different people have different migration patterns.
IMO, all the companies offer good service, despite their bickering with each other. there is just a different niche for each.
I would check with what the people have that you are around all the time and see who compains the most or doesn't have service when the others do. some carriers have service in areas where the others don't and visa-versa. it is just how they are able to obtain permits for putting up their cell sites, or sharing towers agreements.

  • How does 1Web Personal Domain really work with MobileMe?

    I'm reading the steps of iMap and the author says "If you domain forward or mask to your .Mac (MobileMe) address, please always use the .Mac (MobileMe) address and not your own domain!" It seems to me that anyone who registers a personal domain name must domain forward or mask. If these instructions are correct, how would one's own domain name ever appear?

    It seems to me that anyone who registers a personal domain name must domain forward or mask.
    That's not correct. iWeb's personal domain feature is designed to use CNAME pointing.

    I live in the country and there is no High speed available, How does Firefox for desk top work with Dial up ??? I have a great dell computer, Dimention 8400. Before I install firefox I want to know for no waste of time for either party..

    Unless you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did enable it then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
    If it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.
    If it was never registered to your account then it won't appear on your support profile : https://supportprofile.apple.com/
    The only other ways to find it that I know of (apart from on the actual device) are via the packaging, the backup on a computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4061

  • How to make "visa find resource" working with Agilent device

    I am trying to use Agilent 82357B GPIB device with LabVIEW for instrument control.
    I have checked:
    1.       NI-VISA (ver 5.1.1) is the primary visa by checking visa.dll properties under windows\system32 folder
    2.       Enable NIVISATulip.dll in NI Max Explorer
    3.       Enable the Agilent libraries to work with NI 488.2 in Agilent IO library (ver 16).
    I am able to communicate with the instrument in Max Explorer and talk to the instrument in LabVIEW with VISA write for almost all commands.
    But I can NOT make one particular visa function (Visa find resource) working with Agilent 82357B GPIB.
    With NI USB GPIB device, the same code above can find attached instruments as below, where GPIB1 is the Agilent device and GPIB0 is the NI device.
    I have no clue on how to make “visa find resource” working with Agilent device.
    Please help.

    Quick question.  Did you also enable 488 support in Agilent?
    If that does'not work try this.  and well see if you found a bug

  • How does Creative Cloud for teams work with staff who work in two locations ie in the office/home

    How does Creative Cloud from teams work with staff who work in two locations i.e. in the office and home?

    There is no difference please be aware that each login is provided with two activations however.  If you wish to have a computer at both work and home activated though that is perfectly fine as long as your employer is ok with using company software at home.

  • How can I use find a phone with my family members but they each have there own email

    How can I use find a phone with my family's iphone when they already have email addresses?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    You can't use find my phone from your phone if your other family members use another iCloud account.
    You have two options depending on why you want to find the phones.
    Use find my phone at iCloud.com on a mac/PC and log in using their account.
    Use the find my friends app

  • How does a RemoteObject find its destination?

    I am new to Flex. I am a long time Java/C++/C developer so my head won't explode if we get technical.
    I am trying to figure out how a RemoteObject finds it's destination with just a simple reference as "SomeDestId" configured on BlazeDS the app server.
    From the client side I am used to getting a reference to some Registry like JNDI or whatever by stating which host and port to use or a URI or something more absolute. I am aware that the flash player has a sandbox so we can dispense with the host, we know what it has to be. But my question is. How does the swf file or the context of the flex app know where my BlazeDS is rooted in my J2EE app server if I don't tell it?
    What am I missing? I have looked at the example code and have read the developer pdf but nobody talks about this.
    Does BlazeDS start listing on a well known port other than the application server's port?
    If not how is my flex program supposed to know what port BlazeDS is on?
    Anyone know how this automagic works? Because I can't find it in the docs.
    Does my SWF file need to be deployed from within the BlazeDS deployment if so I have missed where in the documentation this is stated.

    Ok folks, I am aware of the channel sets and end points. These are configured in BlazeDS, the server side of this client/server arrangement. Everybody fixates on this server config. I got that.
    But the client side is what I am fixated on.
    Let us view the flash player as a virtual machine. More importantly a virtual machine that is not the same virtual machine that BlazeDS is running in which is running in a J2EE app server somewhere in the universe (hopefully in the same domain) but elsewhere in that domain EXACT location unknown to the client VM. Unless somebody has told the CLIENT where BlazeDS (the server) is somehow or some where.
    From everybody's perspective there seems to be no separation in terms of Client/Server because all I get is its done on the server side config.
    The client is asking it's virtual machine to return a reference to a RemoteObject at destination="LahDeeDah" not LahDeeDah@somehost:someport:somepath or what ever syntax you would care to use. This implies that "LahDeeDah" is registered in some kind of hashing registry that knows something about where BlazeDS is located and that it even exists.
    How does the CLIENT swf program find this registry if I compile it in some IDE like Eclipse that is not aware that BlazeDS even exists somewhere? Remember, Channels and EndPoints are all configured on the server not in the CLIENT.
    You folks keep talking about how to configure the server side. I want to know what mechanism allows the client to get access to this server side configuration. Remember this conf.xml is on the server not in my IDE or in the src that creates my SWF file.
    As to an earlier post someone eluded to BlazeDS compiling the SWF file. No where in the docs did I see anything that said you MUST compile your src with BlazeDS and NOT some IDE like Flex Builder 3 which is what I am using.
    Did I miss this somewhere? Or was this info supposed to be handed down through divine revalation?
    Oh I give up! I'll just tear into the src and figure it out myself. It should be in the RemoteObject hierarchy.

  • How does one use an external microphone with the internal camera?

    I want to use the internal camera because I don't have anything better but I want to use an external mic to record video and sound simultaneously, for a video blog. How does one accomplish this? I'm getting no help from the manual.

    Try this. Connect your external mic, either through the audio line in port or, into a USB port if it is a USB mic and then go to System Preferences under the Apple and select the Sound icon under Hardware. Click on your mic shown in the list of input devices.
    Hope that works for you.

  • How does ADS on CE environment communicate with a NW 7.01 EP Portal

    I am at a customer site that is installing Adobe Document Services on their CE environment.  The already have an AS Java with EP portal on it but decided not to use ADS on the portal server and instead, configure ADS on CE 7.2.  Can you explain to me how the ADS on CE will communicate with EP Portal on AS JAVA NW 7.01?
    I understand the connection with ABAP (using ADSUSER) and the RFC connection but I don't see how they can publish PDF's to the portal and have ADS on CE communicate.
    Thanks for the information.
    Peggy

    i think you just have to configure the ws client in VA of nw7.01.
    make it point to ads of ce server

  • How to update person or group column with peopleeditor control values

    Hi,
    I have created custom aspx page and added "PeopleEditor" control(can select multiple users)  in that page. Now I am trying to update person or group column with peopleeditor control values.I am not getting any error if I select single user
    in PeopleEditor control but getting error if I select more than one user.
    UpdateItem(listItem, "ListColumnName",
    listItem.ParentList.ParentWeb.EnsureUser(peopleeditorId.CommaSeparatedAccounts));
    Can anybody help me out to resolve the issue?
    Thank you in advance!!!
    AA.

    First get all the users/groups from the PeapleEditor by using PeapleEditor.ResolvedEntities
    foreach (PickerEntity pickerEntity in peopleEditor.ResolvedEntities)
    SPPrincipalType principalType = (SPPrincipalType)Enum.Parse(typeof(SPPrincipalType), pickerEntity.EntityData["PrincipalType"].ToString());
    if (principalType == SPPrincipalType.User || principalType == SPPrincipalType.SecurityGroup)
    string loginName = pickerEntity.Key;
    //your code here
    else if (principalType == SPPrincipalType.SharePointGroup)
    string groupName = pickerEntity.Key;
    //your code here
    Add all the users/groups in an instance of SPFieldUserValueCollection
    and then update your list item.
    SPFieldUserValueCollection users = new SPFieldUserValueCollection();
    users.Add(new SPFieldUserValue(web,user.ID,user.Name));
    item["YourUserColumn"] = users;
    item.Update();

  • How does scaling work under Windows 7 with the new MBP with retina display?

    After installing Windows in a boot camp partition on the new MacBook Pro, how does scaling work compared to OS X? Does Windows know to have several pixels imitate a single pixel like in OS X when running in 1440 x 900, or is there no scaling effect available?

    I suggest reading the following article that was published yesterday...

  • HT2905 How does one get rid of duplicates with iTunes 11.0?

    Found an old Apple post about how to find duplicate files in iTunes. iTunes 11 seems to not have this ability, or at least the same way of doing things. Can someone explain how to find duplicates with 11?

    Right now you will have to do it manually by just sorting by track name and looking, or use a third-party tool such as Dupin. Apple has said that the Show Duplicates feature will return in a future update, but provided no timeframe.
    Regards.

    Have you looked at the accessibilty features:

    With iOS 6 (released in fall of this year for the iPad 3) you can use voice/Siri for seleing apps.
