How do you show only one caller's video output with four people sharing a video call? i.e. the call originator wants to show a DVD video on a TV screen and the other callers want to view the video on full screen not just one fourth of their screen.

Thought I'd try this just in case they are stripping out attachments.

I'm using iCal to manage several different calendars on different websites and also have different calendars of my own. Currently they all show in iCal and this is getting very difficult to manage. How do I adjust iCal to show only the events associated with one calendar, e.g. the calendar I have clicked on, rather than all of them? Do they all have to show?

Thanks - that's better than nothing, but switching them off/ on is still a bit fiddly as I will want to update different calendars frequently.
I was hoping that it would be possible to set it up to simply show the calendar you had clicked on on at the moment, and also to set a default set of calendars to be on as a group (i.e. those I use to organise my own time).
With one click I could then go from my personal calendars to one used for an external website and back again.

What he said. Or here is a similar approach with a picture.
1. Press the SEND button on every stereo (or mono) guitar track you want to send through the effect. Then select a free bus.
2. Make sure you turn up the amount of send (in db). Holding alt while leftclicking on this circle sets the send level to 0 db wich is good.
3. Open the mixer (Cmd+2). Please see that I here have turned the output off from the stereo guitar track. That way the only output will be the BUS, in your case the AmpTrack bus where all your guitars will pass through. If you want both the original guitar sound AND the Ampfarm effect then just set all outputs on your guitar tracks to Stereo Out, like the AmpF Bus track is set in my picture.
4. Insert your AmpFarm plugin here. I don´t have that plug so I inserted Waves Renes Axe for demo purpose.
Adjust the volume/effect of every guitartrack by turning the circle input shown as 2. in my picture.
I now see that you mentioned Pod Farm, not AmpFarm. But I guess it´s the same trick.

I can close a tab when I have multiple ones open but if I have two windows open and I close one window it closes all other windows. How can I close just one window without shutting down any other windows?

How do you show only undeleted photos in Photostream?

I thought I had read that, with iOS 8 and Yosemite (I'm using the beta), you would be able to keep My Photostream in sync with Aperture (not showing deletions, and showing kept photos as edited). So far that is not the case. I delete 80% of photos that I shoot and edit all the remaining ones, so Photostream is not much good if it just shows all the originals.

A Table Filter allows you to do filtering based on some criteria.

Another approach is to create a dynamic select query that will only show the results you need.

On the bottom bar of the window (on the left iPhoto 11, on the right in other versions) note the slider. Drag it left.

BTW, why you want to display only one item in the list.
If you are sure that the list will be having only one item, why don't you have it as inputText/outputText
How do you filter out the item to be displayed in the list? If that filtering is done on listdatasource bound to the list, the list will automatically show only one item(i.e, the filtered item)

Thanks again for the "close button" addon advice. I tried it but no luck, the close button doesn't appear on tabs but in the toolbar (which I do not display).

Apple changed the save behaviour several times in the past few versions of MacOsX - there is a good article about this:

The trouble is, you should (I know, not much of a help to you at this point) always create backups AND work with versions. So save many versions (x1, x1a, x2, x2a, etc), because when you work within one master file you run the risk of these type of accidents and there is always a tiny change your file becomes corrupt for some external reason. You never know. Disk space is cheap, losing your work is often a real hassle, and can become very problematic when dealing with clients.
So, save many versions, and make backups of your work. And never NEVER open your original files in any other software - always use a duplicate. You never know what that software might do to your files.
Anyway, have you tried searching for the file name on your mac? Maybe, just maybe there is a duplicate lying around somewhere with the layers intact.

Welcome to the Apple community.
iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID.

This the expected behavoir. You uploaded a document containing multiple users and then asked XML DB to delete any documnet that contained a user with the name in question. The problem here is that you are creating a mega document that contains an aggregation of user documents but then trying to work with individual user documents. This is a bad idea.
In general XML does not understand the concept of a collection of documents. It can only operate on one document at a time. Hence the tendancy to aggregate individual documents into a single larger document. Once you have an XML database, you can perform operations on collections of document, as easily as you can perform operations on individual documents, so the need to aggregate the individual documents together disappears.
If you store each user document as a seperate document then your delete will work as expected.
