Is the email asking for private information?
Are there grammer and spelling errors in the email?
Do the email headers show the email is not from Apple?
Is the email offering a get rich scheme?
Is the email asking for money?
Is the email asking for your password?
If you were expecting an email from Apple and it is not asking for private information it may be a legitimate email. Otherwise it may be phishing.

Thanks, that was my problem originally. When using a fieldref I had to set the base context to variables.user i.e.
baseContext=':variables.user'
And in workflow I had to preface variable names with the name of the object I checked the view out into.
What I really wanted to know how to have multiple views open in a form if possible. I'd like to be able to manipulate user and role objects in the same form when editing users in a specific org.

This may sound daft - but how do you know what classes to use to do a particular task ? For example to do password-related stuff - how would I know which classes are all relevant to that ? Am I supposed to buy a book on the classes as the API documentation doesn't really tell you WHEN to use which classes.

If you're using JSP, then your password field is likely going to be implemented in HTML. So that's nothing to do with Java. (And you can't use a JPassword field in a JSP page.) But when that field comes back to your server, you may be using Java to authenticate it. Even there, the question is not yet what Java method you are going to use, but what methodology. You could have a database to authenticate against, or an LDAP directory. Or you could have the web server use its built-in authentication, which means you don't have to do any Java coding at all. And there are other ways.
So the question before yours is, how do you know what methodology to use? Again, that comes down to experience.

How do you backup users emails?

Hello,
I wanted to know how do you backup users emails? We have around 30 users and they are using Outlook 2010 & Thunderbird to access POP/SMTP emails from hosting email server. Since they are using pop so their emails are stored locally on D: drive of their
systems. I want to backup them on our file server.
Any easy automated backup solution for this?

If you are using Exchange you could try backup on Exchange server side.

How do you change the email used to send the security answers you have forgotten? I have changed the alternative email adress in Name, ID and Email Addresses but this does not change the email address in the Password and Security section.

Jus what do you want to accomplish? The Apple ID email address is used for variosu thing onthe iPod like:
- For purchasing media. Srrings.iTunes and App stores. Sing out and sign into anoterh account
- Settings>iCLoudl for iCloud account
- Settings>FaceRome for Apple ID and where You can Be Reached At email address

Not sure what you mean. Deleting a POP account only deletes the messages stored in the account’s mailboxes, not any messages stored in custom “On My Mac” mailboxes, if that’s what you mean. It’s not that Mail goes after your mail trying to delete as much as it can. It’s just that if a mail account is deleted, then its mailboxes cannot exist anymore...
That said, instead of deleting the account right away, you can just disable it (i.e. turn OFF Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > Enable this account), leave it that way for some time, and delete it only after making sure you didn’t miss anything while the account was disabled.
BTW, if you back up your data, and the ~/Library/Mail folder in particular, you won’t have to worry about accidentally losing anything as a result of doing something like that...
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. That is, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder, i.e. /Users/username/Library.

I have a iphone 4 and today it started piling up over 4000 undeliverable messages for no apparent reason. I somehow managed to stop the process but I am left with over 4000 messages that I need to delete. How do you remove multiple email messages at one time. Just figured it out - I can select multiple messages as you suggested when I am not in full screen mode.
So once I come out of full screen mode - then the multiple windows open.

Yes, there are even defaults for naming them, such as LivingRoom, Bedroom, etc, or you can even enter your own name with the remote for each AppleTV.

I'm a brand new Iphone user and I have a question about apps. I only have the smallest data plan. I'm wondering how do you know if your app (or any app you download) once opened connects to the internet?
For instance I have a Netflix subscription. When I hit the Netflix app is that connecting to the internet? When I watch a movie or tv in my own que is that still on the internet?

As a general rule, if the app stores all of its data locally on your phone, a data connection is not needed for that app to function properly. If the app does not store data locally on your phone...streaming apps(Netflix), the built in Maps app, etc., a data connection will be required for the app to function properly. You can minimize your cellular data usage by only using such apps when connected to available WiFi. You also have the ability to turn cellular data completely off in settings: Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data>Off. Best to completely read an apps description before installing such on your phone. If a data connection is required for the app to function, it will state such in the app's description.
