How do you get your photos in the right order?

On screen, the photos are in the correct order. I have named them in numerical order i.e. trip1, trip 2, etc.. But when I run a slideshow or put them on a CD/DVD they are all out of order. Any ideas?

If you are willing to manage your photos in iPhoto and transfer the albums you create in iPhoto to your iPhone (using iTunes), I think you will find that an easy solution is available.
In iPhoto, locate the image that you want to insert into an album (or albums); for example, you may locate the image in an event, or it may be in one or more "Faces" categories, or it may already be in an album, etc. Then, drag the image into any album. Repeat to insert the image into other albums.

You don't. Apps from iTunes are for iOS devices. Apps for the Mac come from the Mac app store. Click the apple >> app store.

You have to use outlook in order to integrate contacs with PC, since that is the only program that syncs with cloud. Or you can use a "poor man's" version, by accessing those contacts over www.icloud.com website and managing there.

prior to ios 5, they were organized by date taken. no they are random. some talk online was that they were organized by filename. Mine are completelyreandom.

This is the iPhoto fourm. Iphoto is a Mac-only Photo Manager. You seem to using an iPhone or iPad? You need to post on the forum for that device.

Please follow the below steps.
In the Finder, navigate to your iPhoto package file. By default, it's located in /Users/[user name]/Pictures, and it's called iPhoto Library.
Control-click the iPhoto Library file and choose Show Package Contents.
A Finder window opens that shows the contents of the package file. The Masters folder contains all of the photos that are in iPhoto.
Control-click the folder named Masters and choose Duplicate.
Drag the folder named "Masters copy" from the iPhoto Library Finder window to your Desktop and then you can import the pictures to Photoshop from the desktop.

Tried getting some help earlier today but didn't have much luck. Some apple gooroos couldn't understand why I can't get my Itunes on my new Iphone 5 (replacement for the one my wife put in the washing machine). I sensed some frustration from those who could not help. Perhaps this new version of Itunes may be the problem? For those of you who were not involved earlier, my new phone will not pick up my itunes. Yes I am under the 5 unit limit, yes I have synced with I cloud, yes my new device is set up for auto download for music, yes I have tried syncing with my mac and my Itunes page.   Nothing works, not even a new song purchase. I can see the music, just cant get it to go to music so I can listen to it.

I think there is a misconception here. You need to sign into your iPHone with the same Apple ID as you used for the purchases on your computer. Then you should see the past purchased content on your iPhone to redownload.

After you restore your iPod how do you get your photos back?

I restored my iPod Touch and I didn't realize I would lose all my photos. I thought they would be on iTunes..... Is there any way of getting them back?? I had some pretty special pictures on there.

Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and see if you have a backup . Look at the date to see if it would have the photos.

I can not remember my apple I'd password and the email address that I used to have no longer exists so they send the information there and I can't get it. Did you create an entirely new ID or did you just change the Gmail address to a new email address on your existing ID?
