How do you take songs off in disk mode?

How do I get songs off my iPod Mini with another program (I have iPod Access) when it is in disc mode?
My iPod has been acting up the last month or so and I want to get the songs safely on my computer before I have to restore.

Have you tried using the "Help" facility within iPod Access for instructions? Failing that you could try the Findley Designs Support page: Support - If experiencing problems with iPod Access:
There is also a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes

I want to make more room for movies, how do I remove songs from my Ipad without removing them from Itunes?
    Thanks

If you remove songs form the iPad that does not affect anything in iTunes on your computer.
Tap the Songs tab in the Music App. You can swipe across a song on the songs list and a red delete button will pop up.
Tap the album tab in the Music App. Hold down on an album icon. The X to delete will pop up.
If the music as synced from iTunes - You can also connect the iPad to the computer, launch iTunes, select the iPad under the devices heading, click on the Music Tab and uncheck all of the songs or albums that you want to remove from the iPad and then click on Apply in the lower right corner.

For iTunes purchases, you can transfer them back to iTunes by plugging  your iPod into her iTunes library and choosing File -> Transfer Purchases.
See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying non=iTunes purchased content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

How can you delete songs off the ipod without deleting songs off your itunes library?  My son's ipod automatically synced all the songs in my library to his ipod which he now wants to get rid of.  Is there a way to delete them all without me having to erase my library?

Do not select the songs to sync, then sync.

You don't.  Unless they were purchased from the iTunes store, then you can go to File > Transfer purchases.  Or you can right click (ctrl click if you're on a Mac) on the name of the device in the source list in iTunes and then choose Transfer purchases.

  • How can you get songs off your IPAD if you have it on there two times

I have the same song on my Ipad two times how can I get them off.

On the page where you have your songs, on the right hand side of the song, swipe your finger to the right and the delete button will appear.  It only takes a quick swipe.  If you hold your finger in on the song first, it will start playing.

  • How do I take songs off IPOD?

I share a library with my 13 year old daughter and I dont want Hannah Montana on my IPOD. How do I take those songs off? They went on when I synched the IPOD.

If you are sharing the same library, then set up a smart playlist and change your iPod to sync only that(those) playlist(s). For example, if Hanna Montana is the only thing you don't want, then make a smart playlist where the rule is artist IS NOT Hanna Montana and now that playlist will basically be your entire library except Hanna and you can sync that to the iPod instead.

  • How do you Take songs from one iTunes library and put them on another(Mac)

Well i have some songs that i don't really listen to anymore so i don't want them on my library or any of my ipods but i don't want to delete them because i bought them so i want to put them on another itunes library i created but i cant figure out how to take them out of my library and put them on the other one
    how do you do that?

Open your other library, go to File>Add to library and navigate to the folder containing the files you want to add. Once they are in your new library delete them from the other library making sure that when you get the prompt to move them to trash say no. You should also back your purchases up to disc or to an external drive so you don't lose them of anything happens to your hard drive:
