How do you schedule an on-demand Alert?

I have created an on-demand Alert which I would like to execute every 60mins, how can I schedule this using concurrent manager?
Thanks,
Manish

Thanks for pointing out that part of the Alert users guide.
I have set the following values:
Frequency: Every N Calendar Days
Days: 1
Start Time: 07:00:00
End Time : 20:00:00
Check Interval: 01:00:00
I interpret this as follows: Run this Alert every day, starting at 7am in the morning, every 1 hour, till 8pm at night.
After saving this, should I see a scheduled concurrent request? Because I don't see any and since I set it up today morning, I have not seen any alert checks in the Alert History form.
Thanks for your continued participation,
Manish

SnoozeMaster is now avaiable from the Mac App Store, for MacOS X 10.8 and up.
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/snoozemaster/id614955483?mt=12
It addresses this exact issue. You'll be able to configure different pre-set snooze times, enter custom snooze times when an alarm triggers, etc. It's what snoozing should've been from the get go.

Unfortunatley there are certain repetitions that the iPad can't create. However if you make them elsewhere and import it onto the iPad, it'll respect it. So if you sync with a computer, make your appointment there and then import that onto the iPad and it'll be on your calendar.

The scheduling options on the iPhone are limited to non-existant. You will have to use your Desktop iCal to make any desired repeat options.

  • How can I schedule the Ringer and Alerts volume?

On a daily basis, I turn down the Ringer and alerts volume at night so my alarm clock does not wake me up with a super loud alarm. I then move the volume up before going to work so I can hear my phone ring throughout the day. This same routine happens every work day. I was wondering if there's an app that I can use to schedule how this volume goes up or down? kind of like the Do not disturb... any ideas?
    Thanks!

Get an alarm app that has an independent volume and/or raises the volume over a few minutes (most of them will do this).
Also, you can schedule different alarms for different days (such as M-F then weekends) with different sounds.
    I use NightStand -> http://www.thomashuntington.com/iOS/Nightstand_Central.html

  • How do you schedule an email to be sent at a later time?  Also, canned messaging shortcuts in Apple Mail?

I have heard rumors that this is doable using Automator and iCal.  I have also heard rumors that Apple Scripts are the way to go and I have found a few online (likely from 17 year olds in their basements) -- I must admit, I'm a little leary about copying and pasting a script into my computer.  I'd much rather have detailed instructions on how to set it up myself.
I would be most grateful for some help with this!
    Thank you!!
P.S. Also, if anyone knows if there is a way to use shortcuts in Apple Mail to trigger canned messaging I'd appreciate it.  You can do this with the iPhone (ex: you can set it up so that when you type CB in the text field, it says "I'll have to call you back" or whatever you want it to say).

    +1
Scheduling an email is a deeply important productivity feature that I really hope Apple can incorporate into the next update of Mail.

  • How do you schedule download times?

We have to use Hughes Net. There are severe download penalties if you download in peak times. I cannot add any new programs, download iTunes, software updates without affecting usage. We can download between 2-7 am and I don't wish to stay up to download
Any suggestions other than leaving Hughes, not an option out in the sticks.

The Hughes satellite website says to use a download manager.
Then they say they can't recommend one. Bummer!
    http://www.nationwidesatellite.com/HughesNet/service/HughesNetfair_accesspolicy.asp
But then I see this page mention a HughesNet Downloader?
    http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r24590060-HN9000-Download-Directv-on-demand-movi e-via-HughesNet
You can't schedule anything in itunes. Perhaps you can find a downloader that can do it.

  • How do you schedule an appointment using a relative date?

Is it possible to schedule a meeting using a relative date?  (i.e.  Every 3rd Saturday of each month).  It was very simple to do this on the Blackberry calendar; however, I have not been able to do this using the iphone calendar.

    1. If it is still covered by your Applecare plan then find the website for your local Applestore and look for the link for  "genius bar" appointments. The only way to make an appointment is online.
    2. If it is not covered by an Applecare then you can either make appointment as discussed above and pay Apple to fix or replace it (they choose which) or you can try a third party repair facility.  I've had good luck with PDASmart --  google for their webpage.

  • How do you configure SMTP for emailed alerts?

I'm using the current Mavericks Server. I would like to configure Alerts to email Alerts to me. My server is *not* an email server, so email alerts would have to go out through an external SMTP server. How do I specify the SMTP server that should be used for emailing alerts?

I think the only way to set it up via the GUI is to activate the mail server service and set it to send through the external SMTP server.

  • How do you uninstall or remove custom alert sounds?

I'm using an iMac and I thought I'd try out some new system alert sounds. I hated them and now I can find them to delete them. The alerts show up in system peferences but they're not in the library/sounds folder. I've done a spotlight search for the sound names and nothing come up. Is there a way to remove/delete/uninstall custom system alerts? Help! I hate them!

I have Lion, but run Snow Leopard and always forget that many are forced into Lion.
When you open Finder, do you see the Macintosh HD in the sidebar under Devices?
If not, go to Finder Preferences and check the box next to Hard disks and External disks.
Then select the Mactintosh HD and navigate to the Library / Sound Folder...

  • How do you schedule?

We've been playing around with the different scheduling options. We've bounced between event and time orientated deployments. The time updates seem to be foolproof, but we have a need for immediate deployments in certain cases. Has anyone messed around with the "on boot" or "device connects to network"?

If I want to push a patch immediately, I just use recurring/When a
device is refreshed. Then I go to the machine in ZCM and push a refresh
