How do you move videos on photo sharing back to your camera roll?

I have to newest iOS update. It features the iCloud Photo Sharing. I recently moved my videos into the Photo Sharing. I want to move my videos that are in Photo Sharing back on to original camera roll or on to my computer using airdrop. Any idea on how to do that?

Videos can only be downloaded from a Shared Photo Stream on a computer. Once downloaded, they can be synced to your iPhone via iTunes.
Can photos and videos be saved or downloaded from a shared album?
Yes. After photos are shared, anyone who can view the shared album can download and keep them permanently. Videos can only be downloaded to a Mac or PC. On an iOS device, videos are streamed from iCloud and can't be downloaded.
On a compatible iOS device, you can save photos to your Photos tab or Camera Roll.
In iPhoto or Aperture for Mac, you can add or copy shared photos or videos to your Library.
On a Windows PC, you can copy photos and videos from a shared album to any folder.
On the web, you can download photos and videos directly to your computer from the detail view of each photo or video.

With ios 7 how can I add videos from a shared photostream to my camera roll?

When I am viewing a shared photostream that I subscribe to I am able to select photos and add them to my camera roll (essentially saving someone's shared photos to my device). Now that you can add videos to shared photostreams with ios 7 I was hoping to be able to do the same with videos. However, when I view a shared vieo and attempt to save it to my camera roll it is not an option. Any ideas on how to do this?

To save photos/video from the photo stream to your camera roll, select it, click the share button, and select "save to camera roll". It will remain in the photo stream as well, until you delete it.

I need to use a video in a Keynote presentation. How do I move a video from the Videos app into the Camera Roll so I can access it in Keynote?

I don't think that you can do it directly on the iPad, you will need to sync it to the Photos app from your computer's iTunes i.e. if you are syncing photos from your computer then copy it into one of those photo folders, make sure that 'include videos' is ticked on the Photos tab, and re-sync (or if you have the camera connection kit then you can use, for example, an SD card and copy it via that).
If it's an iTunes purchased video then it possibly won't sync to the Photos app (I've never tried it), and whilst they can be copied via the kit they won't play in the Photos app - so they might not also play in Keynote, they may only play in the Videos app.

How do you trim videos in Photo Booth on the OS X Mavericks?

I recently updated to the new OS X Mavericks. I don't know how to trim videos on Photo Booth though. Before I updated, there was a "trim" button on the bottom right side of the video that was playing, but I'm not sure where it is now. Is it even possible to trim videos anymore? Thank you

After you take your video and it appears on that little strip at the bottom, click and drag the video you want to trim onto your desktop. Then right click and choose Open With > Quicktime Player.app (It should be default.)
Then when it's open, press Command-T on your keyboard or go to the Edit menu and click Trim...
Then drag the little yellow handles to where you want to trim it to and hit the Trim button.
Then press Command-S to save it, or click the little share/export on the player controls to send it to Facebook or whatever you choose.

The first is to take a single picture.
The second will take a sequence of four pictures.

How do you move one (1) Photo Folder from one Catalog to another Catalog in Lightroom 5?

I want to move one (1) Photo Folder from one Catalog to another Catalog in Lightroom 5 and my laptop (no external hard drive involved). I have already started the editing process in Catalog #1, but due to the size of the Catalog #1, I want to move the current job and future work to a new Catalog.
Currently the backup feature takes an hour to complete. There are also significant delays during large image edits.    So I am thinking, that by moving over to a smaller Catalog, Lightroom will work faster.

Hello ... and thanks for your response.   But I have discovered a couple problems. And I am sure it is "operator error"
I used your method #1. The first window that popped up stated that it was making a temporary copy of the catalog. This took about 20 minutes.
Next, the window showed thumbnail photos on the right and a list of folders in my catalog on the left. The catalog contains folders stored on my LapTop, as well as my external hard drive.
There appeared to be a distinctive difference between those photo folders stored on the external hard drive and those on my LapTop.   The folders on the external drive were named as I have all my folders named: Date_CustomName. The folders stored on my LapTop were named as: Lightroom_5 Backup_Date_CustomName or some such combination and my memory is foggy on the actual use of underscore, slash marks, dashes, etc.
I searched the list closely, and the Folders without a reference to "Lightroom Backup" were not showing.
So as a test, I "added" to the new Catalog one folder from the external hard drive and two from the LapTop.   After the transfer, the new Catalog had accurately named my external hard drive and the folder within in and the photos and their edits transferred accurately.   The other two folders were not named but listed shown in the library module as grey boxes as images with indications of editing. But when I clicked on it, there was a notation that popped up that the file could not be found.
Any ideas?
I am going to create a second new catalog and try your option #2 now.

Yes, it's an often asked question. Itunes directions say go to advanced. WHERE is 'advanced' in new itunes?
You can't drag a video MP4 file to itunes.
Please provide a confirmed step by step process to move win 7 file to Ipad 3 using a video mp4 file. Wasted hours trying to do this. I know i can just open it in dropbox, and it works fine, but it would be nice to use ipad functionality.

On iTunes 11 if you haven't already done so, then you can enable the left-hand sidebar via control-S on a PC - that might make some things easier.
If the video is in a compatible format then you can add it to your iTunes library via File > Add File To Library (control-O, or alt-F to open the File drop-down menu). You can then sync it to the Videos app on your iPad by connecting the iPad to your PC and selecting it on the left-hand sidebar, and then on the right-hand side using the Movies/Films tab to select and sync it - if you get a 'not compatible' message when trying to sync it then try selecting the video in the Films/Movies section of your library and do File > Create New Version > Create iPad Version (alt-F should open the File drop-down menu) and then try syncing that version.

Copy /Home/Pictures/iPhoto Library to your external drive. Delete the one on your internal drive. Now create an alias to the iPhoto Library's new location and put the alias in the original location. Be sure the alias is named "iPhoto Library".

I've downloaded the latest version of iTunes, but can't figure out how to move music and playlists from the iTunes library onto my iPod. In earlier versions, you only had to drag a playlist onto the iPod. That doesn't seem to be an option now.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar.
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Syncing your iPod....>Sync You Device and follow the instructions.

you could simply add your movies to your ipod by syncing them. Adn then afterwards remove them adn manually manage your music on your ipod syncing with new music you want to add. Or another way is to burn your movies to a disc adn then whenever you want movies on your ipod then you can iport the movies from the disc to your harddrive and then sync your ipod and then manually manage your itunes adn sync of new music.

Your albums will appear and touch the album you want to move the picture to and they'll go there
Note: They will stay in your Camera Roll as well

Bummer - seems like wasted effort - to move all the photo's to a computer, delete then from the IPOD/IPHONE, organize them, and then move back to IPOD/IPHONE. Oh well, is what it is.

How do you move and divide the Library in Aperture 3.5?

How do you move Aperture 3.5 library back to it's original location. I have a folder on my desktop in which I keep photos that i am going to convert to HDR. When I opened it today to trash some of the unwanted photos, I discovered my Aperture library there! this is a large library of over 300 G. How do I move it back to it's proper place? Should I split it? I am using referenced files. Thanks for any suggestions.

Where do you usually keep your Aperture Library? In its default location in your Pictures folder? You can drag the Aperture Library.aplibrary from the folder on the Desktop to the folder where you want to keep it. As long as the destination folder is also on your system drive, the size of the library should not matter.
Are your referenced original images also in the wrong folder? The originals should not be moved manually. Use Aperture's built-in command "Fle > Relocate Originals" to move the original image files for selected images to a different folder.
