How do you upgrade TP Link w8960N on a mac

Is anyone else having this problem? I bought a TP Link w8960n modem/router version 3, but every now and then my Time Capsule drops its signal. I am trying to upgrade the TP Link's firmware through its website which clearly states Mac users are supported. However, having successfully downloaded the software, I cannot find an app that opens it. I contacted TP Link and they suggested updated firmware via Windows which I have also tried to no avail through Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro. I have been wrestling with this problem for months now. Can anyone help, please?

To update the router you do that from the Router Setup pages. Open a Web browser and type in the IP address of the router and Log in to it, Username (If needed) and main Router password. Once logged in go to the system pages (or something like that. I don't know TP Link pages) and there should be a section to Update Firmware and a button to point it to that file you downloaded from their site.
Basically only the Router can Read that file, and or only the router Needs to read that file. Opening it on your computer isn't needed nor will that update the router.
It is all done On the Router.

Retail Leopard disc looks like this;
(The disc itself has the same logo). If the one you've got is grey it simply won't work.
Given the retail and second hand prices of Leopard (usually some on Amazon MP), you'll probably find it cheaper to go directly to Snow Leopard, although there could be software updates and printer driver problems that could nullify the difference.

As long as they're all logged into the Mac App store with the same Apple ID, you can re-download the installer to all the Macs.
Or you can save a copy of the installer file before you run it and use that to update the other Macs. The ML installer file will appear in your Applications folder when it's done downloading. Copy it to another location (don't move it).
If you don't copy it before you upgrade, it will disappear when ML is finished installing.

You will have to upgrade to 10.6 to use the latest flash.10.5 Leopard was based on Power PC code and was written to be able to run on both Power PC and Intel processors. 10.6 Snow Leopard has completely rewritten code and only runs on Intel Macs. So anything written to run on 10.5 has twice the code needed for one written for 10.6 or newer.
