?

I have a black iphone 4s. It was working perfectly fine until a week ago where i noticed small "scan lines" towards the middle and bottom of the screen. I am also seeing small red specks in pictures. Sounds like your display is dying. Bring your phone to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

How do I get rid of annoying popups even after the proper settings have been checked?

Popup blocker is on but I still get annoying popups. When I use Google Chrome I do not get any popups. I tried for hours to get rid of these and also have asked questions with no answers.....I guess if you people cant help I'll have to resort to making GOOGLE CHROME my default browser....thats how bad the popups are!

I don't play hearts, but I do play Solebon Solitaire. I play the iPhone version on my iPad, but I see that they have a pro version for the iPad.

probably didn't buy it cause I already had one. Anyway, lots of games, actually programmed so that you can win every once in a while. I really like it.
For Hearts, I'd look at reviews and ratings. That often gives you an indication if the app is any good or not.

I am getting annoyed by the site-specific icons that appear next to the location bar. I thought there was a way to disable these icons but I cannot find it. Is there any way to get rid of these icons on my screen?

You can set these prefs to false on the about:config page.

To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

I did an update on my iPhone from iTunes and now the I only have one screen on my phone that has a picture of the iTunes app and the USB cord. I have plugged and unplugged my phone. I have tried to turn it off. I have turned off my computer, but I only get the same screen. What can I do to get my phone to work properly again?

When I open a page in Safari, there is a bar to the left side that obscures some of the text on the page. It contains icons for different ways of sharing a page, such as Facebook, tweet etc. I would like to make them go away. But they seem stuck there.

The text in FCP has no black background. You put it on top of whatever you want and the background is transparent.

Lock symbol is rotation lock : depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can lock rotation either by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. I added a program that somehow put the search engine "searchqu" on my computer. How do you get rid of it? I looked up in the web engines and it is not listed. A blog board I read says it is coming through google chrome that it has to be uninstalled... any ideas?

Searchqu gets installed if you don't opt-out of the installation when you install a 'free' app from bandoo.com which provides free emoticons.
If you have this app on your system now, uninstall it first, otherwise searchqu will reappear again after you complete the following steps. 
To revert to Google as your preferred search engine, please do the following.
