I tried to copy and paste it but that didn't work.
I didn't want to redraw the entire picture in in pen again in Flash (so that I could later animate the drawing), so I was wondering how I could transfer the pen tool drawings from Photoshop to Flash?

What you are doing is not only to install a newer version of PSE, it's also to migrate to a new computer.
The general solution is to do a full organizer backup on an external drive and do an organizer restore to the new computer (or new drive).
Use Backup, Restore to move catalog | Organizer | Elements 6 or later
The problem is that since PSE5 is an old version working with a different database engine, you must first use a conversion utility to create a PSE13 version.

Albums are lists which are stored into catalogs. They don't contain the images, they just keep a pointer to where the pictures are stored in your computer and the order to display them.
So your problem is with catalogs, not with albums.
If you have missed the message to convert the old current catalog at installation time, that's not a problem. You can use the menu File in the organizer, select 'Manage catalogs' which will show a 'convert' button. That is also necessary if you have more than one catalog.
The catalog is not a single file, it's a folder containing the main database, catalog.pse13b as well as other files and subfolders. The location of your current catalog can be found with the menu Help/System Info of the organizer. If you want to use another catalog, the organizer will search for other catalogs and provide a list to choose from.

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload. Sign in and authorize the computer to your account before syncing.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
If you have an iOS device that syncs with contact & calendar data on your computer you should migrate this information too. If that isn't possible create a dummy entry of each type in your new profile and iTunes should offer to merge the existing data from the device into the computer, otherwise the danger is that it will wipe the information from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data. Okay, seems I've stumbled upon an ugly workaround but it works for me. I'm using Windows 8.1. Go to the install directory, i.e." C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroApp\ENU". Create a new subfolder (I used "Disabled"). Move 3 files from the "ENU" folder into the new "Disabled" folder: AppCenter_R.aapp & Home.aapp & Viewer.aapp. Open a PDF and no more Tool Pane! I originally moved just the "Viewer" file but if you clicked on "Home" or "Tools" on the toolbar you couldn't go back to the "Document." Moving all 3 files takes care of that issue. Like a lot of people I don't and won't ever use any of the tools. I just want a reader. Let me know if this works for you.

Hold shift when you launch iTunes. It will let you chose a library. Chose the one one the slave drive from your old computer and it will look just like it did when you last used it on the old one.
It will be located in your User folder under My Music\iTunes

All you have to do is connect your iPad to the computer using the USB cable. If it has photos in the Camera Roll it will be recognized by the computer as a camera and you can load the photos to your computer.
