I connected my macbook to my tv using a HDMI cord. I'm trying to watch netflix but the sound plays from my macbook. How do you get the music to play from the tv instead.

The adapter to HDMI doesn't carry sound from a MacBook earlier than the Mid 2010 models and most TVs don't have separate RCA input plugs for audio with the HDMI inputs since they expect the sound to be carried by the HDMI plug. With HDMI you'll need to use external speakers or headphone jack to RCA sound plugs connected to a stereo sound system if your TV doesn't have separate RCA input plugs for audio with the HDMI plug.

Before you erase your phone, you need to first delete the iCloud account, sign out of FaceTime & iMessage. If you don't, this phone will still be linked to your Apple ID. Once you do that: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings.
But, delete iCloud & turn the other stuff off first...important you do this.

You'll want to copy all your music on your flash drive over to your empty iTunes library first. Once you have successfully done that, plug your Nano in and choose the Erase and Sync option as long as you are 100% positive that all the content on your Nano is now in your iTunes library.
The Erase and Sync operation will wipe all content from the iPod, associate the iPod with the new iTunes library, and then allow you to sync content back to the Nano from iTunes.

The only way to remove the restrictions without having to restore the phone is to remember the restrictions passcode. There is no way to bypass it, unless, as stefejobsfan points out, you have a backup that was made before the restrictions were put in place.
If it could be easily bypassed, it wouldn't be worth squat.

It is strange that disk utility is missing.. but it is not usable anyway.. The TC (I presume what you mean by Time Machine) is a network drive. Disk Utility only works with local drives.
You open the airport utility and go the disk page and click the erase.. use only a quick erase otherwise it takes forever.

This might seem minor, but in Screen saver, how do you change the photos from your iPhoto that are those predetermined files on System Preferences?

I am trying to get new photos or images into the files (or whatever they are) on Screensaver that load when you screen saver becomes active. How exactly do you do that?
