I am talking about something like the adobe site.
Like www.adobe.com/support/dreamweaver/whatever
How do you make a page be under another like the dreamweaver page is a link from the support page.
My goal is something like this.

I need
www.architecture.com/profile/Commercial
www.architecture.com/profile/Residential

If im understanding you correctly, you want the folder to have an automatic landing page. Ex. If your folder is
"profile" you want the visitor to see the first profile page when they visit www.yoursite.com/profile. Correct?
If thats what you need, name the page you want your visitor to see when they go to ex. www.yoursite.com/profile "index.html" or "index.php" ad save that file in your "profile" folder. When you're visitor will go to www.yoursite.com/profile the page you named "index" will open.
Let me know if you dont understand or if its not what your trying to do.

How do you stop 'Transferring Data from...' in toolbar on first page of a website - eventually stops but takes a minute then loases some images on a site when complete - other browsers are fine.

Only happens on index page of website - Firefox repeatedly says 'connecting to site/transfering data from site in the status bar for about a minute before finally 'done', then some images on the index page are missing. Printing emails or pages from websites Firefox only will print the first page. Any suggestions?

Printing from email (Yahoo and a Rogers webmail) is not working properly. Only P 1 will print, even if "all" is selected in the print window. The print window defaults to "page 1 to 1" and nothing will change it. Docs from "MY Documents" print properly. In Explorer, printing is correct.

Use -help for a list of options.
But i didn't work as I got the above error message.

Unfortunately this all seems a little rough around the edges -- for example, I have found updates for AppStore apps on the support.apple.com updates download site, but then when I install them via ARD they don't actually update the software. (The AppStore icons still show as needing the updates, and the version info reports the old version.) The documentation is also vague about which AppleID to use in which circumstance. I think they just haven't finished thinking through the implications of the various procedures and policies upon the various kinds of customers. When we deployed Mountain Lion on the school lab, we made an install usb and went around and installed it on each computer -- and it appears that you are on the honor system as far as paying for all of the licenses that you install. We did! But they appear to have no way to enforce it.
So far, I have only deployed 9 Lion macs in my day job, and our "solution" to the AppStore showing updates problem has been to drag the AppStore icon off of the users' docks so they don't see them!

I read your first post when I was posing a separate question on the Mac Pro board. I now see that we may be talking about printing from an iPad with Airprint instead!!!!! I very much suspect the print command and settings are different for Airprint but I have never used it to be able to offer concrete advice. I think the setting choices could be different even with Airprint on the laptop and further that you may not even be using Safari but some special app???
I've not heard or seen the term "frame" in the context of printing before except perhaps in the context of a screen shot. Is the credit card statement a "pop-up" of some kind rather than a webpage or pdf?

Master Page: Alternatives (Subform Set) works only for the first page

Hi everybody!
I have bumped into a very weird problem with ADOBE Forms:
When I create an 'Alternative' in a Context area and then place it on a Master Page, it works only for the first page. On the rest of pages it always show the 'TRUE' subform, regardless of the condition (which is not changed, of course). Absolutely the same Alternative works perfectly in a Content area for all pages.
Has anybody seen something like this? Any ideas why?

I know, it is not that logical in the first moment, but it makes sense.

You could just make a screen grab of the video playing, that is the easiest.
Open photos app, and play the video, pause where you want the image from.
Then hold the power and home button to grab a still image of the screen.
There is an app called videopix that can also grab full frame video grabs.

I've returned the Graphics of an image in the method of one class so that I can work with it in another class. I was looking for a setGraphics in the Image class but there isn't one. Nor is there a graphics.createImage(). What I'd really like to do is get the background image, draw on it in a separate class, then return it to the original class (for buffering purposes).
2) is there any way to make a blank Image of given dimensions (without actually making a .gif of a blank screen)? I want to draw on the background even if it is blank, but I can't get the Graphics of a null Image.

i looked at those websites.
The reason why the site's buffered images work is becuase they are using the paint method in a single class. (i.e. they are not calling the graphics from someplace else). If you call a Graphics (using getGraphics and the like) from someplace else, you don't get a reference or pointer; you get a COPY. The copy will helpfully record your instructions. But the original graphics doesn't get the instructions. That's my problem. My graphics instructions are not getting sent to the originating Graphics, so drawRect never gets executed.
Another problem is that I often have no background picture in my container, and hence, I have a null pointer when I try to draw stuff on the returned Graphics.
So what I want to do is create an image in the subclass of the rectangles, lines, whatever, and send it to my handy little setBackground(Image im) method in my superclass. And whenever the background image is null, create a white image to draw on.
I am calling the graphics from the background of a custom lightweight container. I would REALLY REALLY not like to mess with my container code... it took me a long time to get it working.
I also don't want to override paint. That would make all the buffering work I did obsolete. :-(

How do you make a call from your computer

I have an iPhone 6 running 8.02 and Yosemite 10.10.
I my computer which is an iMac (late 2012) won't allow me to receive or make calls. I tried pairing my phone via bluetooth but that Doesn't work - tells me to check the network (i am on the correct network). Is the iMac too old to allow this to happen?

Create the slideshow either in iPHoto or in iDVD itself. Pick one of the old themes like World, Travel, Windowbox, Scrapbook or Pinboard that have no dropzone and drag a blank, black image file menu's window. That will give you a black menu. Change the text color to whatever you'd like for the play button for the slideshow. If you want the slideshow to start immediately when you put the disk in the DVD player click on the Map button in the bottom toolbar, last one on the left in the middle. In the next window drag the slideshow icon into the box at the far left. Then use the File->Save as Disk Image and complete the project. You can then open the disk image and play it with DVD Player to preview before committing to disk. If it's what you want, burn it with Disk Utility as the slowest speed possible for maximum compatibility with the many DVD players on the market.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

How do you play an album from start to finish without mixing the songs?

I may be old-fashioned, but I want to play my albums from start to finish without having the songs mixed. I have tried almost anything, but it kips jumping randomly from song to song on an album. Extremely annoying if you are listening to a concept album like Berlin by Einstürzende Neubaten!!
