Today i started a search, but could not get any results. It said safesearch was on and words I used needed to be changed. I never turned it on, so I don't know how to turn it back off. Any help would be appreciated.

Pull down the window then scroll to the very bottom. You will see an "Edit" button. Click on that to customize the view.

When done with Apple TV, how do you turn it off?

Closest to Off is "Standby" which I beleive you'll find at the end of the Settings Menu OR the Settings > General Menu.
You can also set it to auto Sleep at a small interval ( I think 15 mins is the shortest ) which does the same thing automatically.
By the by, It's worth familiarizing yourself with the Settings menu since there are many options there of interest.

The Verizon Cloud is a great application as it syncs multiple facets of your device to our Cloud storage. If you ever need to activate an alternative device the Cloud will make it easier to restore information from your previous devices.
The application is one you download from the Google Play Store or Apples app store, depending on which phone you have so you can delete the application from your phone if you are not using it.

How do you turn resume off in 10.8.3

There are several methods availalbe for other OS versions, but I haven't found a solution for 10.8.3. Not sure why Apple keeps hiding how to turn this feature off. Maybe I'm missing something but if you set your home page why wouldn't you want to start at your homepage when you open Safari?

Thanks - I guess I'm getting old, "Close windows when quitting an application" didn't sound like it would have solved my problem. I would have expected to see the word "resume" in the selection. Oh well....

I have two iMac (intel) sitting side by side and was wondering how to turn off the remote so it only controls one computer and not both. Thank you in advance. Mike

Sounds like a great tip, only it does not work!
From the Apple Support page; the correct way:
Pairing your remote with your iMac
Invade your iMac's personal space by getting up close to it (about 3 or 4 inches away).
Point the remote at the Apple logo on the front of your iMac.
Press and hold the Menu and Next/Fast-forward buttons simultaneously on the remote for 5 seconds.
Works like a charm!

There is no such thing ... you have to click on autofill to ...er... autofill. Are you talking about the check boxes at the bottom of teh Contents pane which say things like "replace all items while autofilling"??

It's annoying when you don't want to bebug, I agree, but the
situation
you're describing is really useful when you need to debug
Flash content in a
browser. ;)

Assuming you have the FLA source file, open it in the Flash
authoring
tool and head over to File > Publish Settings. Select the
Flash tab, then
uncheck the "Permit debugging" checkbox, then republish the
SWF.

Hi, newbie here, please be patient . Is it possible to turn on a Mac mini (late 2012) with a remote? With ip control? Do you ever turn your mini off?
I tried putting some settings in energy savings, to turn off the mini, but if the mini is a sleep when it's supposed to turn off, according to the schedule, it doesn't work.....I don't have a keyboard for it, only a mouse and the iOS app Rowmote..... Do I really need an apple remote to turn it on/off?

Buy a cheap keyboard for your Mini. I can't imagine you can get full use out of it without a keyboard. There are decent Bluetooth keyboards available for under $20. But if you have a mouse, you can turn it on or off or to sleep with the mouse using the appropriate menu option under the Apple Menu in the upper-left corner of your screen.
