How do you handle Old Time Radio (OTR) shows in iTunes?

I collect OTR shows, free from Internet Archive.
1. If you do as well
2. How do you put them into iTunes? As music or possibly audiobooks?
3. How do you signify it is OTR.
Currently I have them as Music, with "OTR" in the Genre list. But that really is not a genre and was hoping to get sone better ideas.

It's up to you, though you cannot edit the catagories list and won't be able to have OTR up next to music, audiobooks, and movies. The few plays I have I separate into genres. They aren't an audiobooks to me since they are plays, usually not a reading of the original book itself.

How do you delete old time machine back ups?

I have a 2009 iMac (currently on Snow Leopard) that has been using Time Machine (TM) to back up to a 2009 Time Capsule (TC) since new. I have a 2011 Macbook Pro (currently on Snow Leopard soon to be Lion) that I would like to begin backing up using TM to the TC as well. The problem is that I recently did one back up of the MBP to the TC and it used almost all of the remaining space on the TC. Going forward the iMac has continued to back up to the TC creating space by deleting it's oldest back ups. The MBP however says there is not enough space to back it up. I am guessing that the TM for the MBP is unable to delete old back ups of the iMac to create space and since there is only 1 back up of the MBP it cannot delete that.
So... long story short is it okay for me to go into the TC to delete old back ups of the iMac manually and if it is how do I do that?

Open your Hard Drive and look for the Time Capsule icon under the SHARED heading. Click the TC icon and a folder will appear to the right. Double click this folder.
You should now see a xxxxx.sparsebundle file for each of the computers that have been backing up. The file contains the name of the computer and the MAC address so you should be able to easily identify the xxxxx.sparsebundle file that you want to delete.
Click the xxxxx.sparsebundle file to highlight it and then click the gear shaped icon just above and select Move to Trash.
Be very careful since you will not be able to retrieve the file if you make a mistake and delete the wrong file.

I've been using Real Player as my main audio player and recently switched to iTunes. I cannot get iTunes to recognize and play any of my RealPlayer audio files. When I try to 'add files' it will not let me access anything past the Music folder.

As I know, iTunes supports M4A format the best. And this format is also developed by Apple Inc. If you do want to play your old realplayer mp3 files on iTunes, you'd better use some audio converter to make a simple conversion. Unfortunately, in your case, there isn't really a way to separate them as far as I can think.
You could try restoring from a backup, and choosing an older backup perhaps

How do you handle multiple at the same address?

My wife just got an iMac. She is using the Birthday feature in Address Book and iCal to track our friends and family birthdays and anniversaries.
Question:
How do you track it when multiple people are at the same address? For instance, our friends are a family of four, but they all live at the same address. Do you need to make a separate Address Book card for each of them, even the 1 year old baby? Or can you track multiple people in a single card with custom fields?
If you do need to make multiple cards, then how do you handle mailing lists? For instance, if I make separate cards for all four of them, how do I make sure I only send on Christmas card when I use my Mac to print labels?

This is really an issue that you're going to have to resolve yourself since Apple's address book isn't really built with this in mind - darn it. For me there are three scenarios. First, a singleton. No problem. Second a family for which all members share the same information - acquantences to whom I don't send birthday greetings. These get one card and I'll put in both (or all) their names in the first name field (as in Bob and Jean). If there are children, in the last name field I'll add 'and Ken' or 'and the kids'. Third, a family for which some fields are different - perhaps cell phone number, birthday, etc.
For mailing purposes, I create a holiday group and put the people I'll be sending cards to into the group.

LOL.. pull the old one out.. put the new one in. Setup the new one.. do not copy setting from the old one.. it is better to start over and never copy configuration files.. although you might get away with it.
Plug the old TC into the new one.. change it to bridge mode.
You can then access and copy old backups to the new TC if you want. Although IMHO just keep the old TC for 6months. .then wipe it and sell it or use in different role. Do start clean fresh backups on the new TC.
If that is all useless. ask the specific question and we can try for a specific answer.

If an application is using the apex authentication scheme, how do you handle change in user names if folks get married or divorced. The reason I ask the question is that all of apex uses v('app_user'), which is the user_name. If I have transactions done by this user and then their name changes, which means so does their id, how do I get all of their transactions, before and after the name change. Traditionally I would expect to use user_id, not sure if this feature is still available. I can always create a custom auth scheme, but that is a lot of additional work. Any ideas?

I plan on doing the following to use user_id for auditing of transaction records:
1. Get the user_id to use in the tables audit trail fields
user_id := apex_util.get_user_id(v('app_user'));
OR
user_id := apex_util.get_current_user_id;
2. If a user changes their name then use
apex_util.set_last_name(p_user_id, p_new_lastname);
apex_util.set_username(p_userid, p_new_username);

The third text field is blank, and I would like for the radio button next to it greyed out (user can't click on it) since the text field is blank. Is this possible to achieve? I'm assuming I'll have to use javascript, but what would the code be and would it be entered in the javascript editor for the text field or the radio button?

If you don't see the radio icon on the home screen, it is likely just turned off in the settings. Go to

It did serve to definitively answer my most pressing
question, however, with this statement:

messages it sends and their destinations. When a response event
arrives, it can look up the origniatorID to determine whether it
