How do you host your external videos for good interactive PDF playback? Recommendation needed.

I'm trying to find out a good solution for adding externally hosted video content to an interactive PDF.
I understand that Vimeo/YouTube is out so I'm hoping to host content with a dedicated (payed service) video host.
Does anyone have a recommendation of a good video host for this purpose or indeed any tips/pitfalls in doing it this way?
The document needs to be lightweight so I can't embed videos.

The also have a program called iPartition that does non-destructive partitioning very well. Coriolis Systems seems to do an excellent job writing their software in a way that respects OS X. Check out their website for a demo and a list of features.
I use the online defrag (it's quick and easy) once a week or so, and every three weeks or month I run a full defrag. To do a full defrag you need to either start up from another drive with iDefrag on it (I use my external Firewire drive) or burn a CD using the included utility to start up from.
I've been very impressed with this software and have found it invaluable for installing BootCamp on some laptops that had fairly full HDs where otherwise Boot Camp would say it couldn't partition.
iDefrag also optimizes the order of files on the disk and places metadata at the start of the drive for quick access. You can specify or create custom optimization algorithims if you have particular needs that vary from the norm.

It sounds like you to 5 separate videos. If you start recording, then stop it, then start it again, you will have 2 videos. Not 1. As for splicing them together, you will need a video editing package for your PC. I don't know if Windows Movie Maker (or whatever they're calling it now) can handle this or not. On a Mac, I'd say just use iMovie.

Go to appleid.apple.com, click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.

I have had one email address as my Apple ID for App store, itunes and icloud for all my devices (MacBook pro, iMac, iPhone4 and iPad2). Recently I changed nettwork/internett operators and now I have big problems with my icloud. My old email address and password has been shut down, and I had to create a new adress and password. I successfully change my Apple ID and password for itunes and App store, but I can't change my Apple ID for icloud. I am told that if I want to close down my icloud account on my MacBook Pro data will be lost. (I have stored my documents on icloud too) I keep getting a popup on my screen saying there is a problem with my Apple ID (the old email address) and that I should fill in my password. If I fill in the password for this icloud ID (also my old Apple ID for App store and itunes, I keep getting the message that it is invalid. How do I get into icloud to manage and edit the Apple ID for icloud so that it works on my mac and all the other devices I have?

You can't change your ID if it's a me/mac address, otherwise;
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)

How do you connect your external monitor(s)?

More frequently I'm using an external monitor when working on Arch Linux, so I made this script, which works ok for now. This is a simple approach for this kind of stuff I think, so I'm wondering what you people out there are using to connect your external monitors. I guess there's a bunch of people in this community that are using two (or more) monitors? Please post your beloved script or name the package you are using. I would also be happy with some feedback or tips on my script.

When I'm at home I connect my laptop to my TV and use that as the only screen. I have mapped the screen fn-key to this script:

How do you get your own videos or movies in iPod 5th Gen

Is it not possible to put our own movies into an iPod? I own my movies, just as I own my music...but I can't figure out how to get any of my movies into my iPod. Or do you have to buy all movies thru iTunes in order to play them on the iPod...???

Hi all,
I am realy stuggeling to make ui's for my softwares to give my users a nice visual experience.
I started to learn c# and winforms some years ago and i have huge problems to make the switch to xaml.
Now i pretty much use the pre made templates in visual studio such as the Hub App and i do small modifications.
How do you non designers handle your ui without hiring a designer?
Are there any place where you can buy cheap pre made ui templates i can use as a starting point?
I also followed the course design your ux in blend but i can't say i got the hang of it with just one course.
Are there more courses or tutorials anyone can recomend me about making ui's in blend?
Are there any other easier tools to make nice looking xaml ui beside blend? Maybe something not as advanced as blend and more visual drag and drop?
Any tips,tutorials,courses,websites or any other thing that you used when learning to make a nice xaml ui are more than welcome.

Editing the position of a floating window video for an interactive PDF

I'm fairly new to InDesign CS5's interactive features, so forgive me if I'm making a blatant mistake. However, everything I have read about floating windows says that you can easily adjust the size and position in the Interactive PDF options dialog and I am not able to. I have no problem getting the video to play in a floating window, the problem is that I am unable to change the position settings. It is locked as "centered" though when I view the PDF, the window pops up in the upper right and extends beyond the frame of my window. How do I unlock the position settings and get it to actually play centered?
I have tried this using a placed .mov video and I also tried converting it to a F4V file, because I read those worked better, but still no luck.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any solutions?

All my music, songs, video got erased but my ipod is showing that i have 15GB in use and 13.26GB left, but i don't have any music, photos. etc... no data at all. So how can this be?
