How do you save images as a jpeg level 10 in pse8?

I am wanting to be able to submit images to a printing company that requires the images be sent as " sized at 8x10 at 300 ppi in any embedded color space and saved as a baseline standard, level 10 jpeg.  Any b and w images also should be in rgb not grayscale."  Can anyone tell me how to do this correctly????  Thank you!

  • How do i save image as a Jpeg?

    I cant work out how to save my image so i can print it!!

    There are two ways. File>save as  or File>Save For Web.
    Either option will save as a jpeg. In the save as dialog box look toward the bottom for a file type box. Click it and you can choose from a variety of file formats there including jpg. If you see a bunch of formats but jpg is not listed, then odds are your in the wrong mode. Jpg is only supported in 8 bits per channel. Goto Image>Mode then choose 8bits/channel.
    As for save for web - In the upper righthand corner of that dialog box you can choose a preset or select the drop down box for the file format.

  • How do you save image to a separate page with a URL?

    Hi,
    I'm not sure how to phrase this, but sometimes you are on a forum or and somehow wants to show you their desktop picture. You click on the link they provide and it is a complete white page with just their picture and a URL up top.
    How is this done? I use Firefox and I'm guessing you right click open image in new window. I tried this with my Photobucket account but I didn't get the white page with just my photo. So I'm thinking there is something else you do instead.
    Thanks,
    S.

    Hi again S!
    If you use photobucket, make sure it is able to "hotlink", which is exactly what you're asking about. I am not sure whether photobucket allows hotlinks but it probably does.
    The easiest way to find the URL/address of an image you want, would be to open to an image at your photobucket (or any site) site > right click (while mouse cursor is over image) > choose properties... from this box you should see something that says "address/URL" and that's the exact location/URL/link of that particular image. You can test this by copying the address/URL open a blank browser window and paste address in address bar, image should be the only thing displayed.

    How do you save your artwork in Photoshop CC 2014 as an PNG or JPEG file when it doesn't give the option?
    Thanks for your time and help in advance.

    Thanks for replying. I actually got it to work. I had my work set to 32 Bits/Channel in stead of 16 or 8. Once I changed it to 16bit/Channel, it gave me the option to save as either file. Thanks again.

  • How can you save keynote slides as high resolution (300 dpi) images?

    Apparently there is a way to save powerpoint slides as 300 dpi images, with some finagling, but not the mac version.  Does anyone know how to do this in keynote?  Or is there a relativley easy way to do it with free/cheap software?  I can increase the dpi in photoshop, but it doesn't produce crisp images for obvious reasons.

    how can you save keynote slides as high resolution (300 dpi)
    to save individual images from each slide in Keynote;     file > export > images > TIFF (for optimum quality)
    You are using the wrong terminology to describe creating an image file
    - dpi ( meaning dots per inch )  is the measurement used in printing to create the number of print dots per inch that will be deposited on to physical media like paper or film   This is done in the printer settings box of the print driver and is dependant on how the individual printer can print..
    ppi ( meaning pixels per inch ) is the measurement you need to use when creating the number of pixels in a digital image file. You establish image resolution in Keynote using the inspector;
    Keynote > inspector > document > slide size
    I can increase the dpi in photoshop, but it doesn't produce crisp images for obvious reasons.
    You can resample images in editing applications such as Photoshop or Painter but what you are doing is adding non image information to the image to increase pixel count, this is called noise. As you state this is not the procedure to use in your situation.

  • How do you save a transformed image?

    Windows Store App 8.1.
    I have an image that the user has rotated, scaled and clipped etc.  How do you save the transformed image?
    There are solutions of the forums but these use the System.Media.Imaging library that isn't available, classes like the TransformedBitmap etc. are not available.
    I'm playing around with this approach but the decoder throws a "The image format is unknown";
    imageManipulation is UIElement.Image.
    Any ideas on how to achieve the saving of a Transformed image in a 4.5.1 8.1 store app?
    RenderTargetBitmap rtb = new RenderTargetBitmap();
    await rtb.RenderAsync(imageManipulation, (int)imageManipulation.ActualWidth, (int)imageManipulation.ActualHeight);
    IBuffer buffer = await rtb.GetPixelsAsync();
    using (InMemoryRandomAccessStream ras = new InMemoryRandomAccessStream())
    await ras.WriteAsync(buffer);
    await ras.FlushAsync();
    BitmapDecoder dec = await BitmapDecoder.CreateAsync(BitmapDecoder.BmpDecoderId, ras);
    Rob

    Hi,
    You can use BitmapEncoder to apply transforms such as scaling and cropping, set metadata and properties, and edit pixels while preserving any unedited
    data. After transform the data, you can copy the contents from the in-memory stream to the original file’s stream and close all of the streams. That make you can save the encoded image to the file:
    memStream.Seek(0);
    fileStream.Seek(0);
    fileStream.Size = 0;
    await RandomAccessStream.CopyAsync(memStream, fileStream);
    fileStream.Dispose();
    memStream.Dispose();

  • How do I save my video in jpeg format so I can add picture to it and burn a DVD through Photo Explosion version 4

    How do I save my video in jpeg format so I can add picture to it and burn a DVD through Photo Explosion version 4

    LRP
    Thanks for the follow up.
    In Premiere Elements 13/13.1, your export choices are in the Publish+Share section of the project. There are several choices and sub-choices.
    Example: Publish+Share/Computer/and then a list of choices under that, such as, MPEG, AVI, AVCHD, XAVC-S, Windows Media, QuickTime, Image, Audio.
    And each has Presets which define the export settings. Adobe offers default settings which are usually optimized ones. But, it also allows you to customize the preset selected. You do that by clicking on the Advanced Button of the selected preset and customizing the settings under the Video Tab, Audio Tab, and, if applicable, Multiplexer Tab.
    From what you wrote, I thought that you might be asking about exporting a video with a video codec = Photo JPEG.
    To do that you would to to
    Publish+Share
    Computer
    QuickTime
    with Presets = either the one for 4:3 of 16:9 as appropriate for your project,
    and then clicking on the Advanced Button, and then the Video Tab under the Advanced Button.
    Then selecting Photo JPEG for the video codec field.
    Tip: The QuickTime choice is not seen unless you scroll down the list of Computer choices. Use the thin scroll bar to the right of the Computer choices.
    Please explore Premiere Elements 13/13.1's Publish+Share/Disc/DVD with standard or widescreen preset for your creation of the DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc.
    The Premiere Elements timeline destined for this choice could consistent of supported photos and or videos.
    Please consider.
    Any questions and need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.

  • How do you save from Photoshop back to iPhoto?

    How do you save your external edits from Photoshop back to iPhoto?
    Fine, I know how it can be done ONCE : you simply flatten the image and then hit Save, and you see your edited image in iPhoto.
    But, what if you FIRST want to save the .psd document complete with layers outside iPhoto, THEN flatten the image and save as a jpeg back to iPhoto? I tried this yesterday. I saved as a PSD file - with all layers and a new name - to my Pictures folder. Then I flattened the image and wanted to save it to iPhoto, but the temporary iPhoto location had disappeared from the Photoshop Save dialogue and Photoshop now displayed it under the new name.
    This is annoying : you've got to save the PSD document first in order to preserve the layers. But when you do this, you lose the ability to save the image a second time, all layers flattened, back to iPhoto.

    But if I'd flattened the psd without saving it as a psd, I could simply have saved it back to iPhoto (I've done that before).
    Hold on - perhaps that's the answer...
    What if..
    1. I flatten the image and Save it back to iPhoto, then ...
    2. Undo the 'flatten image' in Photoshop, then save THAT version as a psd?
    I'll try this and let you know if it works.
    ETA - Yay it works! Shoulda thought of that right off. I blame toothache

    I scanned the document on an hp injet printer and it was all automatically done by the laptop.  I didn't use image capture, that I know of.  I don't know what that is, or how to utilize it to scan the pages.  I scanned about 10 pages and they went into a folder called scanner output.  I was able to attach that to the email, but then the email could not be sent.  The email tries to send it, then after about 7-8 minutes I get a message that says:

    How do you save a picture from email to the iPhoto?

    Click and hold on the Save button, and a menu appears, listing each attached file’s name along with a Save As button. Select any individual file, and you’ll save just that attachment to disk. But the really nice feature is the final menu item—Add to iPhoto. That’s right; with one button click-and-hold, you can add all of a message’s attached images to iPhoto.

  • How do you save photos from import or Photo Stream to an album?

    How do you save photos from import or photo stream to an album?  I have a MacBook Air (which keeps telling me my start-up disk is full) and I am trying to organize photos so there aren't duplicates and triples.  I have photos in events, last import, photos and albums....I feel like they are all taking up space.  If I move a photo from photo stream to an album, then delete the photo from photo steam its deleted from the album.  That doesn't make sense to me.  There should be a way to clean up photo stream, and events, and last import by putting photos into albums.  Even more bizarre; I imported photos from my 4S, and only a fraction of them transferred over.
    I am completely lost.  Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you!
    sarah

    and I am trying to organize photos so there aren't duplicates and triples.  I have photos in events, last import, photos and albums....I feel like they are all taking up space.
    Sarah,
    Only the photos you are seeing in the events and the Photo Stream will take up space. iPhoto stores each photo only one. After you import it, it will be assigned to one event.
    Then you can use it in many albums and projects. Using the photo this way will only reference the one single copy of the photo in the event. The albums don't store the photos and do not require additional space. If you delete a photo from an event, it will be removed from all albums that have been using the this photos.
    What you are seing are not actually duplicate photos but different ways to access the same photos.
    The "Last event" is the same event as the last one you imported. It is there for a quick access to your recently imported photos.  Photos is a quick access to all photos in your library as an endless stream of photos. These are also no duplicates.
    So if you want to save space and delete photos, do that by browsing your events. Deleting a photo from an event will delete the original image file and remove the photo from all albums, books, and other products. You have only duplicate photos, if you are seing the same photo twice in an event.
    Even more bizarre; I imported photos from my 4S, and only a fraction of them transferred over.
    That is a different problem, but it may be related to to fact that you need to free space.
    If you get a warning, that the system needs space, don't do anything but update the backup of your mac and move files to an external disk to free space.
    It is not save to keep working, when the system is running out of space.
    How much free space do you have? Anything below 15GB free space is really critical.

    In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":
    *do not clear the Site Preferences
    *Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/remove-browsing-search-and-download-history
    Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.
    If you have software like Advanced SystemCare (Surfing Protection feature) that might reset some files to older versions to protect these files against changes then check the settings or uninstall this software.
