Newbi Question: How does one create a similar page to this using APEX 3.1?

I am trying to create a help document with screen shoots inside our APEX web application and I am hamstrung by the type of Region and Item objects available to me. When I tried to create HTML region I was limited to how much html characters I can put in the source. When I look into the item menu nothing seems to allow me to stick in large chunk of HTML code either.

It is exactly the type of page I want to create with lots of text and screen shots and I presume that it is built within APEX? So my questions is: How did they do this? Did they use tools available within APEX or some external tool? Was all this outputted using BLOB and Htp("") and PL/SQL? I am trying hard to avoid having to do that.
I was also unable to stick in an in image into my page using instruction from http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10513_01/doc/appdev.310/e10499/ui.htm#CBBHGJCH which left me pretty frustrated. (external amazon gif worked).

I am glad that you got images to display. I am not sure what kind of html report you want to display, there is a limit of number of characters in a region its 32767 characters, so if you want to display large html file you can create html region with no template and limit each region to 30,000 characters and create as many region as you want.
If you want to display data from any table ( as per the first url) you can create SQL reports, something like

How does one mirror margins on Pages 5.5.2?

Earlier versions of Pages had a "Facing Pages" category in which to set margins as "inner" and "outer". This permitted margins on the bound side of the page to be different from those on the outer edge of the page. I am having difficulty finding something similar in this version.

That is because Pages 5.x lacks the feature, along with non contiguous select, bookmarks, mail merge, linked text boxes, adult word/page count, and another 90-plus features. The software is a toy, definitely not ready for prime time. Use Word: it just works.

Sounds like you are using Gmail.
Pages 5 uses a zipped package of files as its format. 3rd party servers don't understand the format and show it as the component parts.
Use Mail toenail the file or zip the .pages document before sending.

Brilliant thank you, only on mine it is called alt as I have only just discovered, and lo, as you say, Save As actually appears!
Apple isn't so obstinate after all - but why do they make it so difficult to find their simple solution? I even bought a book about switching (O'Reilly's) and nothing is mentioned about any of this.

At the top of this page, click on your name or avatar to go to your profile page. You need to have more than one product listed in My Products and the one you need to edit can't be set as the default. So, add a product if you only have one & set this second as default. Then back to your profile page where you can edit the settings, including your OS version. Then back again to set this one as default. This is just one of many, many things that the current forum software makes very difficult. I have to go "hunting" for the setting each time, it's that difficult. If I were invited to test changes or a new version, this is one thing I'd mention.

I’ve owned Macs since 1990 (IICX my first), mostly desktops. Having had DVD/CD drives in all my previous laptop Macs since 2001 - (2) G4 Powerbooks, A 17” Mac Book Pro - and also inspecting a friend’s year-old Mac Book Pro which had the DVD slot - unless someone told me at purchase, I had no reason to know that the Retina display version of the 15” had NO DVD drive. ANYHOW, I fully intended to buy the non-Retina display version, because it was cheaper. Unfortunately by the time I got to the Apple store they were no longer selling the non-Retina display version; all versions were ONLY with the Retina display. And the fine distinction of a DVD vs. a non-DVD drive was not pointed out. So now I have to shell out an additional $80 bucks for an external SuperDrive.

Hello Robert,
I don't think such a feature exists within iBooks Author but it is a feature within ePub.
So if you are viewing ePub books on an iPad the pages turn but if you are looking at books made with iBooks Author it is a page sliding.
I will stand to be corrected here but I hope this helps some what.

To remove Audiobooks depending on the type of Audiobook ie a series of mp3 files you will find under music and probably have to deselect the album name to remove it. I don't have any of these as I download from Audible or I use Audiobook Builder to stictch together mp3 files into m4b files. To find these Click on Books you will immediately see a section for books (in reality ebooks). Scroll down past that and you will see Audiobooks where you can select and deselect. Deselect the required Audiobooks and Click Sync

How Does One Modify Photoshop Templates in Dreamweaver

I posted this over on the Photoshop forum, but no one has
replied. It is a hybrid sort of question.
I've been trying to modify the Horizontal Neutral template of
the Web Photo Gallery in Photoshop CS using Dreamweaver MX (v.6.1)
on my G5 running Tiger and am almost there. Aside from the overall
design (fonts and colors) I really like the interface of this
particular gallery with a horizontal slider to quickly scroll
through images, that when selected, appear in large form in the
center of the page. But I need to customize it to get it to match
the feel of my site.
My problem: I'm trying to point to a gif file that is part of
my website image library as my background. I want the Horizontal
Neutral Gallery to float in that image background. But, I can't
seem to get the background image to appear where it is supposed to.
I've gone into the various components of the template
(FrameSet, SubPage, etc.) and by duplicating the files and
modifying the code, I am able to get the background image to appear
within the tables that make up the navigation and image gallery
components. But, I've not been able to get the image to appear as
the background itself.
I'd even be happy to simply have the entire Horizontal
Neutral Gallery float in the middle of one of my own pages with the
image file as a background if it is possible, but can't seem to
even get it to do that. How does one access the code that controls
the background image in this template or the script that generates
these galleries?

The reason the that the edit button ( - ) top righthand corner had 'disappeared', was that iCloud was enabled but that the Addressbook subsetting under iCloud was set to off in the phone settings.
Changing it to 'on' made the edit button reappear.

I would like to write a review for an app I bought from the App Store.

Where? In the App Store via the internet (e.g. on my iMac), OR via the App Store button on my iPad Mini?
"Click "Write a Review" in the Customer Reviews section."
How? I could find no active link associated with the Customer Reviews section once I had located the item for which I wanted to write a review.
So the question remains "How does one write a review for an app?" … and, so far as things stand, the instructions provided in the page <http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3928> are, as far as I can tell useless. Certainly, the Apple website and associated instructions have become, for this long-time user, more akin to Microsoft Windows in their impenetrable lack of intuitive, user-friendly ccharacter.
Oh yeh. To add to my 'disgruntledness' … How come there is no iPad Mini option in the Product drop down below?

I have been having this issue for months, now--at least 3-4. I updated my credit card info on my account, thinking maybe that would do it, but NOPE--can't review a single thing I've ever purchased in iTunes--not from my iPhone 5, PC or iPad 2. Depends on your code. If your site uses Server-side Includes, it's quite possible the footers are in a separate file in your site folder such as footer.php or footer.incl, or footer.html.
If that's the case here, you need a local testing server to see them in your parent page.
