One concept that is not described well is that your Calendar display is the Union of all the available Calendars selected. You can have lots of calendars open, and the events from each and every one will be shown in the summary Calendar display -- sort of like they were on transparencies overlaid on each other.
Where you put your Master Calendar depends if you want to share your Master Calendar across multiple devices or other Users.
The default calendar you "just create" is strictly private -- not available on any other device or any other User.
To create a shareable Master Calendar, you need to set up an account on a calendar sharing site that is visible on the Internet -- not likely to be your home Mac. You can use Google calendar, Yahoo Calendar, iCloud calendar, any Server that uses CalDav, Microsoft Exchange, and others. Once established that Master Calendar can be accessed from anywhere on the Internet through another computer, an iPhone, or other "smart" devices.

Have you installed the Desktop Application manager that has an icon like this:
And when open to the Apps tab, looks something like this
This is where you install Photoshop CC from. If on Windows 7, you'll find find the Photoshop icon in Start > All Programs. If Windows 8.1, got to Start screen and start typing 'Photoshop'. If Mac, I have no idea.

You must activate it by syncing it to iTunes on a computer. An Apple Store can do it for you - or anybody with a computer that meets the minimum requirements and has iTunes 10.2 on it can activate it for you.
If you have someone else activate it, bear in mind that when you do finally sync to your computer, iTunes is going to tell you that all content will be erased because you already set it up on another computer with another iTunes library. Your iPad will sync to one iTunes library only. That is way they are designed to perform.
You CAN transfer any purchases that you make on the iPad to your iTunes library when you perform your first sync with your own computer, however, and I would strongly suggest that you do that when you get the chance.
If you do set it up with another computer, I would keep the purchases and downloads to a minimum so that keeping all of your data is not a big problem when you finally sync to your own PC.

During installation wizard asked you about password for SYS and SYSTEM user, you had to set it. If you forgot you can loggin to ORACLE via SQL plus without password:
c:\>SQLPLUS / sys as sysdba
after connect you can set new password for any user, for example (SYSTEM user):
ALTER USER SYSTEM identified by NEW_PASSWORD;
After this you can login to APEX (Internet enviroment)
Remember Oracle it's not only Internet frontend, it's huge tools with many functions. If you need study Oracle you need many time and zest but it is worth-while.
Yes Oracle XE is free (read licence agreement).

There is a VI called "dsc_TagEditorLauncher.vi" under "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\project\lvdsc" folder that can be used to launch the TCE programmatically. I hope this helps.
