How does one report bugs to Apple re iOS 6?

So many things are going wrong since the update ... How does one let Apple know?  (not feedback)

At the feedback website (http://www.apple.com/feedback) under feedback type select "Bug Report".  That is the official way to submit a bug report.

Have you tried applying the update by going to Help>Updates within Photoshop Lightroom?  The update should be using the same licensing?  Did you perhaps customize the installation location?  Finally which operating system are you using?

  • The App Store print is too small and apparently unadjustable.  I am in my 60s and this problem will not resolve itself over time.  How does one effectively complain to Apple?

The App Store print is too small for my 7th-decade eyes and is apparently unadjustable.  How does one effectively complain to Apple about this?
    Thanks, Jeremy

    Hi Jeremy...
There's a work around that may help you. The Mac OS X has "accessibity" features installed that can assist in viewing text.
Open System Preferences then select Universal Access then select the Seeing tab.
    Zoom settings are available there.
More about Mac OS X accessiliity here >  Apple - Accessibility - OS X - Vision
You can provide feedback to Apple here >  Apple - Mac OS X - Feedback
If you are not aware, when viewing Safari webpages, you can press Command + (plus)  or Command - (minus) to adjust the size of the page.
For zooming text only, click View from the Safari menu bar then from the drop down menu click Zoom Text Only.

  • How does one report app fraud?

There is an app for Pads currently appearing as the first choice for "Geocaching" that is not what it appears to be.  The app is using the Geocaching.com's logo and is selling for a "bargin" price.  It is very obviously not connected with Geocaching.com, but is possibly doing other harm.  How is this reported and how does it get action taken against it?

  • How does one report a "bug", or suggest a "fix" for iTunes?

I'm a musician. When I have to learn a song from a recording, I play it on iTunes, and play along with it.  Often I need to go over a difficult section 50 times to figure it out.  I used to be able to just position the cursor on the progress bar in iTunes and simply tap the mouse or mousepad to repeat that section over and over and over.
Now that ability is gone.  I don't know if this is an iTunes change, or something to do with having upgraded to 10.6.8
Another thing that has changed, is the ability to use the Enter key on the bottom right side of the keyboard to edit song names or artist names while in 'Album' view in iTunes.
Really little things that made my life so much easier.  Is there a way to find out how or why these changes happened, or to have them changed back on the next update...?
    Appreciate any helps...!

  • How does one report a CC bug?

With no Creative Cloud window visible, switching to Mission Control does this... window image in thumbnail, blue window indicator in desktop image, Creative Cloud title.   None of this junk should be visible.  I'll send the image to Adobe if they care.

When in window mode, it appears normal.  When pinned to the menu bar with the window visible, it appears proper (window is visible in thumbnail and desktop).  When pinned to menu bar but invisible on the desktop, the window title always and the shadow sometimes appear in Mission Control.
There's another, more subtle bug with the CC window pinned to the menu bar...  if it's not visible in the primary desktop and you switch to another desktop (non-full-screen) and click the menu bar icon, Mission Control switches BACK to the primary desktop and shows the CC window.  Shouldn't work that way... it should show the CC window on the secondary desktop from which it was clicked.  I have multiple desktops enabled in Mission Control... which might be different than your configuration.
No - I have no unexpected behaviors from CC or any other applications w/r/t desktops and Mission Control.  Other apps (or components) that use menu bar icons to display windows on different desktops (Google Drive, Dropbox, Messages/AIM, etc.) all work correctly.  Only the CC app seems to make a mess of it.

  • How Does One Report ThinkVantage Software Problems to Lenovo

Per the subject line, how?  If you click the ThinkVantage Technologies link at this URL:
    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=YAST-3P2QYL&sitestyle=lenovo
you get the IBM support center, and they only handle hardware issues.  I have a call in to the IBM supervisor to bring resources to bear from that end, but how to attack this from the Lenovo end?
FYI, my problem is with the Windows XP Control Panel Power Options.  If I set the System Standby option when on battery to 30 minutes, suspend the PC (Fn-F4) and then resume it, this option is then blank and the PC will never suspend automatically when on battery.  I removed the ThinkVantage Power Manager and this problem no longer occurred.   Before this test, I used System Update and it installed the current version of Power Manager.

    Hi,
here is one place, where you can report TT issues.
If you are a company, then there is also an official way, and that is through your contact person, which will directly lead your issue to the appropriate person.
Pelase understand, that TVT Power Manager, if installed , is the primary source, where you should do the changes in Power manager on your system. In case you will change some power settings in Windows power manager, then this might cause confusion and conflict in Power Manager.
Therefore, in case you want to change some power settings on your system and you have TVT Power Manager installed, make sure, that you are using this tool, as after it is installed, it's the primary source for informations.
    Cheers

I want to report it but I can't find anywhere to do so.
Also I want to change my Password, but the adminster Acount feature doesn't allow me to type one in.  when I type one the screen blinks and doesn't indicate I've changed anything

    Carolyn Samit wrote:

You can reset or change the admin password using your install disc.

Carolyn -- your post is wrong in that the link in the OP is NOT from Apple !!!
However the link that you included IS from Apple.

  • How do we report bugs to Apple?

Does anyone have a link to Apple support that allows us to inform them of bugs in 10.5? I know that we can submit logs when an app crashes, but I'm looking for something more general. In my case, my Expose hot-corners don't work when Disk Utility is frontmost.

  • Software validation issue. How does one the validate the Apple store purchased software?

Purchased legit Apple SW.  Had to perform several clean-installs, due to Parellels SW failures.  Now Apple updates list my Mac OS SW as invalid.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Click on App Store iCon in the Dock then click Purchases you will then see a list of all that you have purchased, whats installed and what you can install.

  • How does one report dropped calls?

In my neighborhood (Central Madison, WI) the cell reception inside my house is quite weak. Any call more than a few minutes usually results in a dropped call. Generally the reception in other areas is great. This is quite frustrating.
    Thanks

  • How does one add YouTube to Apple TV?

As of the latest TV software update, YouTube is no longer showing up on the home screen, apparently replaced by Vimeo (which I like, but which has a very limited video selection). Is there any way to get YouTube back on the TV home screen?

Youtube has not been removed. Vimeo is a separate feature/channel, they both should be available on your main menu. You may want to try a reboot, check router/location settings, restore.

  • How does one perform a clean reinstall of iOS 6.1.3 on iPhone 4s?

I'm running iOS 6.1.3 on my iPhone 4s. Siri works consistently, except for the Maps app: there are no voice commands. I've brought this to several Genius Bars and they're stumped too. Settings are all correct but no Siri for voice instructions in Maps.
One specialist thought the problem was with hardware, namely the speakers, and pointed out that water had somehow gotten into the phone via the main jack (a white dot turns red when exposed to water, so they tell me.) OK, but why would the hardware be so selective and consistent: to fail for only Siri and only when she's working through Maps? Otherwise the sound is fine.
I'm wondering if there might be some file corruption in the OS. Normally to rule that out, I would backup all my data, perform a clkem reinstallation of iOS 6 and  any updates, then, migrate back my data. Problem: Apple no longer offers iOS 6 and I'm not interested in iOS 7 at this time, as I've learned that several of my most critical apps are having issues with it.
I strongly urge Apple to please reconsider its decision on the availability of iOS 6.  Here, in my case,
I'm not trying to reverse an upgrade,
Until the issues between the apps and iOS 7 are ironed-out, I still need iOS 6 to run some very important apps
I am now using Maps a lot and I need to be able to hear voice commands.
    So here are my questions:
1Can I install iOS 6.0 from an iOS 6.0 install file using iTunes?
I I install iOS 6.0, will Apple offer me the OTA update to 6.1.3? (I understand that there were some security issues with 6.0). If not, how can I obtain the update?
    3. Where can I find step-by-step instructions for all this?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    1. No.
    2. You can't do that.
    3. No where legitimate. Any instructions you could find to do this would involve an unauthorized modification to the phone, which forfeits all rights to support.

  • How does one turn off the appletv

How does one turn off an Apple tv?  I think it's 3d generation.

If you are at the top level "Home" page, press and hold the Pause Button and AppleTV will shut off after a few seconds.
If you are not yet at the Home page, you can repeatedly press the Menu button to move back up there, or even better press and hold the Menu button to jump back to the Home page no matter how deeply down you've burrowed.
I find it satifying to turn it off when I walk away, but don't know if there's any real advantage compared to just letting it time out as suggested by Kappy.
