How do you update Adobe CC programs?

In previous versions, our systems were notified when an update was available for Adobe programs but not anymore. I'm not sure if we've changed some settings on the packager side or not but any attempt to run the Adobe Application Manager or the Adobe Updater it brings up a login window to Creative Cloud. In the past, it always bypassed the login and updated the programs anyway. Any ideas?
Also, what's the procedure for Macs?

Sounds like you're distributing Flash Player within your organization. If so, you'll need to license Flash Player for this purpose. Once you apply for the license, you'll receive an email with a unique URL to download Flash Player, which can be used in offline systems. Please see Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe for information on licensing Flash Player. The Adobe Flash Player Administration Guide for Flash Player | Adobe Developer Connection contains information on various methods of distributing Flash Player within your organization.

I have tried to do the update when I first turn the computer on, go directly to Photoshop, go to update and click on that, get new screen, close Photoshop, and I still get a message to close the already closed program. I believe I have to open Photoshop to get to the update area, so I don't know how to get around this issue. I hope someone can help me.

Thank you for answering. However, when I opened the Task Manager and looked at all the processes that were running, the only things running were the Task Manager and the browser. None of the Photoshop programs were running. So, do you have any other suggestions?

How can I update Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard

How can I update Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard after installing it on Windows 7? Ive tried a few AcrobatUpd8**_all_incr.msp files but I get an error that the program to upgrade may be missing. I cannot afford to upgrade it to X* when this works for what I need it for which is simply to break up multi page documents created by Quickbooks.

Certainly, the printer driver in Acrobat 8.0 cannot install in Windows 7 64 bit - it wasn't written too. Apparently, though, 8.1 is capable of installing the printer driver.
Unfortunately, Adobe have taken down the page with release notes. But you may need to use the *efg* (English, French, German) versions. See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/update-patch-acrobat-reader-7.html
After 8.1 there is a "universal" (all language) update.

How do you get Adobe Reader to open if it showes it is downloaded, I have tried to open it several ways and nothing happens. I need PDF, HELP!!

It is showing in downloads that it is there but when I double click on it nothing happens. Nothing at all! It shows the file size and when I look in Spotlight it comes up as the tophit and when I click on it it opens the Adobe Reader icon and shows the file size and I double click and NOTHING happens. I saw in some other posts to use review by Apple. I don't even know where Review is located. I downloaded 10.8.3 last night as it told me to UPDATE. I had 10.8.2. Thanks so much for your reply. YouTube does not use Adobe Reader. Videos do not use Adobe Reader.
Adobe Reader is used only to show files in a special format called "PDF".
What you are having problems with is probably Adobe Flash Player.
So, if you are trying to solve problems with Adobe Flash Player by downloading Adobe Reader, or even Adobe Acrobat, it isn't going to help you in the end. Is that what is happening (we can't really tell without screen pictures, but it seems a likely guess).

You'll need either the installation media (if you bought from a retailer), or a downloaded installer. If you don't have the CD, you can download Acrobat from this links in this document: Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X - Adobe.
It's OK to keep it on the other computer; your license allows you to install it on up to two computers. But, if you'd like you can deactivate it on that old computer, which would free up that activation for use on yet another computer. Please see Activation & Deactivation Help - Adobe
You'll need your serial number to activate on the new computer.

foreground, not behind the 10 or so windows already open.
I have been researching this for some time now with no solution.
If the answer is that "IT CAN'T BE DONE", then that's fine. At least

I guess that was a bug in that version .
It does not happen in Acrobat XI and Acrobat DC .The window comes right in front of everything else .
I wonder that was a bug and that was fixed the other versions.
You could upgrade to the latest Acrobat version ,i.e Acrobat DC and you would not experience this anymore .

You will have to upgrade to 10.6 to use the latest flash.10.5 Leopard was based on Power PC code and was written to be able to run on both Power PC and Intel processors. 10.6 Snow Leopard has completely rewritten code and only runs on Intel Macs. So anything written to run on 10.5 has twice the code needed for one written for 10.6 or newer.

How do you update icloud with contacts transferred to Iphone by Verizon? The only contacts that show up in icloud are the ones I entered myself to the phone.

You'll need to copy them to iCloud in order to see them on your PC. To do this, do the following:
Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (they will still be in iCloud).
Download the app My Contacts Backup. Use this to backup the remaining contacts on your phone (from Verizon) as a vCard attachment to an email that you send to yourself. Confirm that you have received the email.
Go to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On.
Open the My Contacts Backup email and tap the attachment to import the Verizon contacts back to your phone. They should now be in iCloud, and appear on your PC. You may see duplicate contacts on your phone because you are still viewing both the contacts from Verizon as well as the copies now in iCloud.
Open Contacts on your phone and tap Groups, tap the Groups that were imported from Verizon so they are unchecked and tap Done. This will hide them from view and illiminate the duplicates.

For instance if at 6:01am and never reboot phone; I launch S Health after a factory reset and it says 'there is an update to S Health' but I dismiss it....How do I update that app again?

As a very last resort, you can hold the power button for 10 seconds to force-stop the entire system. But stopping all processes (even the normal OSX routines "write" operations) can leave your system in need of file-system (but not HD physical) repair.
