I have downloaded and paid for Ringtones but I cannot make them appear in the selection list? Can anyone advise how to do this?

If you purchased them on your computer, you have to connect your iPhone and make sure ringtone syncing is turned on in iTunes.

File > Place is the usual way, but there are times when cut and paste is fine or better.

How do you load external XML into a dataProvider?

I have been looking through the docs and have found a couple
of entries discussing how to load external XML. Unfortunately, that
is where the example stops and there is no example of doing
anything useful with that data.
I have managed thus far to get my XML file loaded into
actionscript/flex:

Tap Select (upper right hand corner)
Tap the pictures you want to add to an album (you'll see a check mark in each selected photo)
Tap Add To (upper left hand corner)
Your albums will appear and touch the album you want to move the picture to and they'll go there

How exactly to load new fonts into Gimp???

I've tried everything I can find in teh forums and the wiki to load fonts into Gimp 2.3. They just will not appear in the fonts dialog. It's driving me nuts.
Can someone please spell out exactly how to do this?
I've loaded the fonts into /root/.fonts - no go. I've loaded them into gimp's font dir - no go. I've run fontcache - no go.
I'm at my wits end.

You should put the fonts in your user's ~/.fonts (I hope that you don't run Gimp as root?). Then just run fc-cache -v to update the font cache and restart Gimp.
If you haven't modified /etc/fonts/fonts.conf, the entry <dir>~/.fonts</dir> should be listed there and thus the users ~/.fonts directory will be searched for fonts.

Please follow the below instructions.
In the Finder, navigate to your iPhoto package file. By default, it's located in /Users/[user name]/Pictures, and it's called iPhoto Library.
Control-click the iPhoto Library file and choose Show Package Contents.
A Finder window opens that shows the contents of the package file. The Masters folder contains all of the photos that are in iPhoto. However, Photoshop cannot access this folder.
Control-click the folder named Masters and choose Duplicate.
Drag the folder named "Masters copy" from the iPhoto Library Finder window to your Desktop. Now you can open images from the desktop in Photoshop.

I’ve created a PHP site and MySQL server using a free app called XAMPP. I have successfully created a form in Dreamweaver that will write data to a (name) table in the SQL database. Here’s my question: How do you write to two (or more) tables in the same database and pass the same primary key to both tables? In the SQL database, I defined the first field as ID and set it as the primary key with auto update. So, when you insert a new record, it creates a unique primary key for that record. In my form, I’m capturing info that needs to be stored to two tables at the same time; a Name table and Address table. Since the Name and Address tables use the ID field as the primary key, I believe I will need to pass the ID value from the Name table to the insert of the Address table to insure they both have the same primary key, right?

No. You probably need the primary key from one table to be a foreign key in the other tables. In any case, I believe you can use two methods to obtain the auto generated key. First with SQL:

I did find a tutorial on this. It was helpful. I am using Actionscript 3.0
Here is the code I used and it works. Except, I need to load another one after this one. Basically it is like a slide show of swf files. I need to play 3 swf files after another without any interaction by the user.
I am thinking I need to tell it to unload the first one and load the second one after the first one is finished and so on. I appreciate any advice.

How do you add new photos into an existing folder on iPhone 4S, without it jumbling the existing photos?

My wife and I just got our iPhone 4S a couple weeks ago. We've experienced a problem that I hope someone might be able to help with. When she sync'd her photos originally, it had them in the folders she wanted. Now, if she wants to add new photos to one of the existing folders, will it jumble all the photos up or will it keep them in the same folder?

You don't load them in, you need to put them in:
*System/users/your user name/library/application support/logic/Sampler instruments*
Restart Logic if it's running, they will then appear in the EXS library.
