Feeling stupid. Ran old Photoshop. Finally subscribed to Creative cloud. Have downloaded Photoshop, but can't for the LIFE of me see how to start using it??!

What operating system are you using?
Have you installed the Desktop Application manager that has an icon like this:
And when open to the Apps tab, looks something like this
This is where you install Photoshop CC from. If on Windows 7, you'll find find the Photoshop icon in Start > All Programs. If Windows 8.1, got to Start screen and start typing 'Photoshop'. If Mac, I have no idea.

You mentioned you have downloaded the software. So you need to click on one of the files that is a .exe file.
Alternatively you can try re-downloading it from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.

Which product package did you purchase? Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 10, both in the same box, or a separate box for Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements? You must activate it by syncing it to iTunes on a computer. An Apple Store can do it for you - or anybody with a computer that meets the minimum requirements and has iTunes 10.2 on it can activate it for you.
If you have someone else activate it, bear in mind that when you do finally sync to your computer, iTunes is going to tell you that all content will be erased because you already set it up on another computer with another iTunes library. Your iPad will sync to one iTunes library only. That is way they are designed to perform.
You CAN transfer any purchases that you make on the iPad to your iTunes library when you perform your first sync with your own computer, however, and I would strongly suggest that you do that when you get the chance.
If you do set it up with another computer, I would keep the purchases and downloads to a minimum so that keeping all of your data is not a big problem when you finally sync to your own PC.

During installation wizard asked you about password for SYS and SYSTEM user, you had to set it. If you forgot you can loggin to ORACLE via SQL plus without password:
c:\>SQLPLUS / sys as sysdba
after connect you can set new password for any user, for example (SYSTEM user):
ALTER USER SYSTEM identified by NEW_PASSWORD;
After this you can login to APEX (Internet enviroment)
Remember Oracle it's not only Internet frontend, it's huge tools with many functions. If you need study Oracle you need many time and zest but it is worth-while.

There is a VI called "dsc_TagEditorLauncher.vi" under "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\project\lvdsc" folder that can be used to launch the TCE programmatically. I hope this helps.
