I downloaded an app game, and i dont know how to move it to the folder I have for games.

Touch and hold the app untill all the apps start to wiggle. Then touch the app and move it into your game folder. Depress the Home button to get back to normal.

To access previously purchased apps and content you do need to use the same Apple ID on your new device that you used on the old one.
Content is linked to Apple ID's.
If you want to make your new one a near clone of your old one, when you set it up you have two options, to set up as new or to restore from a backup of your old one. Choose that and the content and most settings will copy over.

I am trying to "hide" (i.e. remove) some of the apple apps from my home screen and have seen several references to creating a new screen and moving them there. The trouble is, I'm not sure how to create a new screen or, once I have done, how to move the apple aqpps to the new screen. Can someone run through the steps for me and post them here so that I can solve this issue.

Rearrange icons:
1 Touch and hold any app on the Home screen until it begins to jiggle.
2 Arrange the apps by dragging them.
3 Press the Home button to save your arrangement.
Move an icon to another screen
While arranging apps, drag an app to the side of the screen.
Create additional Home screens
While arranging apps, flick to the rightmost Home screen, then drag an app to the right edge of the screen. You can create up to 11 Home screens.
Reset your Home screen to the default layout
Go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap Reset Home Screen Layout.
Resetting the Home screen removes any folders you’ve created and applies the default wallpaper to your Home screen.

I am using adobe muse and adobe business catalyst with just the basic website plan you get with creative cloud. I want to move a folder into teh root folder so I can use wimpy player with my site.

How do you move pictures from one project/album/folder to a different one?

I have tried dragging a picture from one album within a project to a different album in the same project and a picture from one project to another project (specifically to a album in the different project), but have had no success. I have looked through the Aperture Help pages and searched on "move picture", but had no success. I'm sure there is a way to move pictures. Any help will be appreciated.

It's _very_ important that you understand the difference between Projects and Albums: specifically the difference in the relationship between an Image and a Project or an Album. This little "Naming of the Parts" I posted has helped others with this non-intuitive issue.
Read it, try more dragging-and-dropping (if moving is indeed what you want to do), and post back with specific questions (e.g.: I did X, I expected Y, I got Z).

The application — and any copy of the application — will look in the support folder that was created for it at the time of its original installation. If Minecraft itself doesn't provide a way to redirect its attention to support files in a different folder, there won't be any way to do so outside of the application, and the two copies of the program will continue to use the same set of support files. That makes it pointless to have two copies of the app.
To accomplish what I suspect you're trying to accomplish, trash the second copy of Minecraft, create and log into a new user account on your computer, open Minecraft in that account, and a new Application Support folder will be created in the new user's Home/Library folder. To switch from one set of support files to the other, switch users.
This is a Minecraft question and not one about the Mac OS or Mac hardware. If the suggestion above doesn't accomplish your desired end, the question should be addressed to the developer of Minecraft.

I have Compressor 3.05 installed on two Intel Macs: a MacPro tower and a MacBook Aluminum. I created a new setting on the MacBook, and can see it in Library -> App Support -> Compressor as "<name>.setting" Then I moved to the Mac Pro for speed and created a few more settings. I copied these settings from the Mac Pro libary and put them in the MacBook library; restarted Compressor on the MacBook but still cannot see those presets from within Compressor. I hate to re-create all those settings, but I do move between both computers depending on what I am doing.
What am I missing? Thanks.

To copy single settings.
1. Drag & Drop your setting from the Compressor Settings window to i.e. the desktop
2. Copy .setting file to an other Mac
3. Drag & Drop the .setting file(s) over to the Settings window in Compressor
To copy settings groups (folders)
1. Go to */Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/Compressor*
2. Copy the settings group folder you want to your i.e. the desktop
3. Make sure Compressor is not open on the other Mac
4. Copy the settings group folder to the same location on the other Mac
5. Open Compressor

Connect your iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes under 'Devices'. On the right-hand side there should then be a series of tabs, one of which is Music - select that and you should be able to select which of your computer's iTunes music to sync to the Music app on the iPad, and then sync/apply that selection.

To backup your phone (3GS), plug it to your PC, when Itunes opens up, you will see your phone on the left hand side, right click on it and do a back up.
When you set up your 4S it will ask if you want to restore as new/ from a backup from Itunes or icloud. Select restore from back up then plug your phone to your PC and then let Itunes back up your phone.
