You can go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores (or just Store on earlier iOSs) and sign out of one ID and sign into another one.

How do you add personal photos and music to an Ipad 2?
Does anyone know how to add photos, mp3 files to an Ipad 2? Is it routinely done through Itunes? And if so, what if I don't want to sync my Itunes with my Ipad, as I use the itunes for my IPod and don't need the duplication. Is it possible to use a USB transfer between a PC and or an IMac? Anyone with info, Please help.

RoryYou can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit for photos & movies.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import.

my ipod was registered to my old computer which i no longer have. I now have a new computer and would like to add songs to my ipod however when i try to import songs to my ipod i get an error message that states, "This ipod is registered to another computer." Does anyone know how i can import new songs to my ipod without losing all the songs currently on my ipod?
This really isn't an iTunes Store question and would have been better asked in the iPod classic forum, but anyway, you'll need to reformat your iPod to use it with Windows. See:

I received the new iPod Nano with the touch screen for Christmas. I have a MacBook Pro running OS 10.5.8. I have iTunes 10 on my system. I cannot drag and drop MP3 files from iTunes to my iPod--though it appears that iTunes recognizes my iPod--it shows up on the Devices menu on the left side of iTunes. My wife--a long-time Mac user--kidded me that I didn't know what I was doing, Then she tried to load my iPod and failed as well. Any suggestions?
Is the Manually manage music and videos option enabled from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes?

I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first. -

My ipod touch 4th generation was being really slow and crashing on almost every app. I have had it for 1 and a half years. I decided to back everything up and restore it . This worked almost flawlessly; the problem is that i have lost my apps and music.I still have my photos and contacts and the background is the same and the wifi automatically connected. You only get one download of music and videos and it is up to you to back it up. Music, videos and the apps themselves (app data is) are not part of the backup and is synced to your iPod at the end of an update. It appears the the apps and music were not in your iTunes library and thsu would not be restored to your iPod. -

I have three kids with different ipod. My oldest has had hers and already has an itunes account. My other two just got theirs.When i set them up it was not able to use same apple ID (email). Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
Settings>GameCenter
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.
