Tried to set up new iPhone 5c and restore from previous icloud settings. Phone is stuck on loading bar and if you do a hard restart won't fix it

What's a "transformer on your phone"? Unless your iPhone is jailbroken and/or you loaned it to someone, it's highly unlikely that your iPhone got hacked.

When I import pictures into Lightroom 1.1 they all automatically get adjusted to be much brighter. How do I stop this? The DEVELOP SETTINGS DIALOG in the IMPORT PHOTOS pop up box is set to NONE. I don't think it's a color management issue as the images are imported with a normal brightness/color balance and then get their settings changed one by one. Opening an image in Photoshop CS3 with the EDIT A COPY WITH LIGHTROOM ADJUSTMENTS radio selected opens up the modified brightened image. Opening that same image in Photoshop CS3 with the EDIT ORIGINAL radio selected opens a normal image with correct brightness/color balance.
This is driving me mad! I don't want these adjustments. Please help!

As to where it's located, I would like the preferences to be distributed around the application rather than concentrated in one place. I agree with you that this one should be in the import dialog.

These screenshots really bug me, especially when it comes to safari. I use safari daily and sometimes I stumble upon rather frightning images. Because.the screenshot that appears when you open an app is always a random snapshot of when you used the app in the past (I sometimes see screenshots that are over a year old), my biggest fear is that a scary picture I looked at in the past may appear when I open safari in the future. Jumpscare.
aside from that, this could also be a security violation, as a picture of your login information foryour bank may aappear at any time. This is especially dangerous if your iPhone is in the hands of another person.

If you are talking about the App Switcher, there's no way to disable the displayed screenshot. If you don't want to see the "scary image", browse to another website. I have Google set as one of my favorites...when I shut down Safari, I just hit the Google favorite so the next time I open Safari, it opens to Google. I've never heard of nor experienced random screenshots popping up when opening Safari.

I don't always want iTunes to come up, only for syncing, when I plug in my iPhone or iPad. I most often just download photos using Image Capture and don't need iTunes for that.
I see nothing in iTunes preferences (where it should be you would think) about disabling iTunes from starting up when you plug in the iPhone.

Ever since I upgraded to Version 10 the Firefox "Welcome" tab loads when I open Firefox along with my home page.

Check to make sure you didnt set the "Welcome" tab as a homepage.

Select Default as the Homepage, restart Firefox as see if the "Welcome" tab loads still.

There are two different topics in this thread, and two separate "sync photo" issues with iPhone.
1) Syncing photos to iPhone, similar to the process if you had an iPod. This is handled as mentioned above, from within iTunes.
2) Syncing photos from iPhone, as with any camera. This is handled from within iPhoto, also as mentioned above.
I just wanted to point out that these are two independent processes, able to be modified separately.
If you have cleared out the iPhone and/or not taken any more pictures, it will not cause iPhoto to pop up.

Calendar is incessantly posting error messages that it cannot change or delete an event on my Exchange calendar. I have tried the "revert to server, try again, and ignore" more times than I can count. I even deleted the exchange from my connection and reinstalled without help. Even when I have deleted the Exchange, it continues to have this error window every 60 seconds. I am ready to stop using the computer just for the stress of it. A while ago I setup Windows so Outlook and Firefox opened automatically when I log on. Now I want to stop FF from opening automatically. I have gone into the Startup folder and removed the shortcut to FF several times but it keeps coming back. I changed the name of Mozilla Firefox in the Windows Programs Directory to xxMozilla Firefox and that didn't keep it from loading. If necessary, I will remove FF from my computer altogether but I would rather not do that.

Aaarg! I tried Matt's suggestion of using msconfig, restarted my computer, and it seemed to solve the problem. Today when I turned on the computer it hung up before loading Windows. I had to use the F12 button to get it to load. I did and it did and Firefox did not load.
Now, this evening, I turned on the computer, the startup procedure was normal, and there's Firefox fired up and ready to go!

I have itunes 10.5 and I'm trying to download the new IOS5 software to my iphone. I keep getting an error message saying there is not enough space to backup, but itunes backups anyway and then all the space ends up running out and I have to do a system restore. I'm on windows xp and I want to find a way to stop the backup process completely. Any ideas?

The me.com website is not designed for or intended to be accessed by iOS devices. Apple provides support in iOS or seperate Apps for accessing all aspects of MobileMe except for the Accounts section.
Use MobielMe as intended and you'll have no problems.

Even if you use a different browser to get access to me.com on iOS, you'll find most of it is unusable.
Other websites that present you with the mobile version have been programmed to do so by their developers. They specifically look for users accessing from 'mobile' devices and switch to the mobile site. Many such sites provide a link to go back to the 'full' site, if not, there's not a lot you can do except use a browser that can pretend not to be a mobile browser.
