How do you setup a single itunes account for a corporation
We are currently in the process of moving forward with our mobile communication devices. Currently we have BlackBerry devices attached to a BES. We have purchased two Iphone 4 devices and are currently using them with much success. However, we are trying to determine the best way to implement them while maintaining some sort of control over them (i.e. one iTunes account). Also, we would like to be able to possibly push certain apps to these devices. Is there a "best practice" for managing this situation?

I assume you do mean a different account and not simply a different iTunes library. Unfortunately, in order to switch accounts, you would need to log out and log in to the second account. -

Pardon me, I am brand new at using an iMac. I understand the concept but I don't know exactly how to "move" the library. I found a shared folder under users on the hard drive. If I move it, won't I have to redirect each iTunes user to the new shared location?
If I point iTunes to anything other than the music folder under that user name, it shows as a "shared library". Preferences still shows it as that users library, regardless of where the advanced gear button says it is pointing to.
Am I asking for too much to have each user control the exact same music files, apps and playlists? I just want the two different itunes sessions to mirror each other without any frequent updating or copying.
We use the same id for itunes music and apps so we could just sync all devices under one iMac user id and not use it under hers. -

An iTunes account is something you log into online to buy music.
An iTunes library is a collection of media and other items (including apps) on your computer. This is what you see when you open iTunes.
So, do you mean account or library? You can set up a new iTunes account but all your purchases made in that account will remain in the old account and cannot be moved. You can set up a new library by starting iTunes and immediately hold down the option key. -
I setup a separate itunes account for my iphone. I put my ipod music onto it. The music will not sync to my iphone. It tells that all info will be lost if I do it. HELP! The music is showing in the library.
you can connect the iPhone to your mac and import those iPhone photos and videos to iPhoto assuming you have iPhoto. You can create a folder and export all those photos to the Finder. Keep safe somewhere. Also keep the iPhoto library for safe keeping. When you restore your iPhone you can sync all those photos back to the iPhone. so you will lose nothing. Just remember when you export from iPhoto select jpeg for photos and original for videos taken with the iPhone.

she now has a new iphone and has linked this to that account and now she receives all my contacts apps etc when she syncs her account.

You can set the calendar to notify you of an event and then have subsequent alerts at 2 hour intervals. A bit clumsy but would work.

I have an address that I use in two different counties. How do I set up two iTunes accounts; one for each country.
iTunes accounts are not designed to be used in multiple countries. It affects a few people but probably makes it simpler for Apple given the complexities of international copyright.
You would have to set up a separate account for each country with a different AppleID. Each account would have to have separate credit card information for a CC issued in that country, with a physical address in each country. If you do this, remember that items purchased under one AppleID are not transferable to another. Then too you will have issues with authorizing your computer for downloads (a 90 day wait period for changing authorizations). There's a host of issues with having purchases scattered between multiple accounts.
You can change country for a particular account, again once every 90 days if I recall correctly. However, that has its own set of issues which people have encountered when trying to do something such as update an app that is only available in the other country.
You could likely make it work 90% but it won't be simple.
Technically you are not supposed to use an account while out of the country. People seem to get away with it but Apple can do things to stop you. E.g., "The iTunes Service is available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Service from outside these locations. I have a similar situation with multiple accounts on a freeserve domain. This all worked fine up with Thunderbird up until about a month ago - not sure exactly when it stopped retrieving any mail apart from the main name items. I've never had to set anything up with the Freeserve/Orange servers as the response suggests - some setting in Thunderbird has been changed!
