How does IDoc update database in R3

hello friends,
i have a doubt in MDM-XI-R3 scenario...
i have say successfully posted an IDoc in R/3 system...the status shown there is green...
now how does this data in this IDoc gets updated in the database?
can anyone clearly mention what happens after IDoc reaches R/3?

let me write down what i have understood ..plz correct me if i have not followed properly..
1) Once IDocs successfully reach R3 , a function module specific to the Idoc type is called "<b>automatically</b>" and updates database...
2) this function module we specify in the process code while creating partner profiles
basically all we need to do is to specify correct function module, right?
the rest of the process ie . updation in the tables(database) is done automatically..
Once database is updated, where can i see the added/updated records in database?
also how do we find this function module?
I am using MATMAS05...

You should not update the standard database table directly.
through the partner profile tcode: WE20 you can update the table EDIPHONE.
u can choose required partner profile in the WE20, select the tab 'Telephony', and update the data, the table EDIPHONE will get updated.
if you want to maintain this edi phone data for a particular message type/s then select inbound/output parameters and double clikc on it, go to last tab in teh screen 'Telephony', and updated the required data.

If you're not using chrome you can just go to adobe's website (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/) and download the newest flash player. You run the .dmg and then open the application, which updates flash. With the latest version of flash there should be a preference pane within system preferences to allow you to change settings and check for updates.

How does one update Subtemple value from Yes to No?

Greetings! In the instructions of a published problem statement (Note ID: 808571.11) there is a line that says:
"c) Check if the subtemplate is set to NO. Update it to NO if it is set to Yes."
How does one update the Subtemplate value from Yes to No? In edit configuration, I do not see a Subtemplate value column.

With all due respect ... I do not see how one can change the Subtemplate value from Yes to No. When I query the offending Template, the Subtemplate column is not displayed in bold, indicating to me that it can not be updated. Your MBP updates time from a time server over the internet. The iPhone sets the time using the cell phone system. My AT&T iPhone is always 1 minute behind my MBP.
I think that the iPad syncs time with iTunes or through the WiFi network. My iPad which syncs to my MBP and uses WiFi from an Apple AirPort Extreme has the same exact time as my MBP, down to the second (they switch minutes simultaneously). I might be wrong on this point, so if someone knows something more, I will stand corrected.

How does Vault Update - all or only altered data?

With a vault already established, how does the update vault process works? In other words, let say I modified or created 10 image versions (of the 3,000 plus stored in Aperture). If I update the valut (on a external HD), are all pictures overwritten or just the new data that's changed?

The vault functionality is basically a sync functions. After updating a vault, the vault will be a copy of you Aperture Lib. This means that images that you have deleted from you lib will be deleted from you vault. Notice that the images are not gone, but copied to a folder called deleted images.

How does BDB update its secondary index?

I am asking how does Berkeley DB update its secondary index?
For example, in a BDB table with key value pair ``<k,v1>``, the index database would have reversed pair like ``<v1,k>``. Upon an insert (or essentially an update) ``<k,v2>``, base table record ``<k,v1>`` should be overwritten to ``<k,v2>``.
But how would BDB deal with ``<v1,k>`` in the index table? Will it delete it immediately?

As long as you correctly open the primary database and secondary index database, and associate the secondary index database with the primary, any update on the primary database will be reflected in the secondary index.

How does CLOSED_CODE updated in PO_LINES_ARCHIVE_ALL table

How does CLOSED_CODE column will be updated in PO_LINES_ARCHIVE_ALL table. We have setup "Archive On Approve" for archiving.
Does below is a valid check to verify the line count between lines table and archive table?
We are comparing the line count in Lines table and Archive table, and if there is difference in count, then it is assumed to be change in the Lines,
so then direct the PO Approval Worfkflow for re-approval.
Kindly suggest if below check is correct or not, especially check on CLOSED_CODE='OPEN'.
In few cases, the lines in PO_LINES_ALL table has CLOSED_CODE = 'CLOSED' but, PO_LINES_ARCHIVE_ALL table has lines with CLOSED_CODE = 'OPEN' even after PO approval.
Is this expected behavior? When Does CLOSED_CODE will get updated in archive table?

How Does One Update Lightroom to 4.3 if in this Creative Cloud Hell???

Trying to update to 4.3 from 4.1 -- Checked the application manager - no updates to 4.1. Went through the program - update lightroom - downloaded 4.3 and it installed as a separate program without deleting 4.1. Now it asks for a serial number. Creative cloud members don't get serial numbers.
Here's my chat transcript with adobe's terrible, hellacious, moronic, and incompetent support person:

Have you tried applying the update by going to Help>Updates within Photoshop Lightroom? The update should be using the same licensing? Did you perhaps customize the installation location? Finally which operating system are you using?

I have a question on BI 7.0 Full Updtae.. How does it works exactly... My question is am loading data from Flat-file as a Full Update... Once If load the data through infopackage.. As we all knew dat. It brings the data to PSA.. later when i run the DTP it gets loaded into Data Targert.. Suppose if wanna load the same file with few changes.. Should i delete the request from PSA.. If not, Itz getting updated with duplicate records.. Suppose, If i delete the request from PSA and reload the same file with changes.. Then itz getting loaded successfully...

Delta DTP fetches unloaded requests only assuming you have started off with a delta DTP.
Only changed records in the flatfile may not be loaded as DTP fetches all data in the new request into target.
Can you stage a DSO ..will the overwrite functionality suit your business needs?

You can start off with a delta DTP.
Or
Run a pseudo DTP after the Full DTP for deltas to follow.

"iOS" is the operating system on handheld Apple devices.
You can either update your device wirelessly from Settings > General > Software update or by connecting to a computer using iTunes. Make a backup to iCloud or iTunes before you do any update, so you can restore it, if something should go wrong. Also, make sure it is connected to a power source, if you update wirelessly.
