How do you zoom in a portfolio?

I can zoom documents when viewing portfolios created in Acrobat 9 pro ext'd but the zoom option is grayed out in portfolios created in Acrobat X pro, am I doing something wrong or has the feature been removed in the 'improved' version X?

Thanks Steve - this is a better 'workaround' than opening the file because there is a small icon in the top left to close the preview and return to the other portfolio content. If you were to open the file then there is no icon in the top left to close so you have to go to file then close and one may think this would close the portfolio. V9 was much better because you could click on a portfolio file and just zoom without have to take additional steps to open.
Is there any way of having the file open without the bookmark pane opening to increase the viewing area without having to go to view/ show-hide/navigation panes/bookmarks each time?
Thanks for you help and support
Roy

  • IPad Keynote presentation via airplay - how do you zoom in

When playing a Keynote presentation on ipad to a monitor via airplay, how do you zoom into a slide? The "expand/pinch" 2-finger method just ends the presentation.

My guess is that the presenters were using the "Action" function in the build option inside inspector, there are options called "actions" where you can rescale an image larger or smaller.
There is also a slide transition called "magic move" which would allow the same image on two slides to alter as an action build (such as scaling) while transitioning from one slide to the next.

  • How do you zoom out from a fixed point?

Okay, I'm not sure if this is possible, but...
My first video clip in a scene is pretty boring, since there's no action, just a guy typing at his keyboard. To add in some motion, I'd like to have it start out so that all you can see are his eyes, but then it zooms out to show the whole scene.
So what I'd want to do is somehow set his eyes as a fixed point and then zoom out from there. However, I have no idea how to go about doing this, since I don't even know how to zoom out. I know how to zoom in, but not out.
    Could someone please help me?

Adjust position and scale using keyframes.

  • How can you zoom on image assets in the cloud asset viewer?

I've been using the web interface for viewing image assets. I am typically working with very "tall" images, which are comps of full-length webpages. Because they are so tall, they are often zoomed out quite far. If I click on the "full screen" expand icon, it doesn't really do anything of value - it still shows me the entire tall image. Is there any way, within the web interface, to zoom in on a particular section of a high-resolution image (specifically PNGs of JPEGs)? If I use the browser's native zoom function, it actually makes the images smaller.

    Thank you for the feedback.
Currently you cannot pan and zoom using the web application at https://assets.adobe.com. Please download the file(s) in question and view them on your desktop.

As the title says, I can no longer figure out how to zoom in on a portion of the screen using Captivate 8. Adobe, of course, had to change it from version 7. How does one go about doing it?

  • How do you use forward and back button on mouse and use "zoom" in web browser.

Ok so apparently this forum is ruled with an iron fist or something my very honest and truthful problems with these issues seem to have been instantly deleted in my last discussion?
    I'll try this once more.
    1) How do you use the forward and back button on a mouse without having to buy a product like Steer Mouse? There must be a way to do this without having to buy a program given it's such a useful feature that 99% of users need. I don't want to spend hours researching something that should already work. Any advice?
    2) How do you zoom in for web browsers like Chrome without it globally zooming in everything on the monitor (even background applications). I don't want to zoom in background applications. I want to be able to zoom in the web browser and still maintain all the features like the side bar, not just a little magnifying glass type thing.
I'm currently zooming in with the CTRL-Middle Mouse button, but I can't find a way to use this feature so it's useful to browse the web it seems to not scale the browser correctly but rather is a global zoom. Any solution for this?

    Thanks so much!
Like I said I am new to Apple products so it's still unclear to me which programs I do or don't need as I'm setting up and configuring all my software and devices.
The Logitech Control Center appears to work perfectly for what I was trying to do!
I accidently clicked "This helped me" instead of "This Solved My Question", sorry about that this was a solve!

How do you set the default zom level in Safari when running the new Mavericks OS X 10.9, so every page opened doesn't have to be zoomed individually?

I made an account just to "like" your comment and say that you are a god among men.
I've been searching for hours about how to make the zoom level persistent throughout following links in various PDF's I have, and most sources were saying to just buy acrobat pro and edit the bookmarks manually with it.
I saw that it was possible to write an application to change the property, and considered doing it after the only pre-existing custom application I could find was asking for $50.
Thanks to you, I no longer have to worry about re-zooming every time I click a bookmark, and I'm not out $50 or the time it would take to code an app myself!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

  • How do you make a Portfolio in Photoshop and Publish it.

Hi I have found many tutorials on making a portfolio in Photoshop but once you have created your layout how are you supposed to make it into a website?  This might be a really stupid question but help would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and the Portfolio I am making is for Photography if that matters...
Also I am using Photoshop CS4 Extended

In the Output module of Bridge there is a section for creating a web gallery.

  • How do I zoom in on my workspace while a small window tells you where you are in your image?

I'm a new user to PSE9, and I know the common basics. Currently, I'm working on an image that I've scanned onto my computer, but it's very large. I have to zoom into specific areas to get the colour right, but how can I zoom in while knowing where I am in the picture?
My teacher has taught us how to find a window that allows you to zoom in and zoom out. I don't have a screenshot of it, but the window is normally in the top right corner and it shows your image. You can zoom in/out on the window with the magnifying glass while your actually sized workspace zooms with the window.
I know this was hard to explain, and it might be hard to understand, but this will help me a lot when I'm working on my drawings as I'm hoping to specialize in digital art.

    Thanks so much!!!

Check to see that it isn't set to video recording (which doesn't zoom).  Otherwise you may need to restore your phone to fix this if it's a software problem (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414).  Restoring replaces the iOS with a fresh copy of the latest iOS.

  • How do you prevent Acrobat PDFMaker from rasterizing vector graphics?

I am using the "Create PDF" button (provided by the Acrobat PDFMaker in Acrobat X) to create a PDF from a Microsoft Word 2010 document.
This works fine, except that vector graphics in the Word document appear in the resulting PDF as raster graphics. (That is, when I zoom in, document text outside the graphics appears smooth, but the graphics are blocky; and text inside the graphics that should be retained as text - it's not converted to curves - is just pixels.)
The original artwork for the vector graphics is in CorelDRAW X6 (sorry, Adobe!).
I have exported the following files from the original vector drawing in CorelDRAW:
    - EPS (with TIFF preview)
    - Windows metafile (.wmf)
    - Enhanced metafile (.emf)
I can insert any of these files into Word okay (Insert > Picture), but the resulting PDF always contains a rasterized (bitmapped) version of the vector graphic ("line art").
From memory, this didn't use to happen in my previous working environment (Acrobat 8 Pro with Word 2003, using artwork exported from CorelDRAW 12).
How do you prevent Acrobat X PDFMaker from rasterizing vector graphics? Or is Word 2010 (or CorelDRAW X6) somehow to "blame" here?

    Transparency Flattening is being invoked.
From the Create PDF button, select Properties, what is your setting for Default Settings? Select High Quality Print
