How Does FXHome compare with the latest version of Motion?
Motion is the only application in the FCS suit that I dont have much experience with. I suspect there are quite a few people like myself that would tend to put motion as a last priority when getting to grips with FCS.
I've been spending some time looking at the FXHome website (http://fxhome.com/) and watching their tutorials. It looks very impressive for what you get for the money. There are a suit of applications that they bundle which appear to cover everything motion can do and a whole lot more.
IS there anyone using the FXHome software with Final Cut Studio? I'd be really interested to know.

i dont know much about fxhome, but looking at the site briefly it appears to be a hole mess of products and add ons. it says it works with fcp and premiere, so i presume its a plug-in type thing? it seems to double up on a lot of the features of motion, and while some of them may be more features, i doubt it offers the flexibilty and power that motion offers overall.
i'd say make motion a higher priority!

Juno does not work with the latest version of firefox Why?
I would love to install the latest version of Firefox, but when I attempted to It indicated that It was not compatible with my Juno email service, why don't you guys ever include Juno when you do updates? Very frustrating as now my browser experience feels like my computer is dead. I finally gave up and installed Safari which is working at lightning speed. Don't suggest IE as I hate all Microsoft products,they are even worse at not testing things.

I suppose you mean the Color Settings in Project Settings as follows:
- Working Space: None
- Match Legacy ... Gamma Adjustments checked ON
But it does not correct the colors in effects. And checking or unchecking Make Movie/Output Module Settings/Color Management/Profile/Preserve RGB does not make any difference.

Those parts of the video image that does not have color effects are just fine. In these parts the color is preserved when reimporting to FCP. However, those parts having color effects (except Levels, as decribed earlier) have altered color results. So, only the parts having effects affecting color are misinterpreted in the image area. The mismatch is of course seen in AE, before making the movie.
What I ment with "Color Management not working properly" is that (instead of "disabling" it) Color Management does not seem to be able to correct this "misinterpretation" or difference in effect handling between AE 6 and 10.
So, would you have any solution for this problem?

I purchased my mac Sept 2011 with the latest version of iphoto. Every time I try to do an iphoto update I'm always asked to log in with the name I used to purchase the app. Does this mean that I have to purchase the latest update? I thought the updates were free and if it so, how do I actually update iphoto?
DId you Accept the apps when you bought the Mac? In the App Store go to the Purchases List and press Accept there. Then you'll be able to update. If that's not available then you'll need to contact App Store support.

How can I get Recipefox to work with the latest version (16) of Firefox?
Recipefox worked on previous versions of Firefox. I could use the Grab It feature on many sites & easily retrieve recipes. Now, with the latest version of Firefox, it does not work on any of the recipe websites. Is there a more recent version of Recipefox that works with Firefox version 16, I am using 0.68. How do I delete files on my iPod second gen? This is a NEW problem I have only had with the latest version of iTunes. I have not changed libraries. All files are grayed out. I have already read related posts in the iTunes community.
Thanks but I had already read this, and it was no help at all. Under the Summary tab, "Options", there is no check-box to manually manage my stuff. I suspect this is because it is a 2nd gen iPod, with ONLY manual management. The only way to delete my stuff seems to be to reset the entire device.
I like to listen to podcasts. What is particularly frustrating is that the 4th gen shuffle CANNOT play podcasts, but ONLY music, which I discovered after a lot of research and multiple visits to an Apple store. So I have to resort to an older version of the shuffle to play podcasts And now with the latest version of iTunes there seems to be no way to delete any podcasts on the older version. Apple just makes it harder and harder for us podcast-lovers, driving us away from Apple -- driving me away from the entire brand and from ALL Apple devices, not just iPod. -

It was just a hunch that MircoNetFrame was causing the problem. I disabled it as you suggested, and I still have the problem.
I just changed under Tools>Options> General - had checked "ask me every time" under downloads, so instead of asking me, FF saved the download to I know not where. It no longer saves it to the desktop, leaving a duplicate in "my documents".
In windows, I have found unless one knows the entire name of the document, one can never find anything. It isn't listed under recent ''''''__. I can't recall the nomenclature, but the
capability is ridiculous. So, I don't know where that file I just downloaded is!
I downloaded a PDF file, but this happens with all DL's. It was so easy to have them all stacked in one place and I could recall
what I had and when I downloaded it easily.
Do you have any other suggestions other that going back to the old version of FF, which I would rather not do?

Hi, does anyone have drivers that will enable a Tascam US-144 (old model) to work with the latest version of Lion? The drivers available on the manufacturer's download site are for a newer model and were not designed specifically to work with Lion. Does anyone have a tried and tested fix for this? Thank you.

Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.) -
I just purchased an iTunes TV show and it successfully downloaded. It is now saying that I do not have the proper version of QuickTime on this version of iTunes (10.6.3).
How can a show I purchased be incompatible with the latest version of iTunes?

I have an IPAD 3 and recently updated the IOS software with the latest version and now video from some sites will not display where it did prior to the update. When I go to those same sites on my other IPAD that I did not do the softward update the video still works. Any idea why and what to do to fix it?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. With the latest version of itunes, are you able to search your library by purchase date? My prior itunes software had Name, Time, Artist, Album, Genre, Rating, Plays and Purchased. With Version 11.0.3 of itunes, 'Purchased' is not a tabbed option to sort. Can this be added?

Great question, we simply need to check "Purchased Date" from the View Options menu.
In iTunes 11, click the "View" menu and choose "Show View Options". Located under "Stats" is the "Purchase Date" option.
