Please try to Boot your device on same mode , If you recently installed any application before this Problem started ? Think carefully !
If you have then, On Safe Mode delete any application which you think might be responsible for this issue , from Options > Application > locate and delete any newly installed 3rd party application , it might help in resolving your issue :

Saving contacts on our SIM card is in my view is a good idea because ..Copying contact list from your device to a Sim Card is a lengthy process and SIM contacts will ONLY contain one phone number per contact entry. Our BlackBerry  Address Book will have a different arrangement with one Contact Name and several fields of information (Cell phone, Work Phone, Home Phone, email address, etc.) if you want to do it that way than you had to do one by one , so the best option will be to sync with your BB Desktop Software ,Have a look at this article reaging backup , I'm sure it will help you a lot for any future courses How To Backup Your BlackBerry

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and install any updates available.
Navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from.

  • How  do you get your videos on the phone memory to your computer??

I can't get my videos stored in my phone memory to my computer or sd card. I got a replacement phone, but I'm trying to get the videos off my old phone. I called tech support, but they were no help. Can anyone  help me?

You should be able to plug in the phone to your pc via a usb cord and select to use it as a disk (you select this on the phone, not the pc). You can then view the phone's directory just like an external hard drive from Windows explorer. Then find the folder in the phone's directory and copy and paste the folder or the video files in the folder to the hard drive on the pc.

I checked voulme of phone and everything I could think of. The application does not even freeze. It just wont play the file.

I have an iphone 4S and it has been doing crazy things like typing on its own.  IT's like someone is shadowing my phone.  Also, the left side of the phone keys get frozen, any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Nothng worst when you need to call or text someone urgently and i can not do it as computer takes over... thank and have a wonderful day!!

More than likely a failing display. You can try restoring it to see if that helps, but you'll probably have to have the phone replaced. make an appointment at the genius bar.

  • What can I delete from the phone memory?

I have virtually nothing installed on c: (the phone) except for the nokia diagnostic thing.
But I have less then 800k free memory left.
When I didi the last system update I had 25mb free and since then I have applied a Ovi Maps, Contact and Music update all done through the phones SW update thing.
I have a couple of file explore apps installed so I can go anywhere on the phone memory and I was just wondering if there is anything I can safely delete.
I have a 5230 and I have done the usual of getting rid of the data inside the browser.

The only thing I have not done is delete some of the preinstalled apps and reinstall them using Ovi store to get them onto my memory card.
Looking at the list of apps this might get me a couple of MB back but what then?
The next SW update will just use it up again.
What I am looking for is the directory where the phone puts stuff so it can be reinstalled without downloading it again, that sort of thing, I can delete stuff and if I do need to reinstall well OK I need to redownload first but not a problem.

  • Can't move sim contacts to phone memory

    Dear Friends,
I bought nokia e5 newly. While i am trying to see my contacts, phone is not showing the sim contacts.
While i search in internet, They told that menu->option->sim contacts.from this location we can copy. But in my nokia e5 , it is not showing. But while i am getting incoming calls, it showing that name.
Whle i am going to contatcs->sim numbers, It have only fixed dial contacts.
    Whether my sim is locked?
    Please help me.
It urgent.Because i have more than 200 contacts in sim.

These keystrokes are for the N97 but the C5 should be similar. Try Contacts>Settings>Contacts to display, select SIM memory. This should allow you to use your sim contacts.
Now to copy all to phone memory, goto Contacts>Options>Mark/Unmark>Mark all>Options>Copy>Phone memory.
Once you have copied all your contacts to the phone memory, you should consider deleting them from the Sim as they may otherwise cause Caller ID problems, as in you may not see the callers name when they call.

  • Images Corrupted after Moving from Phone Memory to SD Card

Hi, I have a Sony Xperia Z3 16GB version and Recently I had been to a hiking trip and had used my Xperia Z3 on the trip extensively for photos and vidoes. I have taken as much as 600 photos and few videos of size 2.9 GB. Since the phone memory was getting full, i moved the images, videos using the "Move Files to SD Card" option found under "Settings --> Storage". The Transfer finished successfully and the phone memory was relieved. Now after this transfer, i can't open any images moved to SD card. They all were moved to "DCIM --> 100ANDRO" folder.  The photos seem to be corrupted. ALL OF THEM   This is such a mess and I tried a few tools for recovering the images. They didn't help me any. Can anyone of you have any suggestions on how to recover these photos?  These are memories from a Trip which I can do only once in life time  Please help.  Note: The jpeg image properties show up the File Size clearly which means that the content is still there but somehow corrupted

You could try a check disk - So with the card connected open a command prompt then type the drive letter of the card then : so for example K: then hit enter - Then type chkdsk /f then hit enter - When finished check your cards files

  • Transferring Razor SIM contacts to iPhone

How do I transfer the SIM info from my Razor to my iPhone? I have an iMac but have no clue how to do it.

I did this with my RAZR.
Before starting I would make sure that ALL your contacts are saved to the SIM card on your RAZR. Go to Phonebook>Menu>Copy>All to SIM>Merge
Now go into your phonebook again on the RAZR.
Hit the menu key(the center one in the top row on your phone)
Scroll to Copy and select it.
Scroll to All to Phone and select.
Select Overwrite since all your contacts are now written to the SIM. If you select merge you will get duplicates due to a limitation the Symbian OS on the phone.
The overwrite will take 10 to 15 minutes depending on how many contacts you have.
This will store all your contacts in the phones memory which is the only thing that is read during a sync operation with your Mac.
The sim is not read at all during a sync.
When you go to sync it with your Mac make sure you tell it to merge or it will erase all the contacts in the phone(but not the sim) and replace them with contacts from your Mac.
If you can't get this to work let me know. I have another method that takes a little more work.

  • How to secure the phone contacts of Asha and other...

Phone contacts are very important assets. It is always advisable to take regular backup of important data for safety.
Here are the different methods to secure your contacts and solutions to solve common contacts problems.
    1. Using your phone's sync-and-backup option
To backup the phone contacts using your phone,
go to settings, sync-and-backup, create backup. Mark the contacts and neccessary items you need for backup.
Note: Creating backup doesn't work without memory card.
    2. Using Nokia suite
Install the latest version of Nokia suite from here.
Connect your phone to PC using data cable(set Nokia suite mode on phone) or via bluetooth.
Launch the Nokia Suite, open contacts and follow these:
    2A. Using drag and drop
You can simply drag and drop the contacts to a folder of your computer as shown:
You can also drag and drop contacts from the PC folder back to Nokia suite.
2B. Using Backup/Restore option of Nokia Suite
To backup or restore using Nokia suite, go to tools-backup/restore.
    2C. Using the sync option
You can sync your phone contacts to Nokia suite by default, as well as with Microsoft Outlook.
To sync your contacts to Outlook, open Nokia suite, go to sync-sync options and select Microsoft Outlook in contacts as shown:
After syncing, the contacts of your phone will be copied to both Nokia suite and Microsoft Outlook:
Note: Creating or deleting any contacts in any one of the locations like either phone or Nokia suite or Outlook,  updates the same changes in the remaining two places.
It is highly recommended to use drag and drop method to backup contacts instead of sync for simplicity.
    3. Common problems with contacts and solutions
    3A. Avoiding repeated contacts.
You might have copied all the phone conatcts to SIM card as a backup, but the contacts will be shown twice.
When you have similar contacts in both the SIM card as well as phone, you can change the settings such that either of the SIM contacts or phone contacts are only visible, for this, go to contacts-settings-memory in use and change it to either phone or SIM card.
3B. Deleting the either only SIM or phone contacts.
You can always delete either SIM or phone contacts. Go to contacts-delete all contacts and select either SIM card or phone.
3C. Deleting repeated contacts using PC.
Sometimes the contacts will be repeated in the phone memory itself. To fix this, drag and drop your contacts to a folder and delete all the contacts having parenthesis () as shown:
Now you can delete all the contacts of the phone and copy(drag and drop) the non repeated contacts from the PC back to phone.
    4. Recovering the contacts from a corrupted backup file of the phone using PC
There are situations when restoring data fails due to corrupted backup file.
    To solve this,
    A. Connect the memory card to PC using a card reader.
    B. Enable the hidden folders and extension in view or in the folder options, go to memory card/backup folder and copy the .NBF file to your PC.
    C. Change the extension of the backup file from .NBF to .ZIP.
    D. After renaming, the backup file can be extracted using any compression applications like WinRar or default ZIP manager.
    E. The contacts of the backup file can be found at
    \Backup000\predefhiddenfolder\backup\WIP\32\contacts.
These contact files can now be copied back to your phone using Nokia suite(using drag and drop method).

  • CAN'T DRAG MUSIC FROM THE PC TO THE PHONE N958GB

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Have you connected the phone in USB mass storage (data transfer) mode with the supplied USB cable, or did you try PC Suite mode (and do you have Nokia PC Suite installed)?
Or how is the phone connected to your PC? Where exactly and how do you try to drag music from the PC to the phone? To the phone memory or the mass memory? When you try, what happens (including any an all error messages displayed)?
What operating system are you running on your PC (Nokia PC Suite works only on Windows)?
If you have PC Suite installed, and the phone is properly connected, then the phone will appear under Nokia Phone Browser under My Computer in Windows Explorer.

  • How secure is the phones Pin?

    Hey guys,
Had my N96 stolen last night (it is covered just lost 40 very precious mins of video, devastating) and I was wondering, just how secure is my 4 digit pin code on the phone. Can it be bypassed easily? I'm not phishing here so I don't want detailson how anythings done just want the security of knowing that the **bleep** who has my phone can't access whats on there i.e. photo's, numbers etc.
    Thanks

did you set remote lock you can lock it with a text if you did
the phone lock on the phone the Nokia default 12345 is NOT secure at all I think a software update resets it to default 12345
If however it is a SIM pin lock even only 4 digits then that is secure but a different sim will access the phone memory and your vids
I always have the SIM lock on to just to protect my account but the Nokia pin I dont rate at all
Contact the provider for your service THEY CAN LOCK IT OUT of the network on the imie thats not undo able in UK and is secure
but it only stops it making calls not access to the phone internal mem
but some countries do not use the imie lock so it could be sold on abroad
Nokia user / modder since Nokia Orange and Mobira user too before that

  • How does the N70 phone memory interact with the me...

I am not sure how to use the phone memory and the card memory on my N70. I thought that the memory card was simply an overflow which was activated when my phone memory was full. However when I download music from my PC and my phone memory is full I will get the message "not enough memory". Obviously I'm being a "thicko" again. Help!Message Edited by holein1 on 26-Apr-2006

It doesn't quite work in the way you suggest. You will always have the option to use the memory card instead of the phone memory. If you want your phone to have a fairly quick response time it's best practice to keep as much free phone memory as possible, eg. of my approx 20MB, I use about 5MB which leaves approx 15MB unused. There are some files I do store in phone memory in order to keep my N70 running relatively quick and that's actively used ringtones and any themes that I currently use.
When you install 3rd party applications, your phone will ask you whether you want to install to phone memory or to the memory card.
If your having issues of filling up the phone memory with incoming messages then you can choose to have incoming messages routed directly to your memory card thus bypassing the phone memory. To access the setting go to:
Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings > Other > Memory in use
Change memory in use from phone memory to memory card.
This should cure your "not enough memory" error messages.
