How do you SAVE scanned photo to C:/ drive?

My HP Scanner pooped out. I decided to buy an HP printer WITH a scanner as it was the same price. Now, when I scan, it scans into Photoshop and I cannot right click and SAVE AS like I used to!
I have a website and need to save photos in that directory in order to upload to my server. This is a "PAIN in the you know what" as I have spend three hours trying to move this dumb photo! I tried SENDING it to My Documents, but then can't find it!
Any help is greatly appreciated. My next step is contacting HP.
Thank you -

I found if I clicked on the 'scan' icon in my HP photoshop program - it goes right to the scanner... PERFECT!!! I just don't like the Adobe photoshops that automatically load when you install a new printer.
thank you for your help!

  • HT4972 How do you save your photos, Are they saved in the back up?

So you know how when you plug in your apple device the tab for saving your pictures in a
    certain folder comes up,
Well that thing doesnt show up and I dont know how else to save my photos. When you
back up your device on itunes does all my photos in my ipod get saved in there.

    - Photos in the iPod's Camera Roll/Saved Photos album is included in the backup that iTunes and iCloud makes.

  • How do you save documents to a jump drive from a macbook pro?

I'm trying to save something I wrote on my computer to a jump drive. How do I do that?

Find the file(s) you want to save. This sometimes requires opening an additional Finder window.
Drag the file you want and drop it in the open window of the jump drive. The default for drive-to-drive is to replicate on the new drive, leaving the original unchanged. Its Icon (or a plain one) should appear in the window on the destination drive within a few seconds.
NB> when done, you must EJECT the drive, wait a quarter minute, then remove it from the USB port

  • How do you stop scanning of a specific drive on a server?

If you are using just Spiceworks.  No can do.  It's either all or none.  You cant just turn it off for one server.  If you want granular scanning rules, check out Spiceworks Network Monitor.

We are getting alerts that the system drive if full.  How do we stop that drive from being scanned?

  • HOW do you save FCP X to external drives?

How do I set the scratch disk or change where my project is saved in FCP X?

With hair tearing frustration I can second that:
Just freed up 1tb drive, formatted for OSX Extended so we dont get the FAT 4GB file limit,
proceeded to make that my time machine backup, then loaded all my footage (which i archive off my cam manually by copying the BDMV folders, as my JVC only has 32GB internal so i do 'daily' footage copies and erase the cam) onto the drive, ready to use with my amazing new fcpx and, -  Whoa!
The amazement continues as only my moviecore drive (fat32) shows up in fcp, and not my AVCHDCore!!!
In one day of toying around, my meagre 320GB startup disk is so full of needlessly cached video files (which also had to be copied FROM the external disk when log/transfer or import from camera is performed), that the VM storage bound itself into knot and i had to force restart my machine.
While many professionals have workflow issues, FCPX seems great compared with the clunky, premiere style NLE of past versions, its a breeze with the clip/subclip management/linking happening in the background, not to mention proper multitask rendering.
But the orwellian treatment to your loyal customers who proudly use (or, used to) your products in both home and professional environments is staggering.
Please dont americanise your approach to your customers Apple, removing peoples rights and capabilities and telling them you're making it easier for them.
Steve's gone 5 minutes and you guys drop the ball.
    Thouroughly unimpressed.

  • How do you save voicenotes to your hard drive?

I am trying to save my voicenotes from my device to my laptop harddrive using the Media Manager software.  When I did this, it converted these .amr files to .mp3 files.  Now I cannot open or preview these mp3 voicenotes...when I try, I get a "Cannot Find Required Files" message.
Can't I simply save them to my harddrive as .amr files?

DVD Decrypter is definitely NOT legal, besides it's a Windows based app so it wouldn't run on a Mac. Here's the current info on DVD Decrypter.
On 24th of November, 2005, Macrovision Europe acquired full rights to the DVD Decrypter software and have changed its licensing terms. Effective immediately, they have decided to withdraw all distribution rights from all third party companies. Thus, distributing DVD Decrypter is now as illegal as it would be to distribute cracked copies of Windows operating system or pirated copies of games.

  • How do you save photos from import or Photo Stream to an album?

How do you save photos from import or photo stream to an album?  I have a MacBook Air (which keeps telling me my start-up disk is full) and I am trying to organize photos so there aren't duplicates and triples.  I have photos in events, last import, photos and albums....I feel like they are all taking up space.  If I move a photo from photo stream to an album, then delete the photo from photo steam its deleted from the album.  That doesn't make sense to me.  There should be a way to clean up photo stream, and events, and last import by putting photos into albums.  Even more bizarre; I imported photos from my 4S, and only a fraction of them transferred over.
I am completely lost.  Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you!
    sarah

and I am trying to organize photos so there aren't duplicates and triples.  I have photos in events, last import, photos and albums....I feel like they are all taking up space.
    Sarah,
Only the photos you are seeing in the events and the Photo Stream will take up space. iPhoto stores each photo only one. After you import it, it will be assigned to one event.
Then you can use it in many albums and projects. Using the photo this way will only reference the one single copy of the photo in the event. The albums don't store the photos and do not require additional space. If you delete a photo from an event, it will be removed from all albums that have been using the this photos.
What you are seing are not actually duplicate photos but different ways to access the same photos.
The "Last event" is the same event as the last one you imported. It is there for a quick access to your recently imported photos.  Photos is a quick access to all photos in your library as an endless stream of photos. These are also no duplicates.
So if you want to save space and delete photos, do that by browsing your events. Deleting a photo from an event will delete the original image file and remove the photo from all albums, books, and other products. You have only duplicate photos, if you are seing the same photo twice in an event.
Even more bizarre; I imported photos from my 4S, and only a fraction of them transferred over.
That is a different problem, but it may be related to to fact that you need to free space.
If you get a warning, that the system needs space, don't do anything but update the backup of your mac and move files to an external disk to free space.
It is not save to keep working, when the system is running out of space.
How much free space do you have? Anything below 15GB free space is really critical.

  • Help how do you save a still frame of video  as a photo?

Help how do you save a still frame of video as a photo? Thanks

A still frame from an Event:
Put cursor at the frame you want, then right click (or command click) and select "Add Still Frame to Project".
The still frame will be added at the end of the Project.
A still frame from a Project:
Put cursor at the frame you want then right-click (or control-click) and select "Add Freeze Frame". The Freeze frame will be added after the clip.
    In both cases:
Select the still frame (so the yellow band is around it).
Right-click (or control-click) and select "Reveal in Finder".
You will see a JPG file highlighted in the finder.
Drag this file and drop it on your iPhoto icon in the Dock.

  • How do you save a jepeg scanned file to email it?

I scanned a document and the mac saved it as a jpeg file in photosmart utility (colorsync utility?).  I could not email it as an attachment,  and I could not save it as a different type of file.  I could not copy the file to paste it as a word document.  How do you save a jpeg scanned file to email it?

I scanned the document on an hp injet printer and it was all automatically done by the laptop.  I didn't use image capture, that I know of.  I don't know what that is, or how to utilize it to scan the pages.  I scanned about 10 pages and they went into a folder called scanner output.  I was able to attach that to the email, but then the email could not be sent.  The email tries to send it, then after about 7-8 minutes I get a message that says:
"Sending the message content to the server failed.
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be delivered."

  • In iphoto, how do i save a photo after editing, in the same or higher file size, it's saves in a lower size

in iphoto, how do i save a photo after editing, in the same or higher file size, it's saves in a lower size

It's rather more complicated that this.
iPhoto is a lossless editor. You don't lose any quality on your shot in iPhoto.
The file size you see reported is the size of your iPhoto Preview: this is what gets used if you access the data via a media browser. It's a "good-enough-for-most-uses" version of the shot. Email it, upload to websites, use it in Presentation, Word processing file etc
If you want to set the quality yourself then Export the photo using the File -> Export command.
You can choose to export to Jpeg, Tiff or png. Tiff is lossless but the file sizes are up to 10 times larger. Jpeg allows you to choose different qualities: High, Medium or low. The difference is the amount of compression involved. High quality means very little compression. It's not unusual for photos exported at this setting to have a larger file size than the original.
Which setting you choose depends on the use you intend. Further editing, printing then high is important. Sending to Facebook? Well low will do just fine there as they're going to trash the file anyway.
But the key point: the file size only becomes an issue when you export.

    TD
