my default document is the swf file. help me please.

You create your flash application in Flash Professional by creating new FLA file and editing it. The output (flash application) of this proces is SWF file. Which is then played by Adobe FlashPlayer.
When you test your project, the SWF file is exported and then opened by flashplayer.
FLA is your source file and you keep it on your computer for later editing.
SWF is your actual application and you deploy (copy) it on the server or wherever you intend to deploy your application.
If what you're trying to say is that you wish to debug your application, then test it not by pressing Ctrl+Enter, but Shift+Ctrl+Enter.

I changed "Move To Trash" to "Move to Trash" and selected a file. I had lost all hope, so I took a minute to prepare myself for yet another moment of deep frustration. Then I pressed F10, and bang! the file was trashed!!! It took me a couple minutes to actually believe what just happened. Thank you so much! If I could, I would "like" you as many times as I can physically hit the "Liked" button!
PS: what the heck is wrong with Apple though??? Wrong instructions, incorrect help instructions on their own site. The chances of figuring this out before having a nervous breakdown were like one in a million (approximately, I did not actually do the math). Last week, the keyboard and the trackpad stopped responding on my brand new macbook pro for a couple hours. I was not the only one with this problem. Apparently, this was from a design flaw, which means it could happen again at any time. iMovie doesn't work. TextEdit keeps crashing all the time. Emptying the trash can take hours.
Since 2000, I bought a PMac G4 Quicksilver, a used PMac G3 Blue, a used iBook G4, a used Pismo PBook G3, a used Graphite iMac G4, a used iMac G3 (green, 233MHz I think) and I already had more problems with this brand new macbook pro than will all the other macs combined... For such an expensive machine, with 16GB of RAM, that's a little dissapointing, especially from Apple. Maybe I'm just not lucky.

How do you make fonts back to default size in Firefox 24? They are blown way too big.

Since upgrading to Firefox 22 and 24, the font size has been extremely huge. The only way to make it smaller is ctrl - , but when I go to other sites the fonts are normal size.
I want to be able to get the default size font on the Firefox 24. I've been using Chrome because this has been so darned annoying, it's even causing Bing to screw up.
Can someone help me get this fixed?

This isn't the best way for it.
Coz my monitor isn't really big.(21.5')
It is very match for me by using 125%.
But for FF22(or above) is too big, and the photo will zoom in for 125%
that was a mess.
And Chrome has the function but it isn't default but adjust from "chrome://flags"

How do you make RealPlayer files?

I need to make RealPlayer files of my FCP movies. I downloaded Real Export Plug-in for Mac OsX from Real Networks. It is supposed to enable Quicktime Pro to export RealPlayer files. However it gives me a "export failed" message.
Anybody know about this?
I am running Panther and Quicktime 7.0.4. Real Export is supposed to be compatible with Panther but not Tiger.
I have Cleaner 5 and 6 but it seems like Cleaner won't convert to RealMedia unless I'm also running OS9, which I am not. I am looking into this further.
Bottom line: how can I make the RealPlayer files?

Are you running Tiger? I didn't install the Real Export Plug-in on my Tiger machine because RealNetworks said it was incompatible with Tiger. If you are running Tiger then maybe I should take the plunge.

I accidentally made Firefox my default browser thinking that you could change it back to not default. Is there a way to make a browser other than Firefox default when Firefox is currently default? (i.e. i want to know how to un-default Firefox.)

Don't mess with the registry keys, this part worked for me:
Check the default settings in:
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > "Set Program Access And Defaults" (on the left)
Open: Custom (click arrow on the right)
Select "Internet Explorer" under "Choose a default Web Browser"
Click OK

How do you make a portrait view that doesn't loose the pictures?

I'm trying to layout a portrait view book in iBooks Author and I don't understand why Apple doesn't include a template that doesn't lose the pictures when you change screen orientation. Seeing that 99.9% percent of all paper books in the world are in portrait view I would have expected this to be the default view rather than landscape view. Has anybody been able to make a portrait view book that retains the graphics and other bells and whistles or am I just banging my head against the wall?

In portrait mode the figures and things are always links down the side of the text. The only way I found to stop them disappearing was to insert them in portrait mode. They don't disappear when you change back to landscape, you just have to move them to wherever it is you want them to be. The best workflow is edit in portrait, then switch to landscape for formatting.

From the application used to print open the print dialog and click Oroperties or Preferences to access the Printing Preferences screen.
From the Layout tab set Page Order as Back to Front, then the first page will be printed first.

How do you make an image enlarge on hover, like on the new google image search?

Here's an example:

When you roll over the image it enlarges. I like it because you don't have to click anything, and you hover over a bunch of images without refreshing the page or having an obnoxious popup you have to close.
Is there a ways to create this in dreamweaver? Do you have to make 2 different image sizes (like in the dijointed rollovers)?

You have to insert a rollover object. Not sure what version you are working in. But you should have the option to select "insert", "Rollover Object" then you followi the guide. You will need to create 2 copies of your image - one that is smaller that will be your thumbnail and then the larger image. The first thing you will be asked for is an image ID - give it whatever name you want, but I recommend lowercase letters only. The 2nd thing will be to insert your thumbnail as a jpg and the you insert the larger image, again as a thumbnail. Don't forget to gill in the alternate id name as well - can be the same as your original id name.
THIS IS IMPORTANT
After you insert the image you must switch to code view and delete the size parameters that appear after the image.

The best way i can describe this is I want to link four buttons on my homepage to a page named 'services'. Each button refers to a different section on the 'services' page.
So what I want to happen is when I link each button, i want the user to be able to click on one and then be transferred to the 'services' page, but halfway down the page at the relevant paragraph or wherever the relevant section is.
How do you do this people?

I scanned documents into pdf files inorder to be able to read them from the computer. But parts of the document were not clear and hard to read. I figured out how to get higher resolution by converting it to a word document. But when it converted there were a lot of typos and the format changed. So I was wondering if there is any way to make the resolution higher, or just the document clearer overall, without converting it?
Any suggestion would be helpful.

You need to rescan at a higher resolution. My suggestion is to scan in your scanner's software. Scan to TIFF the import the file or files into Acrobat. The resolution needed depends upon the application. For most situations 300 dpi is more than enough.

And I was also wondering if you could alter the amount of time it takes for a loop to iterate, that way, if I wanted it to save every five hundred miliseconds, I could make it save every, say, ten iterations, and make the loop iterate every fifty ms.

Double check the file. I took the VI you posted in message #1, but it seems to be an older and incorrect version (problems with the reference wire being the datatype for the queue and a feedback node thrown in as well) that didn't match the image you have posted in message #1.

How do you make curve window smaller? Much better in the PS CC version then PS CC 2014 version

The size of the curve window is huge in comparison to all other previous versions. Any way to make is smaller? Looked through all the settings, and I have PS formated for smaller monitors already as well. Thank you!
