He meant, do you have a system backup via Time Machine, Carbon Copy Cloner, etc.? That's the shortest way to restore your complete system and data when (not if) your hard drive dies.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then you could try deleting it from your iTunes library and then redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

in that same vein, what if iTunes was having a fit over your credit card, and after you update the information, it downloads a game 5 times!!?? Is there anyway to dispute this and return the 3 uses you have left?

tripple click the home button and then turn voice over off... you can also access this from setting>general>accessibility right under vision

How would you use Aperture 3 Labels & Flags in your workflow?

Now that A3 has the ability to use Labels & Flags, I'm trying to incorporate their use into my workflow but am struggling to find the most effective way.
I've used the star rating for selections & refining the selections. In A2 I used keywords on images to indicate actions on the images, however I never thought this was an elegant solution because unless I forget to remove them they stay with the images as I export them. Fundamentally though I think of Keywords as attributes of the image, so using keywords to describe actions was always strange.
One thing I liked with this workflow though was I could place multiple "actions" on an image since there can be any number of keywords. In A3 you can only assign one labe at a time. So this made me think of how I'd use Labels.
So thus my question: how would you incorporate labels & flags into your existing workflows consisting of star ratings & keywords?

I've wanted flags for a long time just to be able to mark where I left off on a project. My inelegant solution has been to give a terrible picture 5 stars. Other uses are to quickly get back to certain images.
I don't yet know how exactly I'll use labels or what other uses I'll have for flags, but I'm happy to have the added versatility. Between flags and labels, I have 8 new ways to mark and filter images. (10 if you count no flag and no label.) Sure one can do a lot with stars, stacks and keywords, but now one can do more.

One of my computers died and I want to still use iTunes to get more music but I don’t want to erase what I have on my iPod now. I need to use a different computer with out erasing all the music I have now?? HELP

If your iPod is set to update automatically you need to take care connecting to a different iTunes. You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows with iTunes 7.3 or later installed hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys together. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 20 to 30 seconds depending on your computer: iTunes - Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows
When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual. If you want to connect and use an iPod on more than one computer you need to change the update preference in the iPod Summary tab to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply. The content of iTunes and the iPod are not syncronised in this mode so the two can be different. You can directly access the content of the iPod and play it through iTunes and you can drag and drop whatever you want to the iPod from either library:

Something else to be aware of when using an iPod in manual mode is that the "Do Not Disconnect" message will remain on the display until you physically eject the device: Safely Disconnect IPod

So when I connect the shuffle to the computer it shows up in itunes. I can click on it and it takes me to the summary page with several tabs (music, podcast, etc), but I can't seem to figure out how to see what songs I have uploaded to the device? Any ways to figure this out, your help is appreciated

You need to click the small arrow on the left hand side your iPod's device name in the left hand pane of iTunes as seen in this photo (in this case the name of the iPod is in fact iPod ). Doing so will open up a small menu underneath.

If it was synced via iTunes, you will have to uncheck it and re-sync.

Your Apple ID is used for several services through your iPhone. To replace the previous Apple ID you will need to sign out of it in a few different spots and sign in with the current Apple ID (depending on what Apple ID you choose to use for each individual service). The services you may need to sign out of old Apple ID and into new one could include iCloud, Messages, FaceTime, and iTunes & App Stores. You can see what Apple ID is currently signed in and sign out of it in the following areas: Settings > iCloud, Settings > Messages, Settings > FaceTime, and Settings > iTunes & App Store.
