How do i reset my security questions if i can't remember my password?
Hello there, Charlee00.
The following Knowledge Base article offers up the information you need in regards to your security questions:
Apple ID: All about Apple ID security questions
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5665
Particularly:
What should I do if I don't remember the answers to my Apple ID security questions?
If you forgot the answers to your security questions, try answering them at least once to see if you can get them right, even if you're not sure you remember the answers. If you're confident that you can't remember them, try one of the following:
If you have three security questions and a rescue email address, sign in to My Apple ID and select the “Password and Security” tab to send an email to your rescue email address to reset your security questions and answers.
If you have one security question and you know your Apple ID password, sign in to My Apple ID and select the “Password and Security” tab to reset your security question.
If you have one security question, but don't remember your Apple ID password, contact Apple Support for assistance. Learn more about creating a temporary support PIN to help Apple confirm your identity when you contact Apple Support.
Note: If you forgot your password and answer your security questions incorrectly too many times in a row, you will be unable to try to answer your security questions for a period of time. During that time, you will not be able to reset your password and will not have access to your account.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

You may have to do this several times.
Saw this solution on another post about an iPad in a school environment. Might work on your iPad so you won't lose everything.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.

How do I reset my security questions when I don't remember the answers to the original security questions?
The Three Best Alternatives for Security Questions and Rescue Mail
1. Use Apple's Express Lane.
Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services' at the
bottom of the page. In the next page click 'More Products and Services, then
'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Forgotten Apple
ID security questions' and click 'Continue'. Please be patient waiting for the return
phone call. It will come in time depending on how heavily the servers are being hit.

My child thought it would be funny to lock my ipod touch. Now he can't remember the password and I am locked out. How do I fix this? Is there a reset button?
Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes. If the iPod asks for the passcode and you can't enter the passcode or if you do not have the syncing computer, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovery mode:

Have a new computer and now cannot access itunes without knowing the answers to the security questions. Apple support cannot reset as we have never used a credit card when purchasing prior, have only used gift cards. Can provide apple id and password and all other account details but still no help. Have we to open a new3 account and start again, this means losing a lot of credit on the existing account?!
I have the same problem. I didn't set a rescue email for some reason. To find out weather you hav a rescue password: Go to appleid.apple.com, sign in, go to manage account and then password and security if you do there will be a link below telling you that you can send an email to it. If not the link won't be there. Hope this helps.

TS2446 How do you reset your security questions when you don't remember them
How do you rest your security questions if you forgot them ?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Start here, and reset your security questions, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions. (Resetting security questions)
If that doesn't help or you don't have a rescue address, you might try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support -
One day I wanted to listen to music...
But it said "Hook to itunes"
I was like "Okay why not"
And then I hooked it up and it said "Cannot connect enter password on ipod"
So I go to my ipod and all it can do is show the hook to itunes screen
Nothing else, I even reset it
So what do I do?It's ugly but this will work. Reset the iPod. Plug the USB into th iPOD while holding the home button which puts the iPod into recovery mode. Select restore. It wipes everyhting out but then you will have a chance to restore from backup (hopefully you have one).
THere is an official support document that shows how to do this "recovery mode". -
How do i fix my ipod if i can not remember my password and i do not have wi fi
If you have a passcode to the screen lock that you've forgotten, restore the iPod from the computer to which the iPod is synced. For information and instructions, see:
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
If that will not work, you'll need to put the iPod into Recovery Mode and then try the Restore again:

BTW, this forum is for questions about the Communities themselves. You'll be more likely to get a quick and helpful answer if you post in the forum dedicated for your product. It's also ineffective to mark your own post as "correct" when you're still waiting for assistance, as people will see that the question has been marked as answered and normally just skip your question.

I got a new phone but backed it up through my itunes, and when I tried to use icloud it kept telling me I have forgotten my password, when I really really didn't. So I went to settings > itunes&appstore and changed my password, but also changed the email address too while I was at it, since I've always wanted to change it. But now here's the problem. My iphone's icloud is currently logged in with my old apple ID email address, which seems to not work with the new password, so I can't log it or even delete the account off my iphone. And ovbiously, I don't know the old password that I have "forgotten", as my phone tells me. There seems to be no way of changing the icloud account now.... What should I do?!
So what was the solution. I have a similar problem on all of my devices now

HT5312 How do I reset my security questions if I can't remember the answers?
I can't remember my answers to my security questions.
The page that you posted from has instructions for how to reset them i.e. if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should let you reset them.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use -
