How do you play the radio with an iPod and the docking station model RDP-M5iP
I purchased an iPod docking station model RDP-M5iP and I cannot play the radio. It says to plug in the headphones for radio reception but that does nothing. Is there any way to use the radio portion of the iPod with this model?

This Personal Audio Docking System does not have built in radio and it seems you are playing radio from the connected iPod and wish to get the audio from Docking System Speakers. You may try checking the radio reception in the iPod. Also, you may try to playback music in the iPod and check if audio is output from the Docking System Speakers.

How do you play YouTube audio with the screen off with iPod 5th gen?
I used to own a 2nd gen iPod touch, which ran on an ios 4.2.1 system, that allowed me to play YouTube with the screen off. Ever since I got iPod 5 which came with ios 7, let's say I am kinda still getting the hang of how everything works. I still would like to play YouTube while the screen is off, but seem to not know how. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? It's running on ios 8, so if you could help me with this, I would gladly appreciate it!
Hi there, you can download itube, it's in the app store, and that allows you to save youtube videos for offline play. Also, you can play youtube audio with the screen off, even without a third party app. Click on a video. When it's playing, press the lock button. Press it again, to wake the device up. You should see your video on the front of the display, with a play button. Click it, and it will start playing even if the device is off. Hope I helped, ~Samuel.

How Do You Play One Album with New Cover Art Browser
This seems to be such a simple thing to do and yet I can not figure it out. How are u supposed to only play one album when viewing by the Cover Art Browser. I assumed double clicking the album art would play the album, but it doesnt. I've tried everything and it's driving me crazy. I just dont see the point of this view if you can't even play the individual albums without the entire library playing too.
In preferences, (Edit -> Preferences on a Windows-based PC or iTunes-> Preferences on a Mac), then the Playback tab. There is an option to specify how to shuffle, either by individual songs, albums, or groupings.
If you want some randomness, and a random song in there you might try leaving it on songs, and move the Smart Shuffle slider towards the left. -
How can you "freeze" the dock?
Sometimes, I will accidentally pull an item off the Dock. The item disappears, and I will have to search for the item and reinstall it.
How can I make Dock items (like "Applictions," "Library," "Movies," etc. so they don't move?Tinker Tool was promising, but Dock items are fairly easily movable/removable with or without the software.
On the other hand, it seems that the people from Onyx have produced a piece of software, Deeper. It looks very promising...but can only be used with 10.4 so far. Came upon it purely by accident. Who knows when it will be Leopard enabld? -
How do you get the dock to unhide? I've tried everything
My dock disappears everytime I go onto the internet but appears when I click off of of the webpage. I've been to my system preferences and everything says that hiding is off. Please help. I also can't see the bar at the top either.
If the browser is in full screen mode then exit by pressing esc. The dock always hides with apps in full screen mode.

Poor audio with 30G ipod and apple dock into home reciever
Slightly garbled and too much base. I've tried the apple "fix" of not connecting the sync cable but no change, still poor. I read the dock audio should be line out, yet when i adjust the ipod volume the volume into the reciever changes. This is not the way a line out should work.
Is this a flaw in the new video ipods? Any tricks to fix?
pc Windows METhe Headphone out is not a pure line level. No headphone out is. Then u have either fixed or variable line level outputs. U can consider this to be a variable line leve out ( I keep the ipod volume at no more than 90 percent.
As for poor audio I havent used the dock yet but maybe your problems are more to do with your PC???

How do you share library's with different accounts and different users
My family has lots of music and to save hours of time we want to share our music, is this possible? The only problem is, we each have different Apple ID's and our own computers.
Each device will ONLY sync what you select.
Just do not select the apps that you do not want. Only select the apps that you do want. -

You can only have one syncing computer/iTunes library for apps. and photos. You can however, manually sync music and vides from multiple computer/library if you sync manually. See that topic of:

Hold down the Shift key while launching iTunes. You'll be given a dialog box where you can select the iTunes library you want to use. Navigate to and select the iTunes folder in it's new location.

My email address has changed and when I try to play purchased songs it asks me to authorize another computer under the old email address. How do I play the music that I have purchased? My account is current with the new email address.
You may have already done this, but try de-authorizing your computer (through the iTunes:Store menu) and then re-authorizing it.

With the previous version of iTunes, when I plugged in my iPod, I could select the iPod, select podcasts, and manually delete episodes. With the new iTunes, I can't select individual episodes when looking at my iPod through iTunes. Is my only option to Sync? If so, why is that my only option?

I think I figured out a way to do what you want to do - which is the same way that I use Itunes with my Ipod. (My Itunes libary was destroyed last year so I can no longer auto synch my Ipod as I would lose thousands of songs).
Funnily enough, I discovered this new way of manually moving podcasts while trying to figure out what cpragman was trying to say (I never could - he must be smarter than me, as I couldn't get his method to work).
1. Open up your Itunes in your regular Library view. Choose Pocasts from the left hand side (either in the sidebar if you have that enabled, or from the little "radio" icon if you don't.)
2. Mouse to the podcast you want to place on your Ipod.
3. Right-click it. A long menu will pop up.
4. Move to the "Add to Playlist" option. As you hover, all your playlists will be visible. But at the very top will be the name of your Ipod itself (whatever you named it originally). Choose THAT name, and voila! That podcast will now copy to your Ipod and be easily available when you disconnect.
A nice feature of this method is that you can shift-click several podcasts at once and do the same thing, and all your selected podcasts will copy over (if you're like me and update your Ipod only every few weeks).
