How do you keep different quantities of podcasts?

I would like to keep the last three of one podcast, but all of another. Is that possible? When I change the settings, it changes for ALL podcasts.
Please, some one help!!

There is also another option that will allow you to not have to manually delete episodes of podcasts you don't care to keep after you've listened.
When you're in the Podcast library, click on Settings. Change the option in the Keep dialogue to whatever option you want for the podcasts you are automatically deleting. Click OK. This WILL change the setting for all your podcasts, but go to the next step to make sure you save all episodes of those you want to keep longer than the setting you just changed.
Now, in your Podcast library, highlight all the podcasts that you DO NOT want to be auto-deleted (you can highlight non-sequential podcasts by holding in the Command/Apple key while clicking on the podcast titles). Once they are highlighted, Right-click and choose Do Not Auto Delete.
Hope this helps make your deleting/keeping process easier and more automatic!
The only downside to this method (and, I think, something Apple ought to consider adding to new versions of iTunes) is that you can't keep the last 3 episodes of one podcast, the last 6 of another, all of another, and only the most recent of others by using the built-in Keep feature. Hopefully that will change in the future!

Events are organised strictly on date and time, as read by iPhoto from the Exif data in the Photo. You cannot manually sort.
Create Albums. You can do much more organising with Albums, use Photos from different events, place them as you will. Best of all, Albums use no disk space at all. They simply reference the file on the Hard Disk. So a pic can be 1, 10 or 100 Albums with no wasted disk space whatever.

Make a different apple-ID
If you don't want to use iCloud:
Just go to iCloud in settings (on both iPhones) and switch off what you don't want to share with iCloud (and the other iPhone)

The first time an iPhone is connected to iTunes that is used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device or to set up the iPhone as a new iPhone.
The former does as provided - it transfers the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the iPhone replacing all data on the iPhone that is included with the backup being transferred. The latter does nothing allowing you to make your various selections for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
This is designed to be done right away with a new iPhone.
If you don't have a backup for the iPhone with iTunes on your computer and don't have an iCloud backup that hasn't been updated since choosing to transfer the backup for your iPod Touch to the iPhone, the data that was on the iPhone is gone.

A good example is if you are forced to change your email, which you use as your Apple ID. what if it is a security app and you lose a lot of data if you lose the app? Why are the apps tied to the Apple ID rather than the user? Why is it impossible to globally change the Apple I D?

All content is tied to the account, but you can change the primary email address on an account e.g. you can log into your account via the Store > View Account on your computer's iTunes and there should be an Edit button to the right of your account id on your account's page, or similarly on your iPad try tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and view your account. Or you can update it by logging into it via this page http://appleid.apple.com . You shouldn't lose any content on the account if you update it.
After updating the account you may need to log out of your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated version for it to be 'refreshed' on it

How do you stack different photos in the editor layers pallet? I can get different photos in the editor, but I cannot figure out how to get different photos into the layers pallet at the same time. Please help!!!!!

Just to clarify, you can never see the layers panel for more than one photo at a time. The suggestions you got will show all the photos, but because they are now combined as layers in one image.
If you want to see more photos in the editor at once, go to the preferences>general and turn on Allow Floating Documents, then go to Window>Images>Float all in windows, then Cascade or Tile.
But you will still only see the layers panel for the image that is active at the moment.

7. On your PC go to the VPN Client > updates folder. Delete the update_config file if its already there. This folder should have only autoinstall (this file will be added if update works) autoupdate header files.
The update does take about 5 mins. To see the new file we have to close and reopen the client. Once connected make sure you are able to browse to the webserver and see all the files.
1- Auto update runs only on Windows 2000 and Windows XP, all other client types update manually. Windows NT users get notified and can get an update manually from the update server.
2- Remote users must have the VPN Client for Windows 4.6 or greater installed on their PCs to use the automatic update feature.

How do you set different volumes on dual mono?

I'm missing something, I'm sure, right? I normally record a mic to a channel and NAT sound to another channel - so say for example, I might mic up a presenter on stage, and take that feed into Channel 1 (external source) and leave my on-cam mic set to internal for Channel 2 - so I can bring that up in the edit for either Q&A from the audience or just to swell applause. In FCP7 audio tracks showed dual mono as two tracks with individual overlays so you could adjust each channel as needed. In X I only see a single track of dual audio, and in the information box, I can check or uncheck the channel I want - and a lot of times, that's good enough, but how do you keep both channels and adjust the volume of each one seperately?

So to make sure I am clear though, (my audio was always dual mono, and in the inspector they are represented as two seperate tracks where I have the option to check or uncheck each one), but the timeline, they appear as a single track and in your solution (which worked) you are saying to break apart (as in make them seperate from each other and able to fall out of sync? that kind of break apart?) it still worked I was able to see two tracks, similar to FCP7 - and I can adjust volume seperately on each channel, but are they no longer linked in terms of sync? If I am understanding correctly, then is that to say there is no way to keep their connection to the video they belong to and also still see each channel and adjust each channel independently of the other?

When I sync my photos they are listed alphabetically (by folder) and within the folders, listed alphabetically again by the name assigned to the photo. The only way I can think of to keep the order that you have in your computer would be to assign a letter as a prefix to each photo. If you have more than 26 photos in a folder, you can double the letters, etc. I think that will keep the photos in the order you want.

If you are burning an audio CD, they will burn in sequential order as in your playlist.
If you are burning an MP3 CD or a data CD, they will burn as individual files, and can be sorted any way you like when you view the CD. For an MP3 CD, the files will be prepended with a sequence number, so if you sort by filename, they will be in the original order.

If, by "shrink" ... you mean by using the AppSizer, the
answer is "not really". You can configure AppSizer to a defined
size, then with the mouse pointer double-arrowed on the "edge" of a
window, right-click and your window-size selections will appear in
the AppSizer "list" (that you set up) and can be selected there.
But there is no re-scaling of the window contents, if that is
what you mean, so the smaller window may now require scrolling.
But keep in mind that if you use the recording option for
"Software Simulation" > "Custom Size", you can then snap the
application window to that size...

Something you need to understand. Unless you are using the latest version of Photoshop Elements, it's possible that some of the adjustments that you make in Lightroom won't transfer to Elements if you choose the option to open anyway. If you choose the option to edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments then Lightroom will create a TIF or PSD file (depending on your preferences), and that file will include all of the adjustments that you have made using Lightroom. Then you can finish your work in Photoshop Elements.
The process of transferring an image from Lightroom to Photoshop or Photoshop Elements involves the Camera Raw plug-in. It has to be used to interpret the Lightroom adjustments and apply those adjustments to the image after it has been converted. Files open in Elements or Photoshop or no longer raw images because those programs are incapable of editing raw image data. I don't know if this will help you in this situation. Feel free to ask if you have more questions.

For documentation I use onenote which is synced to my owncloud server so i can use it when ever needed. I also use a mix of wundlerlist and spiceworks to keep track of all my to do items and issues and requests. My number one recommendation is find the best way that works for you documenting and make sure to stick to it. Writing or typing it down will make sure that you retain what you did that day!
