How do you turn off Apple DVD Player?

While it's running that is. I have yet to work it out, and always have to force-quit!

Here are some keys and combos to remember when you run this application:
-first, remember that it is built on top of quicktime, so many of the shortcuts are very similar(not always exactly the same).
-Using spacebar will play\pause, and left and right arrow keys will move, respectively, (left)backward and (right)forward in the movie, usually by each scene chapter(similar to the way most dvd's let you select a scene, arrows use those same places in their movement).
-Using the command key(the one with the apple and\or small star, right next to the spacebar) activates a new set of command options that are usually just shorter versions of using File menu commands. Using command key with the number 2, for instance, will set the window at about half your screen(vertically), giving you access to all the menu bars and your dock. Alternatively, using command key and the zero key will set the windo to full screen mode again.
-For most other menu commands, there are shortcuts for the keyboard. As Tom has posted, the command key with the letter q makes most applications quit immediately. However, sometimes the application stops responding to user commands and must be forced out of operation by using the force-quit.
