How do you make a jmf application run on a computer without jmf installed?!

I can create a jar with a program i made using jmf. It works on my comp, but i realized tht it doesn't work on others computers because they don't have jmf installed. How do i incorperate the jmf in my jar so that it can run on any comp whether or not they have jmf installed.
Please help me asap, i really need to get this done.

So here's some more info, Not only have i never used a mac before, I don't really know how to use one, and my girlfriend is at school pretty far away right now, shes not good with computers either. So i don't wanna have to resort to asking her to install jmf on her macbook. If i do have to do that i guess i could get her friend to help her out.
But i'd still rather get this problem fixed. How do i incorperate jmf with my program, so it runs on all computers. I checked the native folder in SipCommunicator 1 release 2 and 3, but its only one dll file called ShellLink.dll
I checked everywhere in both of the downloads and i couldn't find any other dlls.
I must be downloading the wrong thing....

The reason i got the generic installer is because I have a vista, and i want to run this on a mac. I don't have or know any one living near me with a mac, so i need to be able to build it on my comp.

I have attached an example that uses the "Call Library Function Node" that accesses the "user32.dll" file that is responsible for manipulating with the windows such as minimising it.
After opening the VI you have to enter the name of the window you want to minimise, you can hard code that as a constant. Also on the front panel the control "nCmdShow" can be changed to dictate the action you want to do with the window.
Furthermore, please look at the Microsoft Developers Network to find more useful ways to use the property node in your project.

How do you make a .Desktop entry run as root?

I know in KDE you add "X-KDE-Username=root" but what do you need to add for Gnome users (there's nothing in the desktop-entry-spec )? So is there a setting for it or do I need to make a script to run the command with gksudo/kdesu depending on the desktop environment?

You can get a very nice upsampled result by using Photoshop CC's detail-preserving upsampling setting in the Image - Image Size dialog.

I was just curious if any body knew how to make a Java program that will open and run on a double click without java being installed on that computer. I've seen people mention that we can create a shortcut (though I'm not sure how) so that the program will run on a double click. I've also seen a link to a program that creates .EXE files but I would like to avoid using that.
I have a small group of friends that I would like to share one of my programs with, but they are not Java programmers and I don't want to clutter up their Hard Drive with the Java JDK or SDK.

First, make sure you package your program in a JAR file, will make things easier...
Under the folder you have the SDK installed on your computer, should be a folder named JRE.
Make a copy of the JRE in a folder underneath where your JAR file resides, for instance...
You Jar File is:
C:\JavaProgs\MyProject\TheJar.jar
Then put:
C:\JavaProgs\MyProject\JRE\...
In the C:\JavaProgs\MyProject\ directory, make a Batch file. Batch files are text document scripts that run windows commands. Just use a plain text editor and create a file called RunTheJar.bat.
The batch file should consist of exactly 1 line:
start .\JRE\bin\javaw.exe -jar TheJar.jarThen the users can just double-click the batch file to run your program...

How do you make an application open on a specific monitor? I have two monitors, and I was able to get Firefox to open on the secondary display always by resizing it with the option or command key [I forget which one] and then quitting it. Now everytime I start it, it opens on the second monitor.
However, when I try to do the same with QuickTime [when playing videos], it always opens on the primary display no matter what I do with it. How do I make it always open on the secondary display?

I would like to do so proactively when I am not using a certain program but need to keep it open, and I want to free up computer resources.
In other words, I want to keep a given program open, but stop it from "thinking".

There is an application that I can only open a set number of times before it expires. Every time the program closes, you get one less use out of it. I want to use it as long as possible, so I thought I would just keep it open all the time. However, it consistently turns on the fan on the computer, so I imagine it uses a lot of resources. I got the idea after the Force Quit program "paused" it once after getting overloaded with all the apps I had open. It stopped the fan, and I was able to open it and run it again later with no problems. The tricky thing with trying to intentionally overload the system is that it's a hit or miss on which open program the OS will pause (to my knowledge).

Ah - If you are just using bindings between various objects from Interface Builder, you can reduce your application code a bit (sometimes quite a bit), but there is only so far you can go. Typically variables and routines are defined in your application that Interface Builder hooks into, so that your application code (usually Objective-C, but can be others) can use these variables and routines to determine what is happening in the user interface.
I'm not sure how up-to-date the project code is (or what programming code you are familiar with), but you can take a look at Apple's Cocoa Application Tutorial to see what is (usually) involved in creating an application.

Try this:
1. Open "Finder", then navigate to "Movies" on the left side. Click on "iMovie Projects"
2. Move desired movies and clips to trash, or your flash drive.
*PS* Its dangerous to have a full hard drive, I would recommend either trashing, or transferring files to another computer. Trash applications you no longer use as well.
