I downloaded itunes 11.0.1 for windows 8. But when i try to add songs or a playlist to my iphone it wont let me. I have seen on other discussions where you click the "add to" under "done". But i do not have that option? HELP

I'm having the same problem. In the video tutorial, it actually shows how to manually add items to your device...
When the iPhone is attached, click on its icon in the top menu bar.
The next menu bar has an option 'On This iPhone' - click on this.
Then click on Add To... (which is on the right within the new menu)
Your iPhone is then displayed in the right column, with all the contents.
You should then be able to drag and drop any items directly to the iPhone.
HOWEVER:
I can get as far as number 4, when trying to drag and drop absolutely nothing happens...
So, in theory it's possible - getting it to work however....

Syncing music and movies is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred from a device to a computer.
