How do you toggle between windows in Parallels?

I tried CTRL tab but it didn't work.

If you want to switch between windows in any Mac application, it's command-`. Between applications would be command-tab (not control-tab). If you're talking about Windows applications running within Parallels, that's a Windows question that would need to be asked on Microsoft's forums.

What I need to do is have a shortcut to switch between windows in the same programme. For example if I'm in Excel and have 5 windows open I want to be able to scroll between each window of Excel only with a shortcut.
Please help!

Command and ~ keys to tab between open windows.
Technically it is the Grave Accent ` (aka reverse quote) under the tilda ~ key. Tilda ~ is shifted, and Grave Accent ` is not.

• Toggling Between Windows

Hi All,
Does anyone know if there is a key function that enables you to toggle between windows of 1 program. For example toggle between all your open Safari browser pages? Something like "apple + tab" but for toggling between open windows in one application?
Many thanks,

When a community member posts a question as a topic starter, other members can post an answer in reply. Please note that not all replies actually answer the question.
In some cases, an answer can be just some hints or helpful information to help the poster solve an issue. The originator of the topic can mark such a reply as a Helpful post. In other cases, a community member may post a specific answer that provides a solution to the original poster's issue. The originator can then mark this reply as a Solved post.
The original topic poster has the choice to mark replies as either Helpful or Solved, or not mark a reply at all. In addition, the originator can end the discussion by marking the topic as Answered, which provides a visual cue—a green star—to the community members. • HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE WINDOW SIZE OF EBUSINESS SUITE ON STARTUP

HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE WINDOW SIZE OF EBUSINESS SUITE ON STARTUP
How do you change the window size for Ebusiness Suite after you log in. Currently it displays at 100% of the screen. I want to set it smaller, at some %

I don't know if there is a way to set this. Some user's may prefer different sizes of window, depending on their job duties. For example, we have 170 Systems document management integrated with purchasing and payables so users shrink the Oracle window to fill about 60% of the screen while 170 uses the remaining 40% to display the scanned document.

• HT5610 How can You authorise your Windows Vista computer??? I do not get this drop down menu nowI cannot get this here, have been trying for hours, why is this so uncooperative? My first impression of I tunes is not so good after that.

How can you authorise your windows vista computer to play stuff you downloaded from itunes??? I cannot get this drop down menu shown on your support pages whatever I do. I have been trying for ages. This is not a good first impression.

Authorize a Mac or PC
Review the following before you authorize a computer:
You can authorize up to five computers with your Apple ID.
You must authorize your computer to download past purchases, use Home Sharing, or use the Automatic Downloads setting.
You can play unprotected music that's in the AAC file format without authorizing your computer. This includes iTunes Plus tracks and content from sources other than the iTunes Store, like your audio CDs.
To authorize a computer, follow these steps:
Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Authorize This Computer from the menu bar.
You may need to show the menu bar to see this option in Windows. In earlier versions of iTunes, you can access this option from the Advanced menu.
Enter your Apple ID and click Authorize.
If your Apple ID uses an expired MobileMe account, you can still authorize your computer.
In some cases, iTunes may ask you to authorize the computer again. iTunes should use the same authorization as before if the computer is in your list of authorized computers.
Learn what to do if iTunes repeatedly asks you to authorize when you try to play your content.
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1420
Note : If you are Unable to see the Store Tab on your iTunes then click anywhere on your iTunes and press
Ctrl + B key on your keyboard once and you should be able to see the Store tab in your iTunes.

• How do you get the Windows side on a Mac?

How do you get the Windows side on a Mac?

There is no Windows side on a Mac unless you install a version of Windows in a virtual machine or use Boot Camp to partition the drive and install Win 7 (if you are using a Macbook Pro that came with OS X Lion installed).
If you use a virtual machine you can install just about any version of Windows that you have a retail disc of and a legal license key to go with it.

• How do you toggle a microphone directly between enhanced and non-enhanced?

Apparently mixing calls between Microphone.getMicrophone() and Microphone.getEnhancedMicrophone() on the same device doesn't work very well. Take the following code:

<s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx" minWidth="955" minHeight="600" creationComplete="onCreationComplete()" click="Microphone.getMicrophone().setLoopBack(true);">
<fx:Script>

import mx.controls.Alert;
private function onCreationComplete():void
Microphone.getEnhancedMicrophone().setLoopBack(true);

</fx:Script>
</s:Application>
You will be able to hear yourself speak at first, but as soon as you click the app, you will no longer be able to hear your voice. I have also seen this sort of thing in other scenarios.
To make a long story short, if you call getEnhancedMicrophone() for one device, then try to call getMicrophone() for that same device, the device will stop providing any audio input. The same is true vice versa. However if you call getEnhancedMicrophone() for one device, then getMicrophone() for a different device, then come back to the first and call getMicrophone() for it, the device will work just fine.
Why? Is there any way to just toggle between enhanced and non-enhanced settings for the same device, without reaching out to an unrelated device? Thanks!

On your Microphone reference you have these constants you can set your options to:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/media/MicrophoneE nhancedMode.html
As you can see there, MicrophoneEnhancedMode.OFF disables enhanced mode. You would set your Microphone references .mode property to equal that to disable enhanced, or use one of the other relevant options to enable it. Thus, you should always use enhanced so you can toggle it.

• How do you create a windows partition?

I have a conference call with a microsoft program. I was told that I need to create a windows partition. How do I do this??
Thank you!

Windows on Intel Macs
There are presently several alternatives for running Windows on Intel Macs.
Install the Apple Boot Camp software. Purchase Windows XP w/Service Pak2, Vista, or Windows 7. Follow instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and installing Windows. Boot Camp enables you to boot the computer into OS X or Windows.
Parallels Desktop for Mac and Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7. Parallels is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
VM Fusionand Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7. VM Fusion is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
CrossOver which enables running many Windows applications without having to install Windows. The Windows applications can run concurrently with OS X.
VirtualBox is a new Open Source freeware virtual machine such as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris. It is not as fully developed for the Mac as Parallels and VM Fusion.
Note that Parallels and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc. There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization. The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system. See MacTech.com's Virtualization Benchmarking for comparisons of Boot Camp, Parallels, and VM Fusion. Boot Camp is only available with Leopard or Snow Leopard. Except for Crossover and a couple of similar alternatives like DarWine you must have a valid installer disc for Windows.
You must also have an internal optical drive for installing Windows. Windows cannot be installed from an external optical drive.
Open Boot Camp Assistant in the Utilities folder. In the opening window click on the Print documentation button. Read documentation carefully then proceed to use Boot Camp Assistant to create your Windows partition if that's what you choose to do.

• How do you communicate between flash and java?

Hi,
How can you pass parameters between a Flash movie and a Java applet running on the same machine? I would like to do this without opening a new browser window or putting parameters in the url of the browser window that is running the Flash movie.

Flash supports Javascript , check out actions.
set the URL like you would the Javascript for
making a method call from a webpage.
make sure that Scriptable has been set to true.

• How do you toggle effects on/off?

So if I am dialing in some contrast or grain with the slider, how do I toggle that slider on/off so I can compare easily, without having to slide it back in forth.

There's no toggle switch for before / after. But there is a before / after feature in the Develop Module where the two versions are displayed side by side.
It's on the bottom left below the image. See Screen shot. If you click on the small triangle you can change how the two versions are displayed.
For more info: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/lightroom/using/WS9454F432-7332-423a-8A9A-F9FB0DD68881.html
Further, you can toggle between before / after if you click on the corresponding step in the History Panel.

• Simple-how can I toggle between screens

Ok...this is really simple, or it should be. Can I change a preference anywhere on my Mac to where I can not only toggle between programs with the "apple key + tab" shortcut, but toggle between open windows within a program?
For example, if i have iTunes open and Safari open I can toggle (switch screens/windows) between the two with the "apple key + tab" command but I cannot toggle between screens WITHIN a program. If I have Word open and I am working on two documents and I want to go from the forward window that I am working in to the window behind it I have to manually, with the mouse point and click on the window at the back.
Is there a preference I can change somewhere on my Mac or no? I've looked but maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
Curlz

Who says it's undocumented? It is documented several places. In Mac Help, search for "Keyboard shortcuts"; select "Full keyboard navigation" or "Shortcuts for windows" -- this is documented both places and probably others as well.
Also, in System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts, you can change shortcuts, or disable them, or just see what they are currently set to.

• How can you toggle H264 on and off in a NetStream?

Hello. Let's say you have the following code that switches your stream to use H264:
var h264Settings:H264VideoStreamSettings = new H264VideoStreamSettings();
h264Settings.setProfileLevel(H264Profile.BASELINE, H264Level.LEVEL_2);
stream.videoStreamSettings = h264Settings;
Let's say you want the user to be able to keep clicking a button that will switch the stream back and forth between this and its default, non-H264 settings. How can you do this? I don't want to recreate the NetStream or have multiple NetStreams or anything else really sloppy like that. I tried looking up the videoStreamSettings property in the main docoumentation for a NetStream (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/net/NetStream.htm l), but they don't even formally list it for some reason. Thanks!

There is no way, other than your current approach, to do this.
You can submit feedback to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.
