Indexes of pdf docs created properly with Acrobat Catalog.
In Acrobat with Advanced search option, add indexes is successful, and searches for text in indexed documents is successful.
Exit Acrobat, then later re-launch Acrobat, indexes previously added, have disappeared.

And then after opening Firefox, and then what? If you're trying to help it'd be appreciative you are clear and complete with your instructions.

By your question, I am wondering if you are playing your music from the iTunes app rather than the Music app?
In the Music App, you can go to any of the options at the bottom and click on a song to play and it will then continue to play the songs in that category. You can also select "Shuffle" to shuffle them.
As for your Photos, did you have them backed up anywhere?

Well, generally you can use the clone-stamp tool for one, shortcut is S. It basically allows you to take data from any part of the image and copy that over. What I do is draw on a new layer above the one to modify- make sure you select Sample:"This layer and below" in the top toolbar when doing so. Other ways include blending something on top of the object too, using different blending modes. Painting over it works too at times (rarely). It'd be easier if we knew a specific case though...

just a suggestion: try soundflower or Audio Hijack Pro. I know with the 2nd one, you can control the bass, treble, and all that, with anything that makes sound, from itunes, to Safari, DVD player, Skype ( I guess) and other stuff. Worth the $, IMO, so in answer to your question dbumgardner1, no, no you can't. I suppose in that sense, Windows has us at a loss. We also need 2nd party stuff to play BluRay's, too. However, I haven't seen any Macintosh viruses (virii?) for a long long time....

I'm not aware of an online keyboard that is available and can do this. Most likely it would need to be a function of the app itself (which can and sometimes do add functionlaity to the keyboard).
Wireless keyboard might handle that, if that's an option for you.
I work in IT myself, and IMHO the iPad isn't the ideal device for coding or scripting work.

The only option seems to be to create one 'manually'. I have found two suggestions to use a search to assist with this:
• one using find: http://pagesfaq.blogspot.com.au/2008/01/how-do-i-create-index-in-pages.html
• another using Applescript: http://superuser.com/questions/84580/making-an-index-in-apple-iwork-pages
Perhaps this will be one of the pieces of functionality, along with other things like easily merging to labels, that will be added to the next version of Pages (please Apple)?

why does RESTORE PREVIOUS SESSION not work after a few sessions?
I use Firefox twice per day and each time I boot up my PC (WIndows 7), it prompts me to restore my previous session. I realised after a few of these boot-up sessions, it DOES NOT allow me to restore my previous session. Going to History, the tab "restore previous session" is unclickable too.
How does one RETAIN restore previous session PERMANENTLY? I'm using Firefox 24.0

I understand where the indices of a List Iterator in relation to the elements.

But I don't know how to return an index of a List Iterator.
I'm trying to build a nextIndex and previousIndex method, which would return the index of the particular List Iterator of either the next() or previous() functions had been performed.

I wouldn't have a clue how to get the array-index from the current element of an iterator... and I don't think it is possible simply because not all implementations of list have a useful index... and certainly an index would be meaningless when iteratring a hashmap... so iterator doesn't support indexes.
