How do you merge GPO's?

I found this PowerShell script   http://blogs.technet.com/b/ashleymcglone/archive/2011/01/19/finally-copy-and-merge-gpos-powershell-saves-the-day.aspx    and I've run it but nothing happened.    If you are familiar with this
script and got it to work please let me know how.    And if not is there anyway to merge GPO's?    I want to take 15-20 GPO's and merge them into 1 huge master GPO.

    Hi pharmovative,
You can use the Combine PDF feature of Adobe PDF pack to combine multiple PDF files into one document. (Or, if you have the full version of Acrobat, you an do it there as well by choosing Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF.)

  • How do you merge the data of two MIDI regions?

How do you merge the data of two MIDI regions into one MIDI region without using copy and paste functions in the piano roll editor?

Sorry - didn't make myself clear. The glue tool would be no good here. I meant that I wanted, for example, to merge the MIDI contents of two regions that are perhaps on different tracks but play back at the same time, i.e. I want to add the 2nd region's MIDI to the 1st region's MIDI, but without having to go into the piano roll editor and cut and paste the data.

  • HELP - How do you Merge 2 Users to one without the stuff being Duplicated?

my friend that helped me with my computer today with her mac computer a while ago her computer crashed and she got a new mac and now for some reason on her computer she had to create a new user so meaning for certain stuff she had to switch back and forth between the 2 users and she wanted to Merge 2 users, on Mac but the First was from back up and the Second is the new user I had to set up and the new user is the most current one and the other thing is she does not want the stuff duplicated so how do you merge them

You can just drag any of your data from the Documents folder to the Shared folder. Then, when you log in as the other user it will be available and you can drag it into the new Documents folder. If you're looking for other preferences or Application Support it gets tricky to do by hand.
What I'd do is start over if it's new. Just boot into boot up holding command-r keys into your Recovery Volume.
Then choose Utilities > Disk Utility, erase the volume and reboot. This will be an Internet Recovery and will take a while. Then, the first time the user boots the machine, while still in Setup Assistant when prompted do the migration and all will be fine.

  • How do you merge EXS24 instruments?!?

I have drums in one instrument, and cymbals in another. (mapped not to overlap)
In the AKAI, I just assigned them to the same MIDI channel.
How do you merge instruments in the EXS24?
Thanks and sorry if this seems basic (I did do a search first!)
      Mac OS X (10.4.4)

I have drums in one instrument, and cymbals in
    another. (mapped not to overlap)
In the AKAI, I just assigned them to the same MIDI
    channel.
How do you merge instruments in the EXS24?
    This should work:
    - Open an environment window
    - Make sure "Protect Size & Positions" is NOT checked
    - (Also: simpler if "Show Cables" is off.)
    - Now, "Create New Instrument". The new object should have a little arrow on the top right hand side of its icon...
    - If you hold down the 'alt' (or 'option') key and then click and hold the mouse button over this little arrow, you should get a scrolling vertical list of possible cable destinations. Select the first EXS (ie "Instrument 4") in the list.
    - You should now see a cable heading off from the newly-created instrument, and a second little arrow beneath the one you just connected. Alt-click on this one and select the second EXS.
    - Now, if you select this new instrument in the Arrange, your MIDI input should be routed to both of the EXS instruments.
    I hope this helps.....

  • How do you merge 2 iMovie projects?

How do you merge 2 iMovie projects together? I have a 2 yr old iMac with iMovie 2011. Thank-you.

That's an easy solution. However you did not consider the harmful effects of the additional compression. Please consider that the "raw" video is already compressed before it leaves the camera. Then again as it's exported from iMovie the first time. After merging the projects (with your technique) it get compressed a third time. And perhaps a fourth time if the movie is burned onto a DVD.
I'm very familiar with the loss of image and sound quality due to excessive compression, because I produced 43 separate makeup application tutorials for a manufacturer's website. Everything was fine until they decided that they also wanted me to combine all of them onto a DVD. My video was shot at high-def so that wasn't an issue. The issue was how to combine all 43 videos without a substancial loss of image quality?
I tried the obvious method (proposed by elikness) and found that my text graphics (still photos) suffered the worst - literally jagged black text that looked almost blurry. So I replaced all my graphic panels and burned the DVD. My client was satisfied. I was not. God only knows what the 90-minute (combined) DVD will look like after they've paid somebody to make 10,000 copies.
    thank you - robert

I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

go to the keychain you want to paste them into.
select it, click on any item inside it, and hit paste.
now you get to type in your password and hit return .... for each item you want to copy.
hopefully you have a short password...

  • How do you merge multiple songs into one album?

When I added a downloaded album to iTunes, it created one album for each track. How do I merge all of these albums/tracks into one album?

Some albums will fracture into a million pieces if you have different artist names. How the columns are sorted can effect this.
If it is a multiple artists on one album select 'Compilation' in the options section for all of the songs on the album.
NOTE: You need to have multiple items selected to set this flag!

  • How do you merge two different users on one computer?

I created a user account on my computer, then when I used Migration Assistant to transfer some of the files off my old computer onto my new MacBook Air it transferred them into a new user account.  How do I merge the two different users? They are both me.

You can't "merge" users, you have to transfer the files using intermediate steps to deal with Permissions issues.
You found out first hand that you should use Setup Assistant, rather than Migration Assistant to perform the action that is now causing trouble, and time.
    1) Log in to the A account.
    2) Locate all the files you want to move. Move them to /Users/A/Public. Note: Don't move any System-created top-level folders, like Documents, Pictures, Music, Movies, etc. Just move their contents.
    3) Log in to the B account.
    4) Navigate with Finder to /Users/A/Public. Drag the files to the Desktop. This will make new copies of them that will have the correct permissions for User B.
    5) Put the new copies of the files away in the appropriate places in B's home folder.
    6) Delete the A user account if it is no longer needed.
Doing it this way will ensure that there are no permissions headaches with the files after they are moved.
Also, make sure that you BACK UP all of your data before starting.

  • How do you merge MTS files on import that were split during recording?

Not sure if this is doable in Adobe Premiere Pro or not... and I haven't had loads of luck yet finding an answer on my own.
If I record a long event to an SD card, and for every 2GB it splits the file, how do I then import these clips into Premiere as one file with no cuts?
In Final Cut Pro, it's pretty straight forward when doing this, it automatically reads the information on the SD card during Log and Transfer, and merges files that were really one single cut. And then you simply import the single file, as opposed to multiple files with lost data between clips.
Is it possible in Premiere? Good grief, I hope so.

Thanks guys! I was thinking I had done this before, but we must not have copied enough of the folder structure of the card to get the desired result.
When we get a chance, we'll give this a shot--copying all the content on the card--and then I'll report back a yay or nay.

  • HT5625 How do you merge two Apple IDs into one account?

I have two Apple IDs (it's a long story) with mixed content.  I'd like to merge the accounts into one account, in order to synchronize my apple products.  How do I do it?

    1. Click here and ask the iTunes Store staff if they'll do it. They probably won't.
    2. Because Apple generally doesn't permit that.
    3. Because the content remains associated with your Apple ID when you share it with other people.

  • How do you merge iphoto libraries without duplicates and maintaining events?

I have a few iphoto libraries on my computer that I need to merge, without duplicates, and maintaining the seperate events.  Does anyone know how to do this efficiently?

"Terence Devlin" does not work for Apple, for the makers of Library Manager and has no beneficial interest in whether or not you use or purchase this or any other app. If "Terence Devlin" did have such an interest the terms of use of the Forum would require that he add such information to the post. No, Aperture cannot merge iPhoto Libraries. Aperture can convert them to Aperture Libraries and merge them, but that would be of no use to an iPhoto user, as iPhoto can't open an Aperture Library.
And the fact remains that the paid version of Library Manager is the only way to merge Libraries
