I got my ipod touch screen fixed 2 months ago and now the screen is black what should I do the only way I know that it on is if I plug it in and it makes the noise but I cant see anything

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, take it back to where you got i "fixed" before. Apple will not help

Go to Settings>Notifications and turn alerts/sounds on for the app(s) in question. Not all apps have all options.
