How do you make sure Weblogic 6.0 sp1 is installed

Is there any ways to check what version and service pack is installed?
I got an customer machine which had Weblogic 6.0 is installed,
but I don't know how to find out if service pack 1 is installed
or not. Thanks.

You do not have SP1 installed correctly. The version string should be
"6.0 Service Pack 1 03/04/2001 22:05:05 #101616"

Thanks for the reply. I think I figured out the problem. Apple has confused (at least in my mind) the different IDs that people can have. In the iCloud settings, they use the term Apple ID and not iCloud ID. I guess there really is no such thing as an iCloud ID. There are Apple IDs with various attributes. This is not clearly explained or easy to see (how could I look up to see if my Apple ID is associated with iTunes for example?).
I created, what I thought were iCloud IDs for each family member, but we all use my Apple ID for iTunes.
One other question - why does the syncing of Notes using iCloud require an @me.com email account. That makes no sense to me.

Newbie Question... How do you make sure java can find all the imports

Hi everyone,
I am new to Java and so far I really like it. But I am having problems porting applets to my websites. How can you make sure that all the references can and will be found in the applet...
for example,
I import javax.media.ControllListener in a project I am using and it works great in the applet viewer but when I try to port this to my website I'm working on, java can't find it. I really would appreciate any help on this cause then I would have java power :) and will keep me from losing my hair :).

How do you make sure the cluster keeps clients macs in it?

every time the client macs are turned off then back on again they don't rejoin the cluster so each time i have to go around manually and join every mac to the cluster. There must be someway of making them stay in the cluster or be able to at least send a unix command to make them automatically join the cluster???

You may need to remake the cluster.
Also i've found that a cluster will work best with machines and software of the same spec. Make sure all the same software including pro-apps updates are running.
QT will need to be up to date on all computers with the same QT components also.
Failing that you might want to start from scratch using Digital Rebellions compressor repair, which is an awesome piece of freeware.

How do you make sure the form data prints (commercial offset printing)?

We are commercial printers and have been using a PDF workflow for quite a while now. We recently received a PDF form to print but any information filled in the form just dropped out (all non-data printed fine). When we send it to a laser printer, everything is there but when it goes through the RIP and imposition software (both Heidelberg), all the data is missing.
When I open the PDF from the client, I am not able to change or even highlight the data. There is a message saying the information is locked.
We were able to get around the problem by importing the PDF into InDesign and making a new PDF from that but that seems to be an extra step that coulb be avoided.
Anyone else with a similar problem (and solution)?

How can you tell that it is an XFA form? If I can identify the form type from when I get jobs like this, I can use the workaround from the beginning.

The only thing that has worked so far is placing the PDF in InDesign and Exporting to a new PDF from there. I guess this is making the flattened PDF that you talked about.

You do the same thing, but now your open apps are displayed in a window view. Swipe left/right to find the app you want to stop, then swipe the app up to remove it. By the way, this doesn't turn off the internet. It only removes the app from memory that may be accessing the internet.

Aperture - when you have saved a multi-media slideshow and you export it how do you make sure the audio track retains the volume drops that you programme in? I have video clips with audio, which when they play in the slideshow, I fade the audio (music)?

Aperture - Sorry I'm new to this so this might be a bit long! I put together an aperture slideshow with a backing music track and some video interspersed with photos. When I exported it to put on you tube the audio backing track had not saved the fades that I had programmed when the video clips played. The video clips had audio on them that I set at one volume whilst fading the backing track. these fades didn't save on the exported version. Any suggestions please? Regards, Maxjackpete

Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them.

The only way that you would see "read" about an iMessage is if the receiver has that set on their device. "Delivered" is the only acknowledgement that you have control over on your device. Once you have removed the block, which really only controls your receiving, the block should be removed. I would just wait for the response.

After she got some songs from that itunes a folder of pictures showed up with no delete option. I shut off my photostream so perhaps this is the solution. But I noticed that a message I sent from her ipod to my sister (an iphone user) later showed up on my iphone (as if I had sent it from my iphone)! That was really odd. I'd like to keep our itunes account together simply so I can monitor her downloads, etc so I don't want to open up her own itunes to avoid automatic syncing.
I only want to share music between our devices. I don't want her pics nor my pics to go to icloud/itunes.

Yes, you have to connect the iPod to that computer and go to the Photos pane for the iPod in iTunes and uncheck sync photos and the click on synce/apply. In the future do not check sync photos.

You can turn iMessage off on your iPhone. That's relatively easy. Since iMessage is an Apple product/service, I have no idea how a Samsung phone will deal with an incoming one. For that answer you should probably contact Samsung support.

If you have copied them to your computer, then you will be OK. Just deselect the photos when you sync.

How do I make sure that my second-hand iPod is not a stolen product?

My husband recently recieved an iPod shuffle from a friend of his. His friend told him he could have it since the friend didn't have a computer to download songs from or charge the iPod with. He states that he thought the iPod already had songs pre-recorded on it, and even if he used someone else's computer to get the songs, it's too much trouble. My husband had lent him some money to pay a utility bill and he was using this iPod that he just happened to have laying around to pay my husband back. I don't trust my husband's friend. How can I make sure that he isn't trying to push a stolen iPod off onto my husband? We haven't used it yet. My husband doesn't have much use for the shuffle, but I would love it, if only I could find out whether it was stolen or not. You sound like a very honest and sensible person, who is taking very reasonable precautions against becoming a second victim of theft. Others on these forums have been less cautious and have lost their recent purchases.
My suggestion would be to make sure the person offering the iPod shuffle is easily identifyable. Make sure he/she has a real address and you know what it is. Get a picture of the person and make sure they know you have it. If they are not above board I'm fairly sure they won't allow this.
There are a number of online databases of stolen merchandise. Look them up and check the serial number of the iPod against these databases.
Apple will not tell you if the item is stolen. Their phone agents that work with the public do not have that kind of information.
Note that doing all this will not guarantee you don't get a stolen iPod. Only purchasing one new (or refurbished) from Apple or an authorized reseller can do that. It does, however, give you a better chance.
