How do you link games to the games center?

Really confused trying to link farmville and nothing is happening please help

This had me stumped for a while as well. Games you have or acquire will not show-up in Games Center until you run the individual games/apps directly, then they will appear in your Games Center games list display.

Our family has 4 apple products all assigned to one apple id. When my son set up his game center account it link all of your games together. We have tried many times to delete it without any luck. Is there any way to delete in with out wiping out his data and purchases from the games?

Game center can not be deleted. Move it to a folder for unused apps.

I have never used Game Center. However, most times when I open a solitaire game that I purchased on iTunes having 0 to do with Game Center, Game Center (obnoxiously) loads and asks that I join or login or whatever. Altough I hit cancel, that is not sufficient. I have found no means in Tools to disable Game Center.
Is there no way to stop Game Center from loading??? (behavior same in both OS 6 & 7)

The me.com website is not designed for or intended to be accessed by iOS devices. Apple provides support in iOS or seperate Apps for accessing all aspects of MobileMe except for the Accounts section.
Use MobielMe as intended and you'll have no problems.

Even if you use a different browser to get access to me.com on iOS, you'll find most of it is unusable.
Other websites that present you with the mobile version have been programmed to do so by their developers. They specifically look for users accessing from 'mobile' devices and switch to the mobile site. Many such sites provide a link to go back to the 'full' site, if not, there's not a lot you can do except use a browser that can pretend not to be a mobile browser.

HT4314 How do you open game center games?

I know I must be overlooking something. I cannot open my games in the game center. I click on the game and it asks if I want to share or challenge someone. I just want to play my games.
Also, I copied my apps/games from my ipad and iphone onto my new macbook pro and synced both devices. I see all of the apps inside my iTunes account. I highlight the app and nothing happens. Can you NOT use your iPad and iPhone apps on your macbook pro?
I was under the impression that you can use everything across all platforms.
Please advise.

Mac (any flavor) = OS X
iOS is not OS X and they are not interchangeable.

How do you save "game state" so the user can continue next time?

I'm not sure what the correct game terminology is for this, but how do you save "game state" so the user can continue next time?
This seems like a pretty important feature for building some games, we don't want users to have to start over everytime.
Any ideas if this is possible?

This will help you understand how to store the data. When the app starts up again get the state information from the persistencemanager and reset you game to the state you need. It requires a bit of code for the startup, but it is relatively simple.

How to remove links pointing to the same page?

I have PDF documents with Links which point to sections referenced (e.g. link of text "Section 2.2" points to the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), but as the links are created from cross-references during rendition from Word to PDF, there are cases that the destination page number and source page number of the links are the same (e.g. links of text "Section 2.2" on page 9 are created with the destination of page 9 which is the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), I want to remove all these links, but I don't know how to get the destination page, I check the API reference and find that "PDLinkAnnotGetAction" may work , but I don't know how to use it, could you check me codes below and advise ? Then for each annot, you'll want to see which it has (and in the case of an Action, if it has more than one). Then you need to parse the action or dest to see what it is and where it goes. If you don't like it, then you'll delete it.

How do you link two text boxes in the new pages. The old one was much easier to use.

I think this is impossible! Ive been trying today and I couldnt do it. Then I opened up an old document that had text linking in it and I got a message telling me that the text boxes were now unlinked! Why would you remove that? For me this software is now useless. How on earth do I get my old version back?

I have asked this question before, but did not get the answer I needed. So I though for a bit and came up with a more understand able question and how to explain it and here it is:
What I want to know, is how can you link an online html link to an offline swf file? Now this is needed because people need to download the swf file in order to use it, I have tried this: file://swf/Lr1.swf (link), but it doesn't work it comes up with not found. So can any one help?

Personally I think you are going about this all wrong. I believe someone recommended to you in a previous post to look into the HTML5 ( http://forums.adobe.com/thread/874917 ) you need to end up creating the site with Adobe AIR as opposed to the way you are going about doing it. That would be creating an application like Tweetdeck that connects to the internet and uses interactive elements. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air.html
If you want to link a file within a Flash document you would receive a quicker and more in depth answer in the Flash forum as it will require ActionScript.

It sounds like you have a ton of ideas, but your lack of information suggests that 1. you don't have all the knowledge necessary to get the project off the ground and 2. your reluctance to share it suggests that you have an idea that you feel the program is proprietary. Given that this is the case you might be best served looking for an experienced Flash or AIR developer to help get your ideas going in motion. There is nothing wrong with trying to learn but the information you are giving up to go on is very broad and unfortunately it does not appear that you are getting the answers you are looking for.

First thing is I want to complain about this person here:  I had some questions on a product and called up and got Charly 1-20295539207. He was horribly incompetent. He took 30 minutes just to, "get my information" which only consisted of just email and name. How can it take 30 minutes for that????? But trust me, Charlie absolutely makes it easy to waste that much time and still not get an answer to your question. So after he spent 30 minutes gathering my, "info" (i.e. name and email) he told me he could not help me and to call back even though I told him 3 times up-front what I was calling about. All of the Sony reps are the absolute worst and they all have the same idiosyncracies, making you repeat your issue over and over and over and over being one of them. Then, after you tell them what the issue is - 4-5 times, they say, "How can I help you"????????? WHAT???? I JUST TOLD YOU 4-5 TIMES AND THEN THEY ASK SOME OBNOXIOUS AGGRAVATING QUESTION LIKE THAT?   You have to be kidding me? I am not making any of this up. It's absolutely abusurd and criminal how the sony reps are. So I asked him, IF YOU COULDN'T HELP ME WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT AT THE START AND WHY DID YOU WASTE 30 MINUTES OF MY TIME FOR NOTHING GATHERING, "ALL" OF MY INFO????? THEN you have to ask them over and over and over again the same question and they never will give you an answer but will then say, "HOW MAY I HELP YOU"!!!!!! Gary, I'm trying to save a Keynote presentation that was created from a Powerpoint presenation using PDF files.
It imported beautifully, problem is it won't play. Keeps giving me a "Keynote cannot play your slideshow because an error occured" message.
I thought it was a Powerpoint/Keynote incompatibility thing, so I recreated the presentation - 1 pdf per slide just like you have here (I did this before finding your post) and it still wouldn't play. I even tried JPG - nothing; just horrible looking images.
Is there something I'm missing?

Same way. Create a custom URL scheme for your app and use the "<urlscheme>://v1/folio/<folioname><articlename>" format. You can read more about this technique in DPS Tips > Advanced Overlays > Advanced Linking.
Note that this is an unsupported feature that has worked well for free folios but not well for retail folios.
